We got the Fraise et Crème Soufflé Pancakes, the green tea tiramisu pancakes and The Boeing with a sausage link. The food was very tasty but also pricey. This place is for the experience, so get the souffle and other things that they say will take a long time to cook, and that you will not be able to make yourself. Their special items are definitely special and a fun treat. The souffle was light and fluffy almost the consistency of cotton candy. The green tea tiramisu was sweet and blissful. The Boeing was a chicken sausage and eggs. However i got the dutch baby as the side and that was a delightful, having the many different textures for the fallen souffle.
I was so excited to try this place out as it has been on my bookmarked list for a while! I’ve driven by on the weekends and they always have a line out the door so if you plan on coming on the weekend, there will most likely be a wait. I came on a Wednesday around 1 o’clock and I only had to wait about five minutes Their menu can be a little overwhelming at the beginning, because they have a lot of choices that everything looks so good. They are well known for their pancakes. I love the Forget Me Not Pancakes which comes with strawberries, chocolate chips, and macadamias nuts. I also tried some of the Green Tea Tiramisu pancakes. So many to choose from. Their latte is $8 which I felt was a little expensive so that was the only downside. Their meals on average from from $15 to $25. There is parking in front and also a lot behind the building.
I was recommended this breakfast spot a few times and I could see why! It's pretty packed most of the time but we were lucky enough to get a seat once we walked in. The staff was very friendly, very helpful with the menu, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The resturant seems very family-oriented and they work in sync with one another. Definetly reccomend this resturant for people trying to have a good time.
The amount of options this place has is crazy!! However my favorite is the beef panang curry lava omelette. The meat is always super tender, the egg omelette is fluffy and the curry is never water or too thick. If you want pancakes I recommend the strawberry cheesecake pancakes the mascarpone and cheesecake whip are so delicious! Also the strawberry syrup is enough sweetness so you don’t really need to add syrup unless you really want it. Expect a long wait if you go after 9 am but if you go 12 and after the wait time goes down. The wait is so worth it from the quality to the taste.
If you’re wondering if this place has delicious food - the answer is YES! Service was great but quite slow, so be ready to wait a while to get seated. The food, delicious! It also takes a while to get your food but it’s worth the wait. This place is usually packed, and with that the service isn’t fast, so if you’re looking to grab breakfast or brunch while on a time crunch, check this place out another time. Another note - if you’re wanting to get the fluffy pancakes, be ready to wait another hour to get them served to your table.
This place is known for world class waffles and pancakes, BUT we ate here during National Hispanic Heritage Month and I was BLOWN AWAY. I legit feel like I ate breakfast in Mexico City. I had a cup of Cafe De Olla and the Desayuno Plate. I would strongly recommend coming here for before this special event is gone 9/13 - 10/19. Sorry, no food pics- just a pic of the cute menu they created for this special foodie event. It’s expensive. But worth treating yourself if you can.
The matcha pancakes were absolutely delicious. Creamy, soft, bouncy, sweet. The pancake souffle was also yummy but I preferred the regular ones more! Sister had huevos rancheros and Thai iced tea. Both very good. Staff were really sweet and fast. Parking was a lil hassle since the lot is a small one way but street parking is an option. Went on a busy morning and waited ~ 15-20 min max! Brought 2 dogs with us to sit outside on the sidewalk. Area is right on a busy road.
The Green Tea Tiramisu Pancakes are like something conjured from a dream or whispered down from a mountaintop temple, these pancakes defy the boundaries of breakfast and dessert — transcendent, ethereal, and reverent. The stack arrives swaddled in a delicate matcha cream, its soft hue a serene jade that glistens with promise. The pancakes themselves are impossibly fluffy, like clouds collapsed into form, tender with every forkful, as if the batter was folded by moonlight and silence. Not overly sweet — never cloying — they carry the grace of restraint, letting the earthiness of the green tea shine through like a slow-burning incense. A towering swirl of whipped cream spirals high, light and cool against the warmth of the stack, each bite a duet of mist and moss. Best pancakes I’ve ever had.
We got lucky and didn’t have to wait in line when we visited—no lineup at all! That said, the place was still busy inside, which makes perfect sense once you try the food. Easily one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to. I’m not sure if it’s family-owned, but it definitely has that warm, welcoming vibe. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly and clearly working hard. The menu is absolutely wild—so many options! Our server even joked that if we checked online, it gets even longer. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I can’t wait to come back and try more.
While birding in LA, we found this place and I'm happy to have found it. We will definitely be back on our next trip, the food was delicious!😋 I had the spicy chicken omelette, which was very tasty and not too spicy and tiramisu pancakes, yummy! 😋 Being that it was crowded and a long wait we decided to sit at the bar, which led me to appreciate how well the staff works as a team, they were very busy all the time we were there but in spite of that they provided great service
Cici's is a great place to get breakfast or lunch. I highly suggest to try the Loco Moco & the London Fog Latte (hot). Go for the Souffle Pancakes instead of the regular pancake options or even the french toast. Although it's small inside the ambience was great. And our waiter was amazing- I forgot to ask for his name but the service he gave was amazing. Super nice & friendly. This place is on the priceier side but it was great treat for us.
I love this place, I have been coming here for a few years now. I mainly come here for breakfast and every dish I tried so far is delicious. The portions are a decent size and the pricing is great. The service has always been perfect, they do a great job serving the customers when it’s super busy in the morning. If you come after 10 am be ready to wait over 45 minutes minimum. The best time to arrive is before 9 am wait time can vary from 15-25 minutes.
A good place to eat. Good food. Efficient kitchen staff. Food quality is good. There are two things tho that just came to my mind for doing better since I am in the same business as yours is; your extensive "18 pages" menu is a bit confusing, and second, your hardworking staff do not look so friendly. Since we are working in a service business, having a smile and making people feel "welcome" and touching tables after the food is served, would make a lots of difference. I hope you take my words in a right and constructive way. Thank you all.
Cici’s Cafe is a brunch lover’s dream! The menu is massive, creative, and full of delicious options—from sweet stacks of pancakes to savory omelets and everything in between. Portions are generous, and the flavors never disappoint. You can really tell they put effort into both presentation and taste. That said, it’s a small, cozy space and super popular, so be prepared for a bit of a wait—especially on weekends. But once you’re seated, the friendly service and amazing food make it worth it. If you’re looking for a fun, satisfying brunch spot with a ton of variety, Cici’s Cafe is definitely worth a visit!
Went for a brunch date. They were closing early, so we did have to rush. It was busy. We ordered green tea and lychee pancakes, and he got Loco Moco Benedict and drinks. He liked it. I really liked the green tea sauce, but the lychee were a bit much. Although we felt rushed, we still enjoyed our time.
I really like the Souffle Pancakes here. They're delicious. I also tried the Curry Chicken dish (I forgot the name of it). Both were extremely good. Also it's good to note that the Souffle Pancakes and Souffle Cups take about 45 minutes to make and arrive at your table and you can only order one of the Souffle Pancakes per table. So if you want something quicker, order something else. Other than that the food is great. Just the restaurant gets crowded because of how many people go and how small it is.
