My husband and I took a weekend getaway and stopped for dinner at this restaurant—and let me start by saying the food was absolutely superb. The service was a perfect 10 from the moment we walked in until we left. We ordered the butter chicken with rice, goat karahi, potato samosas, and both butter and garlic naan. Everything was incredibly delicious. We’ll definitely be visiting again whenever we’re in town. And yes… I only remembered to take pictures halfway through—sorry! ☺️
This review is independent, I do not know the place or have any interest in it. This review is based on my experiance & my opinion Got here on a Saturday afternoon, We were 3 people, had the buffet & total bill was $76.37 Food: Taste 4/5 (in my opinion) Freshness: 4/5 (the food was cold, & they turned on the buffet heating once we told them so thats a +1) Environment: 4/5 The place did get busy & good amount of people ordered stuff directly vs opting for the buffet so I think the ordered food might be fresher & tasted better maybe? Value for the money: 7/10 Overall good option for pakistani food. Not spicy.
The lunch buffet was phenomenal. Food was just the right amount of savory and spiciness. They also have really good chai and gulab jamun! My wife liked their Palak Paneer and Tikka Masala. I enjoyed the channa masala with naan and Haleem. Their beef nihari was very tender, just the way I enjoy it! The service was exceptional, and the restaurant was well-kept and tidy. There was a chair with some oil on it, but I would blame that on a messy customer instead. Overall, this place comes highly recommended by me.
I’m visiting from Ohio. I had the Haleem and I absolutely loved it! The taste was incredible—probably the best taste I’ve had in Tampa. The service and ambiance were great too. The server even gave me complimentary rice on the side.
Kabob Cafe and Grill – A True Pakistani Cuisine Experience Always on the lookout for authentic flavors, and this place delivered the best so far. We travelled all the way from Punta Gorda and the trip was worth it! The customer service and cleanliness was commendable. The buffet featured delectable variety, personally thoroughly enjoyed Chicken Tikka Masala, Beef Nihari, Chicken Biryani, Goat Korma, Haleem, and Bhagarey Baingan, Zeera rice, salad, along with mouthwatering Halwa Puri served with chana and potato curry with fresh naan and puri. For dessert, there was creamy Kheer and Sheer Khorma, perfectly rounded off with a cup of excellent mixed chai. Bravo to the family of Kabob Cafe & Grill!! Highly recommend!
I just recently tried this restaurant out, went back already within the same week if that doesn’t tell you anything, it’s really good. The food is so tasty, like nothing I’ve ever had before. I am the play it safe kind of person when it comes to food and am so picky but the butter chicken was so delicious!! The garlic naan bread was ridiculously good!! Really I keep thinking about it lol. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone! The staff is so kind too!
A little hidden but easily found with Google maps. Delicious food, great portions and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend.
My second time here and brought some friends along. Butter chicken was flavorful! The Samosas, crispy and delicious. *chefs kiss* The owners were courteous and kind.
I had an early morning dental appointment at New Tampa Dental, but it ended up being rescheduled. While in the area, I noticed Kabob Cafe and Grill had taken over the location of the old Korean restaurant and was already open at 7 AM. I decided to stop in and check it out. There were two staff members from management and a cook, all of whom were very friendly and welcoming. They offered great suggestions and made me feel at home. I tried the grits and chicken—it was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere.
Absolute gem! The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, with perfectly seasoned meats and delicious, crisp vegetables. Their sauces are incredible, and the portions are generous. The service is always friendly and fast, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. I've tried multiple items on the menu, and everything has been fantastic. This is hands down the best spot for kebabs in town!
This place was really good. We went in and tried the buffet. Lots of different dishes, everything was delicious. All employees were very friendly. There was complimentary water and tea available as well. We will be back.

