This place has so many things on both their menus. American and Chinese and the food is terrific. The waitresses are friendly and quick. The owner is kind and says hi to everybody. It's a big roomy place. You can have birthday parties, large groups. They have everything for children as well. It's a great atmosphere

I had their Cashew chicken Chinese food. It came with chow mein and a spring roll. Enough food for two meals. It's my favorite.

We had The Best bean soup we have ever eaten. Mike the Chef needs to market it. Our waitress was so friendly. We will stop in again when we come through Susanville

Absolutely amazing food and service. The portion sizes are enormous. The best Chinese entrée and appetizers that I have had in a long time. I will have to try other things on the menu, but they definitely have my business!

So glad Amy is back! Have made 4 visits in the past two weeks and food was really good! The portions were plentiful and tasted great. The restaurant is clean. The service was exceptional. Loved having a salad bar with many choices. Prices were better than competing restaurants in the area. You will not be disappointed!

They serve Chinese and American food. I watched a beautiful salad plate walk by on the waitress' arm. This place was busy! The waitress never wrote our order down and got it perfect? Right down to the condiments. The food was plentiful, hot and delicious!!

We had the sweet and sour pork, general tsos, pork fried rice, chicken chow mein and crab and cheese wontons. It was all really tasty and it definitely hit the spot. Our server was awesome. She brought me refills on my drink every time she walked by. It was nice on a Sunday afternoon.

Great food portions for an amazing value

Amy's Kopper Kettle Café food is always VERY VERY GOOD!! Large portions great pricing always served hot and service with a smile. My family and I have tried the multiple multiple menu options from breakfast lunch dinner and even Chinese food 😋 all delicious 😋. I know the portions are large and fill you up but I definitely recommend you save room for the rhubarb pie 🥧 😊

Great place to grab some grub! Staff was friendly, and despite being pretty busy, my food came out quick. I got the biscuits and gravy supreme (add 2 eggs and choice of meat, I picked bacon) and a waffle with strawberries. The portions were good and my order could easily feed two. Could have had a bit more gravy on the biscuits, but overall the food and prices were great, highly recommend!

I ordered take out here all the time. The food has never disappointed me their chicken wraps are delicious. And the make your own omelette is absolutely to die for. the staff are always friendly and will greet you with a smile, the food is always hot and fresh. Hands down one of the best small cafes here in town. Eat here if you want good home cooking style food.

My daughter ordered a short stack (breakfast for dinner!) And thr pancakes were bigger than hed plate. I got a Cobb salad and it was beautiful and yummy!

Great old fashion diner, great service. I had homemade egg salad on rye (fresh baked) and garlic fries. The garlic fries were very good, crunchy- but very garlicky. The egg salad was good, but I prefer sweet pickles instead of dill, but still good. Hubby had turkey open faced , which was delicious.

My family and I came here on Friday to specifically try their Chinese Food. We ordered the Egg Rolls, Chicken Fried Rice, Vegetable Chow Mein & Mixed Vegetables. We were definitely satisfied and our plates were empty. We WILL be returning ^_^

Large portions, Decent Chinese food.

The food was good. It made me think of good ole' home cookin'. It's very satisfying. My waitress, Lizzy, was very sweet and went along with all the Dad jokes. She was patient as I needed more than several minutes to go over the menu. I enjoyed this spot. It was something new for me.

Best service! Julie made my day. Our service was fast, friendly, thoughtful and personal. The food was delicious and we had everything exactly the way we wanted it, from extra ice to burnt hash browns. We really appreciate the kind personal service and good food.

This place has come a long way as far as food and service goes. The last several times has been an amazing experience. Focusing on that, id recommend stopping in. Not just breakfast or lunch but a menu for Chinese food too. Both American food and Chinese food are delicious. Service has also definitely improved. Keep it up guys! You got it right.

Today is Sunday, we just had a very unsettling late lunch. We visit here weekly and today noone stepped in to quiet these kids who were screaming at the top of their lungs the entire time we were trying to eat our food. I dont mind kids playing but the dad of these children encouraged them to behave this way. The mother of the children tried to say hey their is other ppl here. The guy said , noone should care how they were acting. At a certain point I couldn't even here my own party as we tried to talk. No manager nor server came forward to say anything. So we just left and wont be back although its our favorite place to visit when we come down to Susanville.

We finally tried their Chinese food. The sweet and sour pork, fried shrimp & sweet and sour sauce is excellent. But the pot stickers aren't cooked throughly & the meat looked weird. We ordered egg rolls and got spring rolls instead. There is a huge difference between the two. Spring roll wraps are smooth and spring rolls don't have meat. Egg roll wraps aren't smooth they are bumpy and egg rolls have meat in them..

This is only for the Chinese food portion of the menu. On our way through Susanville, we stopped at the Kopper Kettle Cafe for a bite. We were somewhat surprised that Chinese food was offered at a decidedly looking American food restaurant. Being adventurous, we opted for the Chinese. The wife's cashew chicken combo with pork fried rice, plain chow mein and egg roll. The cashew chicken was good as was the fried rice. The chow mein and egg roll were a bit oily. My order of vegetable egg foo young was okay. The veggies were well prepared. The foo young was too omelette tasting even through the weak and watery sauce. The highlight was the wonderful fluffy and tender side of white rice. I am sure we will go back, skipping the Chinese and ordering the good old American diner food.

This is only for the Chinese food portion of the menu. On our way through Susanville, we stopped at the Kopper Kettle Cafe for a bite. We were somewhat surprised that Chinese food was offered at a decidedly looking American food restaurant. Being adventurous, we opted for the Chinese. The wife's cashew chicken combo with pork fried rice, plain chow mein and egg roll. The cashew chicken was good as was the fried rice. The chow mein and egg roll were a bit oily. My order of vegetable egg foo young was okay. The veggies were well prepared. The foo young was too omelette tasting even through the weak and watery sauce. The highlight was the wonderful fluffy and tender side of white rice. I am sure we will go back, skipping the Chinese and ordering the good old American diner food.

My family and I have been to this Café a few times, we've never had a complain. Last night we went to the Cafe for dinner. It was pretty busy, when we walked in, one of the servers looked at us and loudly said "Oh, My God" as she was walking towards the line. Immediately making us feel unwelcome. I decided not to dine here with my family so we turned around. Another server followed us out and welcomed us in. We told her what happened and the sweet server said to us that of course we are welcomed. We decided to eat elsewhere. It's unfortunate because we were looking forward to a nice dinner there.

Never answer the phone for pickup orders. Tried called many different days/times. Most recent a half hr before closing sounded like they picked up and hung up. I get it dont wanna cook, just wanna go home
