Food was fantastic. I had the steak Ranchero with rice and beans and a slice of cotija cheese......the cheese was the savory version of the cherry on top!! Ice cold beer also......such a win!!

Right on the border this place is known for its carne asada nachos I drove out here just to try for myself and it was well worth it the plate itself is enough to satisfy 2 people

They have the best carne deshebrada nachos you will ever find. It's open 24/7. They staff is super nice and every plate is a huge portion.

Nice, solid, reliable, and large portions. It's been there for many years. I've been a few times over the last 20, and it's always solid. The food is always good. Not cutting edge or creative, but well made. You order at the counter, off a menu on the wall. It's similar to a san diego taco shop menu, though the 'select your protein' makes it easier to manage. They also at least sometimes bring the food to your table, though it was not busy when I was there, so that may not be constant. The patio, where most of the seating is, is fun, a bit quirky, and spacious. It's not a fine dining establishment, is a nice, consistent, reasonably priced, reliable standard Mexican fare restaurant.
