Love Sultan! She was so attentive and let us have a leisurely dinner as my friend and I caught up on each other’s lives. Love the food and the atmosphere! Sultan shared with us that we ordered her faves, the Chilean Sea Bass, the Risotto Alla Osso Buco, and the sticky Toffee Pudding. I love when the server shares their favorites!

Dinner with a Toddler at The Barrel Bistro As regulars at The Barrel Bistro, we’re always impressed by the warm and consistent service. During our recent visit, our server Ibo was incredibly patient and attentive, making dinner with a toddler a breeze. He brought everything promptly, helped with a high chair, and checked in just the right amount without hovering. We also want to give a shoutout to Cleo and Sutan, who always make us feel so welcome. The food was delicious as always, and the relaxed atmosphere made it easy for our little one to enjoy the evening. Highly recommend for families!

We’ve been coming to this place for years but after a recent meal I realized they deserve a rave review. Consistently amazing servers, truly leaning toward fine dining level of care and unobtrusive service. The food is never anything short of delicious and I really enjoy that they’ve been switching up their menu even more frequently. Recently I went for Sunday brunch and treated myself to the wild boar goulash. I am a huge wild boar fan, admittedly, and this was nothing short of heaven. Cooked perfectly with delicious herbs and a crusty sourdough to absorb the craveable juices. Took me right back to Florence and some of the best meals I’ve eaten. I asked the chef to use boar in more dishes (craving a wild boar pasta creation). Highly recommend!

This place has quickly become a family favorite great for any occasion. The food is always on point and the service great. Our server Gigi was attentive and made our experience celebrating a friends birthday special. Great place for casual or special occasions. The atmosphere is laid back but upscale. It could get a little loud inside but you can opt for a cozy spot outside under heated lamps and live music.

Great cocktail - loved the Lychee Martini. Cleo behind the bar was lovely with great recommendations for dinner. I had the tuna tartar and feta salad. Sticky toffee bread pudding to put me over the edge in the best way. I’ll def be back. Amazing service on a busy night.

Fetit made the best espresso martinis my friends have ever had in their lives! The craftsmanship was superb, perfectly balancing the alcohol and fresh brewed espresso, with an exquisite creamy foam topped with cocoa powder and freshly toasted marshmallows. I had a virgin lychee martini and did not miss the alcohol at all. He was super attentive, always topping off our waters and eyeing us to see when we wanted another round, but never invasive or intrusive in any way. He gifted us a wonderful evening of conversation and camaraderie, the perfect end to a day of team building.

We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary at the fabulous Barrel Bistro Wine Bar. We were greeted at the door with a smile. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The restaurant ambience is beautiful. The Christmas tree was lighted next to the flaming fireplace, which was so warm and cozy. We were seated at a very nice window table. We had the most delightful waitress Serpil. She was so nice, tentative, with exceptional service. Our appetizer, entrees were fantastic.Compliments to chef! We were particularly impressed with the depth of flavor in our appetizers and entrees. Each dish was expertly seasoned and presented beautifully. At the end of our dinner, Serpil surprised us with a delicious custard dessert. Thanks to everyone there who made our Anniversary more special and our dining experience so memorable. We will definitely be back again soon!

The drinks were superb and the atmosphere was calming and had an elegant level of class. My recommendation is to order the espresso martini! Will definitely come by again when we’re in the area!

We were here on a Wednesday evening- place was busy! But, we had a reservation and were seated promptly. We decided to sit at the bar and glad we did. Fethi, the bartender, was super nice and treated us well. We had the cheese and meat board and the prosciutto flatbread- all were delicious!! The wine was great and while I was contemplating, Fethi offered a sample of one of the wines: sold! He made a great old fashioned for my BF and we all left very happy. I definitely will return.

Stopped by here after work on a Thursday a couple weeks ago with a coworker to grab a drink! Got seated right away at ~5 at the bar. We both grabbed the espresso martini, after seeing so many vids about it online. Was it delicious? Yes. The service was also great; however, the price was a bit steep for me. After tax and tip, the drink came out to $25 soooo come at your own risk.

I came for the espresso martini, and it did not disappoint it was awesome!!! Such a good martini. I think the restaurant itself was overwhelming. Very large and sooo many workers, which is great as they are attentive and helpful. We had a little seating mix up and they helped to solve it very quickly. The bartender we were with even got us an extra margarita that he had made, which, honestly we aren’t huge margarita/tequila people, but this is one of the best margaritas we have ever had! Again, loved the service. Their menu is large/extensive and pretty pricey, as were the drinks. Was it worth it to try the espresso martini? Yes. Would I come back to get it, maybe if I was in the area but probably not seek it out. My biggest problem was the overall vibe of the restaurant, we just did not love it for some reason and I do think it’s because it was loud and just a bit overwhelming for us, but the bar and the drinks are 5/5.

I had visited this restaurant once before and enjoyed it, so I was excited to return with a few friends. Unfortunately, my second visit was overshadowed entirely by the behavior of the hostess/manager, Cleo, whose conduct was noticeably below the standards one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. When we arrived, Cleo offered us a choice between two adjacent tables. We selected the slightly larger one, as we tend to order widely and share dishes. A minute later, she returned and abruptly asked us to move to the smaller table. This was puzzling, considering we had reserved at 4 PM specifically to avoid crowds, and the restaurant was nearly empty, with multiple tables of all sizes available. No one was ever seated at the larger table, so one of our party asked Cleo to clarify the reasoning. Her explanation was thin, something about a reservation that failed to arrive, and did nothing to justify the earlier disruption. More troubling was her attitude. Rather than listening, understanding, or providing empathy, she became instantly defensive, argumentative, and dismissive. The conversation quickly made it obvious that professionalism and hospitality were not her strengths. Cleo's demeanor lacked the refinement and poise expected in a manager. It felt amateurish, out of place, and frankly beneath the standard the restaurant otherwise seems to strive for. My group and I were unanimous in finding her approach tacky, unnecessarily combative, and ill-suited to her position. We proceeded with our meal, ordered generously, enjoyed several rounds of drinks, and tipped our server well. Yet as we were leaving, Cleo made a thinly veiled passive-aggressive remark thanking us “for spending so many hours dining with them.” Given that we were nearly the only party in the restaurant for most of our visit, and had spent nearly $500, it was an unprofessional and petty parting remark. Overall, the experience suggested a lapse in professionalism and hospitality. The restaurant itself has much to offer, but as long as it is represented in this manner, I cannot confidently recommend it.

I ordered a lobster risotto priced at $42 and a chicken parm at $38. For those prices, I expected a higher level of execution, balance, and refinement. Unfortunately, the dishes did not justify the cost. The lobster risotto in particular was a major letdown. The lobster was significantly overcooked, and the dish itself did not resemble a traditional risotto in texture or preparation. It was overwhelmingly heavy—approximately 95% cheese—with little balance, depth, or rice integrity. At $42, this felt especially misaligned with both quality and value expectations. I don’t mind paying higher prices when the food, technique, and experience support it. In this case, the pricing suggests a level of culinary care and precision that simply wasn’t reflected on the plate. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as there is potential here, but the execution and pricing need to be better aligned to meet guest expectations
