Sono stata in questo locale durante una gita sulle tre isole. Particolarmente attratta da questa area sul lago, in cui ho trovato molto piacevole godermi il pranzo. I piatti sono molto semplici. Noi abbiamo optato per un fritto e un primo piatto. I piatti in sé non mi sono dispiaciuti affatto. Se mai dovessi tornare sull’isola probabilmente lo sceglierei di nuovo.

L incantevole Isola dei pescatori fa da contorno a questo bellissimo ristorante che offre cibo di lago squisito oltre ad altri piatti in menu degni di lode. Grazie alla magnifica giornata di fine settembre abbiamo goduto del deor esterno fresco sul lago meravigliosa la vista. Il personale è stato cordialissimo e disponibile anche con la bimba di 3 anni..seggiolone..cambio condimento x primo piatto ecc.. Per mia esperienza..eccellenti e delicati il filetto di persico fritto e la frittura di lago presi da me e i miri suoceri. Ottimi i calamari fritti e la carbonare presi da mio marito e mia figlia. Per la piccola di 3 anni hanno servito i gnocchi fatti in casa conditi con pomodoro..apprezzati. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo.

Location sul lago con ottima visuale, cibo buono. Abbiamo preso parmigiana e pasta con sugo di lago ottimi, lasagna molto meno gustosa e patatine che sanno però un po' troppo d'olio. Servizio nella norma.

excellent food but slow service....beef was first class and so was fish including very well prepared starters, we visited as a group of 12 and nobody left unsatisfied...this place is such a gem compared to the junk found in Venice....well worth a visit...and to respond to a previous review...the espresso was very good! shame about 2 little things which took 1 star from my score. We ordered fries as a side order which came after we finished, then i ordered a beer that never arrived...however the place was very busy.

Ottima location. Cibo buono ma niente di che. Servizio troppo pesante. Nemmeno il tempo di mettere giù la forchetta e il piatto era già sparito.

Ristorante carino, sul lungolago, con prezzi simili alla concorrenza. Mi hanno fatto ricredere sul gusto del pesce di lago, che ricordavo forte e poco gradevole, con la loro grigliata, delicata e leggera. Il piatto prevedeva verdure grigliate(in realtà un semplice spiedino) e non c'era possibilità di cambiare contorno, almeno secondo il cameriere. Ancora non capisco perché. Pizza anonima. Servizio un po' confuso (ho dovuto chiedere il pane due volte, prima di averlo).

La location è l'unico punto veramente positivo di questo locale. La qualità del cibo era mediocre, il servizio pure. Ah se siete una famiglia con bimbi piccoli o neonati lasciate ogni speranza di comfort come avere un fasciatoio o nursery, dico solo che i bagni sono con anticamera comune uomini e donne. Abbiamo chiesto al proprietario di farci sedere più vicino al bordo vista lago e dove c'era più spazio per i passeggini e c'erano i ventilatori dato che avevamo due bimbi piccoli, ma ha inventato che erano posti riservati, peccato che sopra il tavolo non c'era alcun cartellino, tra l'altro ho avuto conferma dagli occupanti del tavolo che non era prenotato. Una volta seduti a tavola trovare i bicchieri con i segni della lavastoviglie di certo non è un belvedere (vedi foto). Camerieri frettolosi e poco professionali, esempio: portare il pane prima di servire il dolce... Per non parlare del conto non salato di più. Un caffè 3 euro, neanche in Svizzera. Lo sconsiglio.

Ambiente poco pulito, i camerieri non sanno nemmeno l’offerta del menù, ho chiesto i pesci che ci fossero nel ragù di pesce ed il cameriere non é riuscito a rispondermi. Servizio veloce, non ho dovuto aspettare molto, ma purtroppo i camerieri erano assenti, erano sempre in giro, non hanno portato né il formaggio né il pane, ho dovuto chiedere io, purtroppo personale poco competente. Nel compenso la pasta al ragù di pesce era buono, mentre la cotoletta alla milanese era accettabile. La vista sul lago bella, ma faceva un caldo assurdo, nessun tipo ventilazione.

Unlike other reviewers, our service was not bad at all and our waitress was very friendly. However, the food was really quite grim. Pieces of fish compressed together and topped with some sort of thick, mostly flavourless sauce. And fried whitebait which was inexplicably cold and slimy. Just avoid this place.

Horrible experience for dinner. Only our small group and a larger English group, so not full. Waiters were very rude to us and to our guide. Threw down the meal dishes and bread on the table. Ravioli sauce was too salty. Main white fish entree was ok. Dessert was inedible, could not even cut it with a fork. No explanation of the local amari after dessert. Felt like no one wanted to be working there, or cared about leaving a good impression with the guests.

