I love this place they switch the items if you chose not to eat process carbs and they change them to ither veggies or protein they are friendly the only annoin thing is the staff smokes cigarettes and you can smell them when they do so outside, family oriented very delicious yum yum.
Pho's okay, nothing mind blowing. I usually get something with egg noodles if I want soup. Chicken or seafood its pretty good. Now the killer, plates that they've got are the bun. Vermicelli without soup. Try the chicken with shrimp or just the chicken, either #35 or #37. It'll be like a party in your mouth with rich flavors. For everyone that gave this a bad review, try one of these and I guarantee you opinion will change. Ill put up with crappy service to have good food anytime. Just go in there with that expectation.
When I’m the San Jose area I try to stop here for pho…. It’s the best EVER and has been for years. You won’t be disappointed. I always have their #3, beef pho. There’s none better!
Love coming to this pho place. Has to be one of the best pho places in the area. The broth has a very good taste to it. The noodles are very good and not very thin like other places. Highly recommend this spot!!
Great Pho restaurant! I have been coming to it for 24 years. My kids grew up eating here on a monthly basis.
I’ve been going here for over 25 years and the quality has been very consistent. Their lemongrass grilled pork is one of the best in the Bay Area. Hands down the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Sunnyvale.
I have been coming here for years, the food is consistently great and quick. The utilitarian dining room belies a focus on quality food served with pride. Located near Baylands park and light rail, it is a place I yearn to visit anytime I am down in the South Bay. The price used to be a little more reasonable but is still about average for the area. You won't be disappointed with their #3 special combo. Ask for egg noodles for a bit more lasting satisfaction.
Just had the best pho I had in my life. Another thing that really impressed me was how they set up the tipping system. It’s 7% 9% and 11% which I thought given inflation was pretty cool. My plan is to go back to this place every chance I get.
I like beef noodles in this restaurant. Their soup is good and not so thick, so I can fully enjoy its noodle, beef, vegetables, and soup. I feel a good harmony between Vietnamese Pho and California food culture. The size is a little large. The medium size might be enough for most of people.
This review is long over due. Been coming here for about 10years. Best pho ever. Always #1 or #2 special. Must add fried shallots! Don't call it pho unless your eating it from here. We have ate pho everywhere in the bay area and down south no one compares
First eating here it was great. The pho was up to par and the service was good. Cash only place so know before you go. You can always use the on-site ATM.
Awesome restaurant I eat here all the time and they staff are always so polite and friendly. There springrolls and pho is always very tasty. It’s the best restaurant I actually have ever been to. It’s the bang for your buck!
My favorites are always the #1 and #2, the best jumbo prawn noodle soup in the Bay Area. I haven't been eating lunch at Pho Queen for quite a while. It was still clean and bright inside. I was lucky to be seated right away (it took me 30 minutes on my last visit) To my surprise, they still maintain the good services and high quantity of food. The price has gone up to $20 for large bowl of #2. Service was simple, polite and quick. I received my bowl of noodle soup within 5 minutes. As always, the chicken broth is steaming hot and flavorful, with the aroma of garlic, onion, jalapeno, and basil.
Friendly, fast pho in a simple interior setting. The vegetarian spring roll is very plain, with no taste appeal, but the dark, sweet peanut sauce adds cover to the crunch. Beef stew with noodles was loaded with lots of fatty chunks and not a lot of real chunks of beef. The tai pho is tasty, though it could use more cilantro and less cooking of the rice noodles. A lemon wedge instead of lime came with the side of bean sprouts and not spicy jalapeno slices. Service is quick and friendly and the food is consistent.
Quiet little noodle shop with a massive menu and delicious good. The staff was very friendly and responsive and easily had tables in and out during my time there.
Delicious, hot soup. I ordered the pho and finished all of it. The portion is really fair and filling. The soup was flavorful and they are generous with all the ingredients.
Solid family friendly business. Soup base was very flavorful and noodles, lean pork and seafood were a perfect match

Just won my favorite pho due to they are having their own satay sauce out without I asking, don’t know why it’s not a thing in the bay but I’m big fan of the satay sauce. Beside that their soup is good not too heavy or light. And meat in a good amount.
I discovered this place about a year ago, and we've visited about once a month, It's a really comfortable place with delicious food in big portions. It's a great place to talk and relax, I've never had a bad experience here :) Also they accept cash and card, all the other reviews must be really old because it's nothing like how it's described. There are some language barriers with the staff but their really nice, 10/10 would recomend.

