Went for brunch, had a DJ Playing 90s hip hop and upbeat music. Vibe and decor were very cool. Drinks and beer were fairly priced and impressive. Bartenders were friendly and engaging and our server was attentive and friendly. Based on the neighborhood I expected it to be overpriced and underwhelming, but I was pleasantly suprised!
My husband and I came here for a bunch and really enjoyed our food. Their pancakes are huge, the chicken salad was yummy and the Espresso Martini was delicious! My husband enjoyed his steak sandwich as well. Service was overall good. Our server seemed busy and it took awhile to get our drinks plus we had to wait awhile for our check. But most of the staff was dialed in. The atmosphere is fun and stylish. We look forward to going back.
Brunch review: Get the Spicy Chicken and Waffles sandwich: It is absolutely excellent, super flavorful with just a hint of spice! The Steakhouse Benedict is also very very tasty. Uncle Niks Potatoes (side dish) is great, especially if you get a side of hollendaise to pour over it for a little extra yum. As for drinks, the Blood Orange Paloma is sooo good!
Took my girlfriend for her birthday and we were pleasantly surprised to find a birthday card, signed by all of the staff, at our table. The drinks we ordered were well crafted and the food was great. The steak was cooked perfectly and every part of each of our dishes had amazing flavor.
Wow, what a gem of a restaurant in the middle of all the foodie treasures in the area! Boss cat Kitchen & Lounge is beyond special. The flavors of delectable food, their brunch, their brunch (had to say that twice) the whiskey! All come together impeccably. Definitely get out and spend some time at Bosscat. You won't be disappointed by anything you order! The atmosphere is speakeasy fun and light all at the same time. Staff is absolutely helpful and friendly in every way. Who knows, maybe I'll see you there! Thank you Bosscat!!
The place was stunning-like stepping into a living art piece, where every corner flips the script on the vibe. Tucked-in booths felt intimate, almost secret, while the open spots buzzed with that electric hum. Food? Spot-on. We got sugar barrel steak … it’s not sweet or anything . Medium was perfect Katt was great
I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and it’s hands-down my go-to spot. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. My bartender Joe is the best—he always greets me by name and remembers my drink order, which makes it feel like home every time. Great service, great people, and always a good experience!
Excellent! 5 out of 5. When I saw they had Noah’s Mill available, I knew they were serious. To eat I had the amazing 12hr short rib with roasted potatoes followed by one of the best Fried Apple Pies I have ever had. Service was amazing. Rose was always available, helpful without being intrusive, and provided great guidance on the menu.

We love to sit at the outside bar! The patio is wonderful and happy hour is great! We love the burger and fried pickles. Their cocktails are one of a kind and my husband even loves coming back just for one of his favorites, The Bosscat. We’ve always had great service and felt greatly taken care of.
Came for dinner with the family. David was our service was so kind and patient with us! We ordered drinks and appetizer to start. The blood orange Paloma and pineapple elixir were AMAZING! The corn fritters were yummy. For the table, we ordered a ribeye, burgers, and an avocado salad with a side of Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were so sweet! The burgers were so delicious and the fries were cut fresh potatoes. The green beans and baby potatoes with the steak was so good too. The table favorite was the apple pie! You won’t regret it!!
This is my go to place for food and drinks! The bartenders there are so nice and amazing! Andrew is hilarious and awesome! The servers there are just as on point, Gabby and Kat are top notch and funny! They have live music on Thursdays, wish they would bring back live music on the weekends! Overall it's a must go place!
Very cool place! Loved the vibe! The food was excellent and Lexi our server did a great job. We sat at a high top (stools without backs) but it was still really awesome! The fried pickles were extra delicious - can you make a dinner of them? We found parking very near and throughly enjoyed ourselves! Both our dishes were excellent! No room for dessert and they looked HUGE! It’s on the repeat list - lots more yumminess to try!
We went for a birthday lunch and it was all around a great experience. I ordered a pig candy starter and a lunch special 2 for $24 with the cajun shrimp skewers and citrus pasta. The pig candy was very delicious, the cajun shrimp skewers were pretty good, and the citrus pasta was very tasty. Everything was in good proportions, although the pig candy was slightly too small to share. Gabby I believe was our server and she was great, she was nice, patient, helpful, and came around a few times to make sure everything was good. Inside the restaurant was very nice ambiance and lots of libations decorated the walls. Overall it was great and I would come back again soon.