Parto con la parte positiva dell'esperienza in questo locale... Che perlomeno non ci hanno cacciati come hanno fatto altrove per bere "solo" qualcosa .... Perché ti potevi sedere solo se mangiavi... La cameriera è stata molto gentile e ci ha fatto accomodare tranquillamente... Abbiamo preso due limonate , una bottiglia di acqua piccola,un espresso e due palline striminzite di gelato..22€... Direi prezzo esagerato... E la qualità del gelato scarsissima.... L'isola è bellissima ma nei posti dove si mangia e si beve davvero c'è da stare attenti.... Prezzi esagerati!

Mi sono fermata a mangiare con la mia famiglia ma non lo consiglio, i prezzi sono elevati per la qualità del cibo, su due fritti misti di pesce uno era gommoso, i dolci sono miseri per costare 8 euro l'uno e un caffè tre euro mi sembra una pazzia neanche al mare i prezzi sono così elevati! E anche la birra 8 euro adesso capisco perché non sono esposti i prezzi. Per quanto riguarda il servizio i camerieri sono cortesi ma non mi possono servire l'antipasto per ultimo ne tanto meno vendermi un semifreddo con amarene come bignè al cioccolato. Per non parlare del fatto che consegnano un preconto al posto del conto stesso e quindi della ricevuta. Non ci ritornerò e non lo consiglio.

L'ensamble camerieresca entra in scena: la stridula voce solista di una valchiria ucraina risponde al fuoco! Susseguirsi disordinato di alternanze tra insulti e urla stridule! La scena si chiude con il proprietario che si allontana verso la scialuppa stringendo a se un sacchetto di monetine! Sipario...fine primo atto! Papere, gatti e avventori si guardano straniti tra loro! Secondo atto: La valchiria non paga, affronta telefonicamente il proprietario mentre, urlando le sue motivazioni, sistema nervosamente i bicchieri in sala tra i clienti...lei sa l'importanza di avere un pubblico! Gli avventori si fanno sempre più piccoli per paura di ripercussioni fisiche, anche le papere hanno ripreso il largo tra le acque del lago maggiore! Nulla è più certo se non il fatto che il sabato sera è prevista l'esibizione con lotta nel fango! Il tutto corredato da 2 bicchieri di vino e una ciotolina di arachidi alla modica cifra di 16€! Che dire di più..?

Mai nella vita ho avuto un’esperienza così orribile in un ristorante. I camerieri sembravano completamente incapaci di fare il loro lavoro, non capivano una parola di quello che dicevamo e ci hanno costretti a ripetere l’ordine tre volte, con evidente confusione e incompetenza. E quando finalmente è arrivato il cibo, è stato un disastro totale. La pasta al pomodoro? Una vergognosa zuppa che galleggiava in un mare di pomodoro acido e insapore, inguardabile e immangiabile. Il pesce? Probabilmente un avanzo surgelato che puzzava di marcio, tanto da doverlo lasciarli nel piatto. La pizza, se così si può chiamare, era una schifezza secca e insapore, senza un minimo di consistenza. Gli affettati? Tagliati come se li avessero fatti con una sega, talmente spessi da essere un insulto alla parola ‘affettato’. E se pensate che la cosa peggiore sia il cibo, vi sbagliate: l’arroganza del personale e del titolare non ha pari. Quando ci siamo lamentati, hanno avuto la faccia tosta di dirci che ‘nessuno si è mai lamentato’. Una totale mancanza di professionalità, educazione e rispetto per i clienti. Non solo non ci scusiamo, ma nemmeno un minimo accenno di dispiacere. Un posto indegno, da evitare assolutamente. Mai più!”

Evitare. Il cliente viene attratto dall’offerta di un tagliere di salumi e formaggio al prezxo di 12 euro riportata su una lavagna. Apena entrati si viene però dirottati nel ristorante poco lontano sul lungo lago dove il menù è completamente diverso, prezzi elevati e nulla che somigli al tagliere di salumi offerto sulla lavagna affissa in esterno. La scorrettezza e l’atteggiamento fuorviante del personale mi ha inditto ad uscire immediatamente senza consumare nulla. Meglio evitare….

