Prepare yourself for a serious food coma after dining here! Although the menu may seem a bit pricey (we spent $50+ for two burgers and fries), the portions are generous and you will leave feeling completely satisfied. Roam offers a unique experience as it is the first burger joint my husband and I have visited that offers vegan cheese options. This was especially exciting for us since my husband recently discovered he could no longer eat dairy and thought he would never be able to enjoy cheeseburgers again. Initially, we were skeptical, but after selecting the vegan cheddar and whole wheat bread, he was pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoyed the taste of his burger. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich which was served with marinara sauce and reminded me of a chicken parmesan. If you're someone who loves customizing their burger and enjoys a lot of options, Roam is definitely worth checking out!

Service was mixed to start. Since it was our 1st time we were a bit slow. Without much of a word the 1st cashier walked away but a much personable cashier took her place. I like the fact that we had hamburgers patty choices. I had the fry-fecta, French n' fries burger, and salted caramel shake. Everything tasted good and would order again. Fries were a bit over salted but cooked just right. Would like to come back and try other burgers and salads.

veggie burger was very good would recommend to everyone, whether they eat meat or not. the sweet potato fries were much better than the russet fries, a kids size is more than enough for one person. love that they have the option for a lettuce wrap instead of a burger bun as it was a much lighter alternative.

Roam is a solid and consistent spot for burgers, has the mom and pop creativity with the corporate consistency. I will always praise their zucchini fries, as they are literally addictive. Always delicious and cleanly presented. I do enjoy that they have their seasonal menus come and go, as you don’t see that too often in burger joints. Counter service makes it nice and relaxed and for the whole family or a solo meal. As this is not a hidden gem, you know what youre gonna get here.

Stopped on a whim for a late lunch. Sat at the bar. Beautiful, wide marble (?) counter. Sat for almost 10 minutes while staff chatted amongst themselves and brought random orders out of the kitchen. Had to go to the register to order. After lunch arrived, had to wait another 5+ minutes to ask for utensils while more chatter took place while making what looked like base for chocolate shakes. Got the Tavern burger, russet fries, and a root beer. Burger was pretty good. The fries are some of the best you'll find in town. The fries are good enough to go back for all by themselves. I watched what looked like a deconstructed s'mores dessert get hand made and looked amazing. Kitchen torches are for more than Creme Brule!

Went to San Francisco today and spend most of our afternoon there. Was craving burgers so ended up at Roam Artisan Burger. Ordered the Bison Burger with cheddar cheese, spicy chicken strips, Brussels sprouts, and sweet potato fries. First off, the spicy chicken strips—while scrumptious—were a tad on the expensive side for just three pieces. $4 per piece? Come on, man! But I must say, each bite was bursting with flavor,, and they were definitely a treat. The Bison Burger itself was delicious, with the cheddar cheese adding a nice touch. However, the patty was on the smaller side; I think a half-pound patty would do better justice to the price. One of the highlights was the Brussels sprouts. They were amazing with their mix of toasted sesame oil, lime, cilantro, garlic, and red Fresno chiles—it was a refreshing twist that I thoroughly enjoyed. The sweet potato fries were also a hit, providing a lovely balance of sweet and savory flavors. On a brighter note, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more pleasant. All in all, while the food was delightful and the service was stellar, the portion sizes and pricing left something to be desired in terms of value for money.

I came here because it was recommended for a great burger, must say it was good, not great. I ordered the Heritage, and there was a jalapeños relish, which I was sold on, but I could not taste it on my burger. My buddy had ordered the Tejano, which had the relish as well, and he couldn't taste it either. The sweet potato fries were good, so were the zucchini onion haystack. Over all its a good place to relax and if you drink have a beer and burger or order one of there house made sodas.

Somebody told me that here they had the best milkshakes I'm in San Francisco but they don't :/ they are just regular shakes. The hamburgers were delicious though. But the sweet potato was for me the best of all. Really good service and is super fast.

Came here for lunch and left with mixed feelings. I had the seasonal mango chicken burger and a soup. the soup was the highlight: creamy, flavorful, and well seasoned. The burger, on the other hand, was disappointing. Despite having plenty of ingredients, it lacked flavor and felt below average overall. The place is spacious with lots of seating, so finding a table isn’t an issue. Just wish the food matched the potential of the space.

My buddy and I went here after work. We were told they had great burgers and that the beers were great as well. I don't drink, so I can't commit to it. The burgers were not as great as someone had said. In fact, they just were not juicy. We both ordered different burgers but had the same jalapeño sauce, which neither one of us could taste. The zucchini twists were the best part of the meal. Definitely won't be going back. Thumb down.

Best part was when I got to my car and opened the burger to find that the ONLY topping I ordered, the relish, was nowhere to be seen. You'd think they'd pay attention when someone's paying $22 for a burger. Never ever ever again. Pay 30% less down the street at Shake Shack and it's better food.

C'mon people, you actually like these burgers / sandwiches? We ordered a classic, a fried chicken sandwich, and a bison burger, along with fries and a zucchini onion haystack. ALL of the food was MEDIOCRE at best, with the haystack standing out as inedible. Nothing was worth having again. This is our second time trying this place and we were equally disappointed the first time. The food is boring, the service slow, and the prices stupidly high for what you get. We were unanimous in concluding we will not be coming here again. Much better quality, flavor, and service can be found at this price and lower at other burger places.

I would never recommend coming here. I went here on a first date, which actually went pretty well while we were at the restaurant, but took a downhill turn later but that's besides the point. This was an experience where the food tastes great going in, but clearly some ingredients were just smothered in sauce and spices to cover up their spoiled quality. The following morning after dining at about 7:30pm I had to use the toilet a total of five or six times with some of the stinkiest doo doo I have had all year. I know for sure it was from their food since that was the only meal I had after 3:00 p.m. that Friday and Saturday morning was when the doo doo camping knocking at my back door. But it wasn't just the food that was low quality, the service was pretty bad. The young Latina cashier gave me attitude when I asked how my outfit looked, not in a flirtatious manner either, she had complimented my date's outfit so I asked how mine looked. She just grimaced and did not respond. Also, she closed the tab when I had specifically requested to keep it open while we were dining. We were planning to add one or two things to our order and didn't want to pay extra tax. Additionally when I got up from my seat to order a drink, she was at the register, made eye contact, abruptly turned around and pretended to pick something up before scurrying into the rear of the restaurant. When I did order the beer I thought was on tap, the other cashier informed me that it was dry & instead offered a can. This would have been fine if the can was chilled, but it was room temp. At that point idk why a chilled can wasn't offered. The food was presented in an appealing way, however there's no meal deals and everything is priced individually. The customer service of this business definitely needs better professional training to accommodate unexpected circumstances, like running dry on tap, appearing friendly, and serving expired food. I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone come here to dine in. Perhaps takeout or delivery is superior at this joint. I did see a number of doordashers come by to pick up while we sat. $73ish dollars for a shake, fries, two burgers and two beers was pricey. Anyways that's my ten cents! If you do try Roam artisan burgers I hope your experience is not the same.
