It's close to Fuciño do Porco. We called to reserve half an hour in advance, and luckily they had a spot. The owner was very pleasant, and the wait staff was very polite and efficient, always making sure everything was correct. The food was exquisite! We had scallops, tuna, and octopus: speechless. It was a 10-point dining experience. To top it all off, we had their torrija for dessert—EXCELLENT. We were two people, and we ate wonderfully—not too little that we were hungry, nor too much that we burst. A must-do again. I recommend it to everyone; there were couples, families, and groups, both tourists and locals. They provide unbeatable service to everyone. Although the food is the star and is delicious, the perfect service and the perfect wait between courses made our meal a great experience. The staff are more than up to scratch and are truly professional. The icing on the cake: its excellent location and views. Thank you!!!

The food was fabulous, from the homemade empanada, the red chorizo, the tomato and tuna salad, the buttery-tender entrecote, and the desserts, especially the spectacular millefeuille. The service was wonderful.

If you're in Lugo and fancy a proper seafood feast, make a note of this place: Casa Fanego. The restaurant is newly renovated; everything looks new and meticulously cared for, which immediately gives a good impression. The staff's service is truly appreciated—friendly and professional, like eating at the home of friends who put a lot of care into everything. There were seven of us, and we ordered several dishes to share: Padrón peppers, spider crab croquettes, calamari, and grilled chorizo. But the star of the meal was undoubtedly the two seafood platters. What a spectacle! Everything was cooked to perfection, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. To top it all off, we ordered a homemade cheesecake that was absolutely divine: creamy, smooth, and freshly baked. It practically melted in your mouth. It's true that the prices are a bit high, but honestly, they reflect the quality of the food and the service. It's not an everyday place, but if you want to treat yourself to some good seafood and feel well taken care of, Casa Fanego is a safe bet.

We loved it. The place is beautiful, but the food... spectacular! The homemade ham croquettes were delicious, creamy, crispy... a delight. The seafood platter was plentiful and exquisite, finger-licking good. And to top it all off, strawberries and cream for dessert. A great atmosphere and impeccable service. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful experience. Spectacular, high-quality food, from the meat to the seafood, fresh salads, and a fairly extensive wine list. The desserts were delicious, and the cheesecake was one of the best I've ever had. The service and customer care are impeccable; they always greet you with a smile. A peaceful and welcoming atmosphere and good value for money. We'll definitely be back.

We were a group of eight on a Sunday at lunchtime, having made a reservation. For starters, we ordered a half portion of bonito empanada (the pastry was thick and bread-like, different but very good), a tortilla (they asked if we wanted it with or without onion), and a portion of calamari. For our main courses, we had grilled pork, grilled cod, and bonito salad. All the food was delicious, and the value for money was unbeatable. Excellent service; the staff was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

Muy buen restaurante de cocina gallega clásica. Platos abundantes, buena preparación y servicio rápido y atento. Su bonito a la brasa es muy destacable, así como su churrasco de costillas de ternera.

Enmarcado en un entorno excepcional, es difícil comer en este lugar sin reserva. Las tortillas las hacen por encargo, o al menos eso nos dijo la camarera. Los productos son de muy buena calidad y las elaboraciones muy bien hechas, el servicio un poco descoordinado (quizás porque comimos en la terraza, al no haber reservado).

Despite the initial disappointment because the things we wanted to order on the first place were no longer available (they had had a busy lunch service), we had one of the best octopus that I have ever tried... Super soft and delicious. And all the food we had was in general really good. The portions were though too big for dinner. I know it is difficult to assess for a waiter when they get asked about the sizes, but that was definitely too much. Half the amount would have been enough in the case of the entrecotes. Also we found the water quite expensive, considering it was filtered water tap. Nevertheless, I would definitely like to go again to see if this time I have more luck and can try the ventresca de bonito (white tuna belly?).

Great bar and bistro with friendly atmosphere and good food. We ate fish - excellent prawns and fresh tuna washed down with a great bottle of the local wine Mencia.

The quality of the food is excellent, and the recently remodeled restaurant is pleasant. However, the service was subpar: we ordered a churrasco for four (one portion of Iberian pork and one of beef) and were served four in total, without warning us about the excessive amount. Furthermore, the trays were carelessly placed on the table, and I even burned myself on a hot pot without receiving any apology or attention. It's a shame that a place with such good food is marred by inattentive service. I remember this place from when I was little, and perhaps I preferred the more local space, but with better service; not all that glitters is gold. If you go with older people, access is terrible. I hope they improve!

Well, what can I say? I've been here many times, and since the restaurant changed or was renovated, it's no longer worth it. It's no longer Galicians who come here, but tourists. The prices have increased compared to the area. In short, if locals don't come here, there's a reason. The portions are meager and nothing special, and the prices are high. The cockles are salty and meager, the octopus is scarce, and the monkfish is neither here nor there.