Che schifo. Mai più. Non so da dove cominciare. Forse dai camerieri, che sembravano appena scesi da Marte: non capivano una parola, sbagliavano le ordinazioni e avevano la reattività di un bradipo addormentato. Ma vabbè, uno cerca di sorvolare. Peccato che poi arrivi il cibo… e lì è finita la serata. La pasta? Un disastro. Nuotava in una pozza di pomodoro acquoso, sembrava una minestra rossa. Il sapore? Inesistente. Era tipo una punizione. E il pesce? Fresco come un pesce di plastica lasciato al sole. Molle, insapore, e con un odore che ti fa passare la fame. Siamo usciti con la fame e il nervoso. Sconsigliato vivamente. Anzi, fatevi un favore e mangiate a casa, anche due fette di pane e formaggio sono meglio di questa tristezza.

The waiter didn't sell ice cream to my wife and kid waiting patiently in the queue. He served 4 other people standing right in front of her and closed his booth with ice cream right before their noses. Gelateria located 20m up the street is a much better choice.

Terrible service — completely unacceptable behavior from the staff. We were the only Asian group in the restaurant, and we were treated noticeably worse than other customers. Every other table was served bread — we weren’t. When we asked politely, we were met with cold, dismissive attitudes. Most disturbingly, one of the staff actually pushed my friend instead of simply saying “excuse me.” Not a word of apology, just a look of annoyance. It was impossible not to feel like we were being treated differently because of our race. As Asian customers, we felt unwelcome, invisible, and disrespected from the moment we walked in. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in 2025. Whether the staff realize it or not — this is racial discrimination. I would strongly advise others, especially Asian travelers or people of color, to avoid this place. There are many restaurants in Italy with better food and, more importantly, basic human decency. If you care about being treated with basic respect, I would not recommend this place at all.

Amazingly rude staff. A staff member accused me of taking their wifi and said “No WiFi, capitto, BYE!” I was waiting there because I had ordered food from them! And I wasn’t even connected to wifi at all. Needless to say I told them “bye” as well and that I no longer needed the food. The other staff member had rolled her eyes at me in the first place so I should have taken the hint and gone elsewhere. Don’t make my mistake.

Extreme little portion size for above average pricing Hint: don't order greek salad, at first sight it looks enough but its almost only salad leaves and just a few blocks of feta and olives @the kitchen: please google the recipe for greek salad. There is no lettuce in the real one ;-)

Too bad. First, we asked for a table that was set for 4 (we were in 2) and they denied. OK, but a little bit later they gave the table for another couple. The pizza took so long we asked to verify, but the waiter was so rude saying that we asked to brig later and should wait quiet. It really took away our mood and ruined the experience.

What terrible service. Two of the rudist waiters, well if you can call them waiters! Luckily we only had drinks and the only time ever that we have not left a tip. My partner asked where the toilets were, and received a casual wave of the hand in the general direction 'of round the back'. Three more male staff round the back were even less helpful towards her. I don't really know why people like this are in the restaurant trade. If one of them is the owner, well God help them! Can I remove the one star.....!

When I saw the very low rating on this restaurant, I should have understood why and left the place. Instead, my friends and I thought we would give it a try. Well, now I know why the rating of this restaurant is probably the worst one among all. A terrible, slow, and inattentive service that does NOT deserve coperto (table service fee.) We wasted almost an hour of our day here waiting for food and when we asked when the food is coming, the waiter said "I don't know." It's your job to know. Don't go to this restaurant and ruin your beautiful traveling experience in Italy.

Warning! Don‘t go there! We got old rotten meat which was impossible to eat. When we informed the waiter about this issue he had a very angry look on his face and said we are „dumb tourists“ on Italian, which I could understand. I was so shocked and the other guests around couldn’t believe what just happened, too. A local we met on the island told us this restaurant usually has complains about meat which is very old and not eatable anymore.

This place is just near the ferry and this is the first restaurant that you see when you disembark on Isole Superiore. It was therefore no wonder that we went there. We sat down and I grabbed two menu cards as there weren't any on our table. We tried to attract the attention of the waiter. He flatly refused to serve us. He knew that we were ready to order but some how did not not want to attend us. And by the way, I had also grabbed the pizza card.He did come once to say that the oven wasbroken and that no pizzas could be made. This after, when people at a table nearby were served pizza later. We left. And we do not regret this decision.

We seated ourselves after being barely registered by the waiter. The table was still covered in the debris from the last customers' meal, and there were no table settings provided. Instead, the waiter returned and dropped some menus on the table with little more than a grunt. Atmosphere was oppressive and the menu was limited. We had decided what to order, and waited for the waiter to return, but service was achingly slow. So much so that we left before the drinks order had even been taken. Maybe the food is better than the dismal service, but we'll never know.

We visited here in the afternoon waiting for the ferry back. It took ages to make an order cuz nobody cared us and again to get our drinks. I ordered a cafe latte and was very dissapointed with it. It barely had a taste nor color of coffee. And I payed 4euros for that disgusting cafe latte.