Ordered veg noodles with fried tofu. Only 2 vegetarian options we fou d on the menu. Food was delicious and tasty. Nice place for lunch and dinner
It is a middle of the road place. The portions are plentiful and flavor somewhat discernible. Nothing disappointing but nothing wows you either. One thing I appreciated was the ambiance. Well lit, no smell, plenty of space between rows of tables, etc.
Pho was good, appropriately sized servings. Not as packed as it used to be but still busy. Service was quick and food came out fast. Cash only, so hit up the atm.
Good place for quick hit meal - Asian style. Tasty Phó. I usually have Phó Ga - chicken. Meat is very tender, soup is tasty not too salty, may contains MSG though. Can be super busy, check the Google page to see the peak time.
Delicious and plentiful, size of meat in the soups was great. Service was fast and dining room was open and clean. Update, restaurant was fantastic, tried a different Pho but the peanut sauce is so yummy.
The interior is pretty plain and setup for efficiency. Ate here in between games at twin creeks on a Saturday. The portions are reasonable although the chicken in the chicken and rice plate is thinly sliced so even thought there are three pieces it is not as big as it looks but cooked well not dry. Neither of us cared for the soup but the chicken, rice (big portion) and salad were good and filling. Also got Thai iced tea which was good.
Service has improved dramatically. The staff is polite and they keep the place clean. Just wish the broth wasn't so greasy and that they added more shrimp to the medium #1. Still drastically happier that I gave it another chance.
One of the best PHO restaurant in Sunnyvale Good service and peoples behavior Wide verities of Viatnamy recipes available Only Cash accepted here. Need to adopt online and card transactions Every items are served hot hot Really interesting menu with lot of verieties Mostly crowded because of famous recipes
Fast service. Clean place. #3 was a very tasty order

We came here for dinner on a Wednesday night, we got seated and helped right away. The spring rolls were good. The pho portions were large, though the chicken pho broth was not very flavorful, we had to load up our pho with sauces to get some flavor.
Decent Food, Solid prices, relatively fast service. I dont love how the food is packaged for delivery but overall its a good resturaunt, each meal is about $15-20.

Fair prices and good phō. Menu is easy to understand and service is prompt. I ordered #21 seafood with rice noodles. Everything was fresh and tasted great
Good flavor, but overpriced. $15 after tax for small seafood soup. Only tried the soup. Mainly noodles and only 2 shrimp in my soup. 3 stars overall because the customer service was not so good either. Nothing bad. It just didn't feel welcoming. They should be more friendly.
Food is not bad, serving size could be a bit better. Their "large" $15.45 pho is comparable to a regular size bowl of pho in the area. The customer service definitely needs to improve. The staff is not welcoming and the owner himself is not either. All you see is miserable faces when you walk in.
40 min waiting for my order and never came.
I stopped by this Pho spot for lunch today. I ordered the large number 13 lean well done brisket pho. The food came out fast, and I was done eating in 20 mins, so it's a great lunch spot, especially if you are in a time crunch. The food was delicious, and the serving size was a bit larger than I was expecting. However, the chili oil was pretty old on the table, and the hoisen sauce wouldn't come out of the bottle. It was crusted close. Also, the cashier did not enter the order in the register and my menu numbers did not match the receipt numbers and I was charged $1 more than the menu price and so was my friend who joined me. All in all, I would come back because of the food itself, but if they overcharge me again, then I probably won't be coming back.
Had a large combination pho here. Soup broth was good, meats were average, noodles were way too soft and a bit mushy. Parking was easy.

Good clean restaurant, service was good. This is probably more of a grievance against pho in general, but meat shouldn't just be a vehicle for sauce. Lean cuts in general don't have much flavor. Menu is pretty much the same from my childhood.

horrible service, I ordered pho combo #3 and wanted beef on the side. The waiter said no, you have to order extra side dish. I said other pho restaurant can do it why not this place? He looked at me weird expression. This will be my last time I will visit this place!
Ordered their #3 beef pho bowl. The broth tasted like warm dish water…so disappointing. We went at 6 PM so it could be that they ran out of broth and watered ours down.
There's a dearth of pho places in Sunnyvale. The food and service is lackluster, pricey as well but they can get away with it all because like I said, the area just doesn't have a lot to choose from. If you don't feel like driving to san jose/Tully area and craving pho,it will suffice.
This place is usually pretty good but i was disappointed at my last visit. I ordered a grilled chicken and shrimp rice plate and all i got was 2 very small pieces of chicken. Keep in mind this rice plate is 21 dollars (including tip)!! There are other pho places that give much larger and reasonable portions. Let’s just say i won’t be coming back.

Clean and efficient, nice staff, but yellow noodles are wayyyy too salty and undercooked. The jumbo prawns are undercooked as well. Not sure what’s the hype. Prob won’t be trying them again.
Too much MSG in the soup. They need to tone that down because that's so 1990...

Small cockroach in one of our waters. Food was average. Zero service skills and wouldn't bring us new waters after the bug in one of them.
Sanitary issue- Dirty bowl for pho. When pho was served, there was a layer of dirty black ash or something like burned stuff on the bottom edge of the bowl. It was very obvious so I told the waiter to change. Then a new bowl came and this time it has black dirty stuff on the top edge of the bowl and also a bug. Potential food safety issue and don’t know what the black stuff is. Restaurant needs to enhance sanitation.
