We visited this place on the weekend, and we were quite late, so it was almost empty. They have plenty of seating space, and it seemed quite lively. We had chicken flautas and chicken nachos. It was so filling and soulful. We thoroughly enjoyed eating there, and we really loved the server; she was courteous and welcoming. We would love to visit this place again.

I love the food there the servers are always nice and it's always a good atmosphere. So I've been going there recently and it's changed they don't get my order right,and the new server had an attitude when I asked for something when the order was wrong the first time

I asked for no jalapenos on my tostadas and found several. While I can remove them (if I'm able to see them), they still leave residue that made my food to spicy. I was able to adapt a little by just scaping off the top level but that means I didn't get a "full meal" for the money I paid.

Got my free Tampa Bay Rays taco and chips, added the drink and side of queso and you have yourself a good meal, the staff is always very friendly and have the Rays game on. Good hang out for a not-so-fast food

really good food, but we got there at 830pm & they made sure to tell us they close at 9pm - so hurry. we asked if we can stay till 915pm maybe, since the food hadn't been even delivered to our table yet... they didn't answer right. BUT, the food was good, esp the taco salad!

I ordered take out. I got chicken quesadillas which came with a side of chips and salsa. The quesadillas were good. The girl working was stand-offish and not very friendly. Other than that it was a good experience

Burrito Thursday/yes Taco Tuesday/no. Use only for carry out, too congested most of the time. Parking terrible, counted six eater/drinker places within a baseball swing distance, not counting number seven around the corner. Minimal outdoor seating only ten feet away from a busy travel lane, smelled and sounded like the Holland Tunnel during rush hour. The food is better than a three so we continues to buy there.

I have been a TF fan for years and so has my wife. A definite go to and I hate posting this but the last several times I have ordered the food has never been ready. I get it, they are busy and I am.good with 5 to 10 minutes additional because things get crazy. However, my food has been 20+ minutes delayed after the either selected or stated time. They need to figure something out because it is slowly becoming less of a go to due to this.

I come to this location maybe once or twice a week. Good food , friendly people.. but legit question.... how do I order the SAME burrito EVERY time but it's NEVER made the same way. Never taste the same way. It's always different. The ones who make it right , thank you!! The ones who dont..... please guys, TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES . Care to actually make it properly and read a ricket right. 🙏

I have been coming to this location for over 5 years. Food and service is always good! The window blinds and the window tint needs to be replaced and the place really needs a good cleaning. This is the location on Linebaugh and Dale Mabry that I am speaking of. Doing an update after 5 yrs. Service is friendly but slow. Store needs a good cleaning and refresh. The windows are horrible and it is dark and dingy

I’ll humbly give this T-Flats two stars. The extra star that saved them from 1 would be the white people tacos that I can’t seem to stop ordering for 6.99. But on Tuesday, this place falls apart when they’re busy and you wait an extra 15 minutes on your food you ordered online 45 minutes. The girls here are sweet about it, but damn, who is managing this place?

We have been to this location many times over the years and have always been super happy with our meal. Today we we extremely disappointed. The chips were very stale!! So stale we didn't even eat them. One of the employees made several trips around the room talking to almost every table but ours. We were going to tell him the chips were disappointing today but he never stopped. The chips used to be craveable but not today!! I hope they fix whatever is going on.

Our meal was ruined after finally giving this location another chance and actually not being disappointed by the food. It is unfortunate that the food finally got better and there was such bad customer service!

I placed an order of literally just 3 tacos, that’s it. It took over 20 minutes for the workers to make them and the place was practically empty. I missed my entire lunch break at my job. It’s insane to me that it takes this long to fill up 3 taco shells when they aren’t busy whatsoever. Horrible experience and I will never order online here again in my life.

I’ve ordered from here twice. The first time, I ordered the taco Tuesday deal, my tacos were cold. Today, I ordered chips & guacamole, the guacamole was brown all around the top, sides and especially the bottom. It didn’t look appetizing. I went to return it to the store and received a lecture from the store manager about how avocados oxidize. Thanks captain obvious, totally aware of how science works. However, I don’t recall seeing oxidized guacamole as an option on the site. Nor is that what I added to my cart and paid for.… 🥰 hope this helps!