Cute brunch spot in The Woodlands. They had a DJ that set the vibe and food and drinks were enjoyable. Service was friendly and prompt.
Service and bar staff were great. Hostess was most welcoming. We ordered three happy hour draft beers and a chicken dip with chips. Not a fan of the dip. Chips were super tasty. Beer was cold.
We were in The Woodlands for the weekend and found this place to have a drink and share a plate. The atmosphere and the place itself were great. And the outdoor seating was very nice. I thought the food was good, but the service and the place were the main attraction. Though if you are a fan of dark beer the Old Rasputin was really good. The burger was ok. The beignets were a nice way to finish off our drinks and our evening. We would come back? Yes, for the atmosphere alone.
My husband and I went for the first time on Sunday. We were immediately greeted and asked if we had reservations. We didn't have reservations, but it wasn't an issue. We were immediately seated. We ordered the beignets, short rib chillaquiles, and chicken and waffles burger. The beignets were delicious. They came with a lemon custard to dip in. We really enjoyed those. I had the waffle burger. It was great. The waffles were absolutely delicious & the fries were fresh and crispy. The only complaint is that the burger was a bit dry! My husband had the short rib chillaquiles. I tried them, and I was not a fan. The sauce tasted like something you would get at Taco Bell. I am Mexican, so I know chillaquiles. These were not it. There was also barely any meat on the chillaquiles. I highly recommend you try something else. The price seemed on par with the location/ascetic. I would definitely go back and try other meals. Our server was great, friendly, fast, and attentive to detail.
Bosscat is a California chain with a vibe like an eclectic living room. The food is a mixture of subtle twists on classics that sometimes hit and sometimes miss, but just going for the unique atmosphere and great cocktails may be enough reason to give it a try. Replacing the old Berry Hill Mexican Restaurant, they kept the mixture of indoor and outdoor dining, but only a little else is recognizable. I've eaten here five times, and the service has ranged from excellent to "ok." They have a bank of TVs where you can watch sports, and the bar is usually pretty full. I'll keep going just for the brunch "Flapp Jack" (banana + almond protein pancakes) and to hang out at the bar. The main attraction here is the vibe and great booze.
We went for a work meeting with a table of 6. Our waitress was fantastic and gave great recommendations. I had the steak which unfortunately was so salty with the butter on top that I could only eat half and it was overcooked. (I asked for med rare). The banana pudding doesn't have any vanilla wafers, just crumbles on top, so I would actually recommend getting the apple dessert instead. My drink was great. My coworkers enjoyed the tomato basil soup and filet of fish. Short rib was good but the dish was over salted. Brussel sprouts were also salty.
I was really looking forward to trying this place--my husband and I love whiskey bars, and the decor here is absolutely on point. It has a warm, Texan whiskey lounge vibe that feels both rustic and upscale, which immediately drew us in. We sat at the bar and ordered the House Old Fashioned and Avocado Toast. Unfortunately, both fell short. The Old Fashioned was just okay--nothing memorable--and the avocado toast was extremely plain. For a restaurant, I expected something a bit more elevated; it honestly felt like something I could've easily made at home. We also had some sliders, which were not memorable. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. Our bartender seemed disinterested and disengaged, which added to the overall lackluster feel of our visit. We really wanted to love this place, but sadly, neither the food, drinks, nor service lived up to the ambiance. It has great potential, but right now, it's more style than substance.
Restaurant temperature was probably 50 degrees, my wife and I were shaking cold the entire time which made dining in the restaurant miserable from the time we first sat down. This was then followed by disgusting food. We ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were overly coated with maple syrup making them extremely bland even though I’m sure highly caloric. Ordered the sugar barrel steak and it came with a lump of some type of butter mixed with lemon herbs plaster everywhere on top. The concoction tasted like ear wax. Sent the steak back and asked for one without that butter mixture. Steak returned with absolutely no flavor at that point. The green beans that came with it tasted like sucking on a salt shaker. And the potatoes were dry and salty. Service was fine until it got busy and then wait staff went MIA for long periods of time. Stay away from this place. Much better dining options in town for what this place charges for food.
