WOW....this is my new favorite restaurant!!! Our meal was absolutely DELICIOUS. Grilled Veal w vegtable & whipped potatoes literally melted in your mouth! The short ribs on a bed of pasta was a masterpiece. The sauce w linguini & clams cooked & seasoned perfectly Salad with pear & goat cheese ...excellent Grilled octopus was cooked perfectly (not chewy) Apple tart w crepes...again excellent! From drinks to dessert everything was PERFECTION! If you want great food....Franina is the place!

We were there with 2 other couples and i was happy to bring 3 new people here. Joe, our waiter and entertainment for the evening was on fire unlike ever before. Every single dish was amazing from the zucchini flowers to the cheesecake.

We’ve been coming to Franina for years but I never posted anything until now. The food is excellent and the presentation is elegant and creative. Check out the Frutti di Mare. It could have been plated like most other restaurants do which is a pile of seafood on a few large leaves of romaine. But at Franina, it’s a work of art and absolutely delicious.

Had a business lunch at this Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic, well presented! We had the daily special which was the grouper and we ordered the lobster risotto. Service was attentive and courteous. Would come back anytime.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant on Long Island. the food is very fresh and high quality. The service spot on too. Victor (owners son) runs the place mostly and is doing all the cooking himself. Pete the bartender and the entire wait staff are all friendly and very helpful. The 1st picture is lobster seafood salid for takeout for Thanksgiving dinner. The wine room has regular dinner seating and also can be reserved for private parties. There also is valet parking. They also have an elaborate Italian wine list stored in their masive wine cellar. Ask for the Zucchini flowers for an appetizer it's a definite must try. But no matter what you order you will not be disappointed.

Great food and great service. Octopus was tender and tasty. Same for the lamb chops. Fig appetizer makes a great start, and the tartuffe was surprisingly good (and rich). Great place.
