We had a birthday dinner here - everything was fantastic. They also have dishes which are not on the menu, food and drinks came really quickly. We would recommend going here, but you either need to have a reservation or come really early to get a table.

So good I had to go back again. A little hard to get to if you don't have a car, but certainly worth the effort for the view alone. Food is amazing, staff are friendly. The lasagne was one of the best I've had and I can also strongly recommend the house red wine. I would definitely recommend booking to avoid disappointment, both times we went we got lucky with a table.

Fantastic food, a fantastic experience! We found this restaurant a day earlier but without reservation we had no chance since the owners want to treat each customer individually and keep their quality high. So we came the next day and we were amazed by the extraordinary food. Everything was delicious. Due to a recommendation by the owner (a woman who speaks several languages!) we started with a warm salat with mushrooms which was very tasty. The main dishes as well as the desert were also really good. The restaurant has a great variety of (local) beers to offer. The location is just perfect! It might be a little difficult to get there but the panoramic view from the restaurant and the surrounding village is just amazing so it's totally worth it. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. Considering the high quality of food and service the prices are absolutely reasonable. Thank you for this great experience!

Possibly the best food on Lago Maggiore. Should really have a Michelin star. Lovely service. The owner speaks at least 5 languages fluently. Amazing original dishes and desserts. A taste experience you will never forget.

It's tough to leave a negative review for a place you didn't even get to try, but our experience was just not great. We were in Milan and had our hearts set on eating at Cardini's after finding it online. The closing time was listed as 3 p.m., so we made sure to get there with plenty of time. But when we arrived at 2:40 p.m., we were told they had already closed at 2 p.m. No matter how much we explained the information we found online, they just turned us away. Why would a business list a closing time of 3 p.m. on every website if they actually close an hour earlier? You don't see stores closing their doors an hour before their listed time, and a airline boarding gate doesn't close an hour early—it closes on time. It's frustrating and misleading.