The kitchen forgot to make our order. It came out 30 minutes later. I asked the cashier girl if we could speak to the manager for a refund. The cashier girl cursed at me at said the manager would not be coming out to see me. The queso they gave me was cold and the cashier girl as well as the kitchen staff yelled at me and the whole restaurant could hear them talking bad about their customers. It was appalling. The manager never came out to see us and we left without a refund or finishing our food due to the fact that we thought the kitchen staff or the cashier girls spit in our food. I was actually excited to go there since I hadn’t been in a while. Unfortunately the place really does need to be shut down.

We live in Carrollwood 2 1/2 miles away from this location. We eat there all the time and it seems like lately for the least the last three or four times we’ve gone there. The food is always brought out the cold. It’s like it comes out of a refrigerator and they don’t even microwave it hot for you to at least look like they just cooked it, worse than Cold taco meat or cold burrito meat. It’s just ridiculous that you can’t get your food that you spend good money towards it to come out hot. We’re not complainers. We usually just locate each other and just eat it, but I just want everybody to know the food at all the Tijuana Flats locations that we’ve been to have been just coming out cold I just want corporate to know this so least they can change it because they have lost our family for good. I’d rather go to the taco bus and eat their tacos because at least they’re warm all these franchises are losing these taco trucks on the street because at least they cook it right there fresh and the franchises have it in the refrigerator and barely warm it up. They lost it when it comes to quality of food.

If I was given a choice between this place and Taco Bell… I would choose Taco Bell. I had eaten at this brand restaurant before in another location and it was good so I think it’s just this restaurant. Ordered two beef tacos, chips/ cheese, and a strawberry lemonade. The tacos had a weird smell and taste, it tasted like fish. One of the tacos had a stronger taste of fish than the other for some reason, and I didn’t eat that one. This probably because they using old oil or using the same oil for different tacos. The lemonade was bad too, it tasted watery like one of those kids ice cream sticks after it melts. Only got it because the picture on the menu looked “home made” but it was definitely not. The chips/ cheese were probably the best tasting thing here.

Place used to be amazing.. What happened? Everything has dust and mold growing on it.. The a/c vents drip.. The portion size has shrunk, the prices all went up, the food isnt as good and neither is the service. Id avoid all together.

Over an hour wait for an online order when it wasn’t even busy. They just kept lying and telling me it’s coming out. I’ve never even waited this long at a sit down restaurant. Nice people but unbelievably bad service.

Came in for cinco de mayo. The air conditioning was clearly broken. For a place that is normally amazing on deal, dinner was $31 for tacos and a burritos. We waited 50 Minutes for our food and it wasn’t even correct. We normally love Tijuana flats, they lost our business today.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with how disappointing my experience at Tijuana Flats was, but I’ll try to be thorough so people know exactly what they’re walking into. First off, the atmosphere. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Tables were sticky, the floors had napkins and food crumbs scattered all over them, and the soda station was a complete mess with syrup all over the counter. Not once did I see any staff attempt to wipe down tables or tidy up, even though there were plenty of employees just standing around talking to each other instead of working. The music was blasting so loudly that it was nearly impossible to have a conversation without shouting. Now let’s talk about the food—because that’s supposed to be the point of coming here. Everything tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. My tacos were soggy, the meat was bland and overcooked, and the lettuce looked wilted and brown. The rice was dry, clumpy, and flavorless, and the beans tasted straight out of a can with zero seasoning. For a place that claims to be “fresh,” nothing about it tasted remotely fresh. To make matters worse, the portions were tiny for the price. I felt like I was eating overpriced cafeteria food. The hot sauce bar, which they advertise as one of their big selling points, was a total letdown too. Half the bottles were either empty or sticky with dried sauce crusted around the caps. It looked unsanitary, and honestly I didn’t even want to touch them after seeing the state they were in. Service was just as bad as the food. The cashier was rude and acted like taking our order was the biggest inconvenience of her day. When we asked about certain menu items, she barely mumbled answers and rolled her eyes. After ordering, it took almost 30 minutes to get our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy. When the food finally came out, parts of the order were wrong, and instead of apologizing, the staff acted like it was our fault. The bathrooms? Disgusting. Dirty toilets, no paper towels, and a smell that made me want to leave immediately. If that’s how they take care of the guest areas, I don’t even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like behind the scenes. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Between the dirty environment, rude staff, terrible service, bland overpriced food, and the overall lack of care in every single detail, I will never step foot in Tijuana Flats again. There are plenty of other Tex-Mex spots that actually value their customers and serve food that doesn’t taste like reheated leftovers. Save yourself the disappointment (and the stomachache) and go literally anywhere else
