We always enjoy dining in here at Cotton Patch Cafe in the Temple Mall! I often meet my Mom or Dad here for a nice lunch and visit. The employees are like welcoming friends, the atmosphere is light and inviting, and the food is always so satisfying with perfect portions of delicious homestyle comfort food. MAKAYLA was our server, and she was just such a delight! She was so kind, efficient, humorous, and attentive! The management here is also top notch! Thank you all for yet another wonderful experience, and we shall definitely return soon! A+++++++

I, my husband, my mother in law and our 9 month old baby had an amazing time dining here! our waiter Michael was very kind and patient and made sure we had everything we needed. Michael made us feel welcomed the moment we sat down. Me and my family will never forget how enthusiastic Michael was! Michael is the prime example I look for in a perfect restaurant waiter! If He's not moved up to manger yet then he should be!! definitely will be asking for Michael when we visit again!

We were a group of 8 at 6:30 on a Saturday evening. I had the best BLT I’ve had in years. The service was excellent and everyone’s food was delicious. Most of all, they were so gracious when we stayed till 9 pm visiting because we hadn’t been together in a while. That is hospitality! I wish I could eat there every week, but I don’t live close.

We have lived in Killeen for 7 years this month and for the first time we found a place we all loved. Ordered burger with fries, turkey with broccoli rice, pork chop with butternut squash, and spiced apples, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, bacon green beans and jalapeño white gravy. The appetizer was brisket queso and chips. It was so good we were sharing with each other and we loved it. Riddick was our waiter and he was also amazing. He kept our drinks full and checked in regularly. He laughed at us when we busted out some uno cards. Atmosphere was great, music was great, a bit a country, a bit of Guns and Roses. We have found our place to go to. I can't wait to try the other items on the menu.

Shout out to Brittany and Taylor for their awesome hospitality! From the moment we hit the door til we sat down it was great. We ordered the vegetable plate, the big bend, and chicken tenders. It did not let us down. There was no wait and we got in places the order and boom it was out. Service was awesome!

We Love our Cotton Patch 💕. Amazing lunch and Dinner special. Our favorites are Mon and Tue for Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken w/Jalapeño Gravy. Amazing Delicious home cooked meals. 👍👍👍👍👍 Top it off there Large portion plates with 2 sides of choice for Only $9.99 😃👍👍👍👍👍😋 We've been all over Temple and Belton area and can't find a More Delicious and loved plate except here. I don’t eat meat so it’s hard to find good food that I can actually enjoy but baby when I tell you the Cotton Patch in Temple Mall did not disappoint I mean just that. I had the best and I do mean the absolute best fried mushrooms that I have ever had. They also have an all vegetarian meal on the menu. My husband had the chicken fried steak meal and it was cooked beautifully. The chef came out and greeted us and our waitress was a pure delight. If you ever have the chance and just need some good comfort food this is just the place. Thanks for your awesome service .

We usually do takeout, and usually the food is excellent. A few nights ago tho, I ordered the small chicken fried steak. Usually the steak is thin and tasty. This time the steak was thicker and chewy, and more breading than steak. Also no gravy. It was a very busy night, hopefully next time you guys will do a better job!

I had never been to a Cotton Patch Cafe before moving earlier this year to a home that has me driving past this location as part of my commute. I have had people tell me for years to have a meal at a CPC, so during my move into the new house and having my kitchen set up, I gave it a try. The best way I could describe it, is being along the vein of Cracker Barrel, or maybe Cheddars (two of my other favorites, because I'm old.) The menu isn't complicated, the portions are satisfying, and the prices aren't out of reason for a sit-down meal without a lot of frills. The service here is pretty good, and the food is good enough that I've been back a half dozen times or so. This is solidly one of my favorite places because of its proximity and overall value. This place is a great option if you want a good meal without the lines and wait of other eating places. When the hotel next to this place is opened, I expect this place will blow up with travelers, so enjoy this hidden gem while you can!

First time visiting this establishment. Greeted promptly and seated. Waitress, Makayla, was quick with drink order and provided excellent suggestions and responses to inquiries. Makayla was attentive without being overly attentive (something I personally appreciate). Food arrived promptly and hot. Fried mushrooms were on-point. Chicken fried steak with jalapeno gravy was amazing. My friend said his fish basket was really good. Will definitely return if I find myself back in Temple.

First time here! Kirkland was amazing and beyond helpful. The food was fresh and hot. The appetizers were great all the way to the fried green tomato and deep-fried bacon. We just moved from an area that is known to throw green ones away! The funnel cake fries were a great end to the day. The only negative it the tables could really be cleaner. The tables really are only as clean as the rag is.
