A five star experience. We found the place by chance but the food, ambiance and service are really unique. We ordered the menu of the day which allows you to choose a first and main course, and dessert. I ordered the sopa castellana and the flavour kept on exploding with each spoonful. The carcamusas toledanas were also memorable. My husband had the godorniz and it was its own distinct flavour. We had the tarta de queso for dessert and just yum. Highly recommended

Yum! Want a local food and found this place. The Oxtrail is super soft and Callos (Beef tripe stew) is crunchy over the garlic soup. Both taste excellent!

We didn’t have a lot of time before our train left so we entered the first restaurant that we saw on the street and we didn’t really expect much. But our expectations were definitely exceeded, the food was so delicious, very traditional, the waitress recommended some delicious dishes, they gave us some drinks on the house and we left very happy, full, and early for our train. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Nice place. Found by chance while walking around the jewish quarter in Toledo. Appetizers were very tasty, but the main dish (cod) was very salty and chewy. Deer stew was just ok. Had to stop just with appetizers: Spanish omlete and tapas plata.

One of the best places to eat in Toledo. Great local cuisine with local stews and dishes. Other Spanish dishes like paella available. Interior like a small village square with tables nestled inside. Boisterous cook and fast service. Definitely worth a stop when visiting Toledo. Book ahead as the places fills up quickly, reservations required.

We had a very good mixed paella, beers and Toledo stew that was a bit salty. All in all, we enjoyed our lunch. The place is not too small, so we didn't need reservations.

Nice restaurant, the food is okay, they served the food quite quickly, I think the price per value isn’t well balanced (I.e. too expensive for what you get) I did like my portion of deer meatballs, the paella was nice

Really kind and welcoming customer services. The chef/owner gave us water and welcome wine. The food was however, not the best. We got the mixed croquettes, which was nice, but the vegetables paellas and the seafood paella were not the best. And they were 15€ each. It was at best 3 stars. But the customer service was nice. :)

The food wasn’t tasty. Period. Tapas weren’t great. The Gaspacho soup and Bacalao fish had some spice in them that I couldn’t bear. To be fair the deserts were Ok. The rest (the staff and atmosphere) was ok, but the food quality-price ratio wasn’t worth it for me. I would never go back and thus I don’t recommend the place.

The owner, I presume, gave us a warm welcome and a free glass of wine (to those who wanted it). We didn’t have a reservation, but were seated immediately. At all the tables, a fancy bread roll was already set for each person (psst, they’re not complimentary). The menus have English, which is always very helpful. I ordered the salad with manchego cheese. It was not cheap at €9. It came out looking quite substantial, but in reality, the majority of the salad was just bitter leaves. Upon paying with credit card, the owner(?) selected the payment to be done in USD instead of EUR without asking us, and then he had the balls to say that it was paid in euros (my dad checked on his app and saw that it was charged in USD). The service received was friendly throughout, but this kind of soured it. Just be careful if paying with a foreign credit card.