On my visit to Tampa, I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant on one of my friend’s recommendation. The food is so tasty that you’ll forget the big Pakistani restaurants names from big cities like Houston, Dallas, New York, Washington…. I came for dinner but the very next day I visited again on Saturday morning to eat the brunch (buffet). There is a large variety of food options and everything is so much delicious. It was a wonderful experience visiting this place twice. The ambience is also good, the staff is very courteous, welcoming and friendly. Felt like home. I will definitely and without a second thought recommend Kabob Cafe & Grill and will not go anywhere else on my future visits. #Best Pakistani restaurant #Best Indian restaurant
This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The food tastes like home cooked Pakistani food. I was really amazed at how flavorful everything was. The family that runs this restaurants was so kind and showed us a lot of love. Very clean too! Would definitely recommend coming here if you get a chance. You definitely won’t regret it!
Visited Tampa and tried the Nihari and Goat Biryani at Kabob Cafe and Grill, and both completely blew me away. I’m usually not a big Nihari person, but theirs honestly changed my mind — rich, flavorful, and incredibly authentic. Biryani was also too good. The place has that warm, family-owned feel with genuinely kind service that makes you feel welcomed right away. It’s spotless, cozy, and you can tell they put real heart into their food and their restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next Tampa trip.
We only did a pick up order but the food was the best Indian we've had in a while. We ordered the Tikka Masala and garlic naan. The portion was generous. I could only eat half but my husband finished his and was satisfied. We will be returning here next time we drive through Tampa. Highly recommend.
Food is brilliant. Rabia just made food for our Iftar dinner and everyone loved everything she made. Delicious food, very great service and amazing people. Hands-down best Pakistani restaurant in the Central Florida area. About time we have a good Pakistani option close by. Very highly recommend recommended
I will definitely be back! Best butter chicken I’ve ever had. The garlic naan was amazing. I also shared a lamb kabab & the kabab & the sauce it came with were both super delicious. It is a family owned business. The mom, dad and daughter were all super friendly & welcoming. I can’t say enough good things!
Reading the other reviews, I will say they are spot on. Blink and you will miss it. And what sadness that would be. The food outstanding. Like, naan was used to clean the bowl. If you don't take the opportunity to try this place them you have no appreciation for hearty and flavorful adventure. Get on it! Delicious!

Visiting Tampa from out of town, I genuinely can’t express enough how excellent everything was! The food was quite literally the best I’ve ever had, the service was top notch, extremely friendly staff! Atmosphere was very clean, and they even have a dedicated prayer area! Highly recommend and most definitely will return if I find myself in the Tampa area. You will NOT regret going here!

Stopped in for the lunch buffet today and had an excellent meal. Everything is fresh, perfectly seasoned and SO delicious. My favorite was the chicken Tikka masala - unlike a lot of other restaurants, here the chicken Tikka is filled to the brim with perfectly marinated meat and a rich, thick gravy. The chicken biryani was DELICIOUS, with crispy caramelized bits of onion. Best of all? Lunch is extremely affordable, just about $24. It is so clear to me that the owner and his family take a lot of pride in what they do: the restaurant & buffet were SPOTLESS (including the bathroom), and the service was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting! You won't be disappointed!!
While looking for a breakfast spot in the area, we came across Breakfast Kitchen & More on Google Maps. However, upon arriving, we discovered it was actually Kabob Cafe & Grill a bit surprising, as we had expected a new breakfast restaurant. From the menu, we ordered the Kids Banana Waffle, Signature Protein Bowl, and Veggie Omelette. The service was average. The Veggie Omelette and Kids Banana Waffle were both fresh, flavorful, and a satisfying start to the day. Overall, a decent breakfast experience.

Dahipuri is pretty good but curry was hmmmmmm🤔I would give 3 starts at 5. But stuff are super nice and survive was fast. But I wish the curry comes with naan not rice :/ Or at least there is chose of rice or naan.me and my daughter spent around $56 included tip.
Another weekend food hunt brought us to Kabob Cafe and Grill Restaurant for lunch—and it turned out to be a decent find for those craving homestyle desi flavors. As is usually the case in Florida, parking was a breeze—plenty of space and no hassle. The restaurant itself is small with a modest seating area. If you’re expecting a high-end ambiance, this place might not impress on that front, but it’s clean and family-friendly. Kabob Cafe is a house/family-owned spot, and that warmth shows in their service. The staff was genuinely humble and welcoming. During our visit, they offered both a buffet and à la carte options—we opted for the buffet to sample as much as possible. The buffet spread was typical of similar desi places, but with a couple of notable highlights: Chicken Haleem and Beef Masala stood out. The haleem, in particular, was a hit with my wife—it had a rich, slow-cooked texture and robust flavor that made it the star of the meal. Vegetarians weren’t left behind either. The buffet included paneer curry, chole, vegetable samosas, spring rolls, and more. The paneer curry paired excellently with their soft naan and was one of the better vegetarian items we tried. The chicken biryani had a nice tangy flavor, though the chicken itself was a bit firm for our liking. Similarly, the mutton masala had a creamy, flavorful base, but the goat pieces were tough and not easy to chew. On the plus side, the chicken tandoori was well-cooked and flavorful. We finished the meal with a satisfying round of desserts: tea, pisam, and rice pudding, all of which added a nice sweet touch to the overall savory experience. In conclusion, while the overall experience was average and nothing particularly extraordinary, it was still a solid lunch outing. Kabob Cafe and Grill is worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking to try a homestyle buffet with some unique touches like their haleem. Food lovers should give it a shot at least once.
