I was pleasantly surprised to find this in Tomball. The food is delicious and well prepared. It’s a little small inside and looks like a very popular place for happy hour. It gets crowded very quickly around happy hour on Friday. If you plan on visiting, try and make reservations or get there very early. The menu is a pleasant change from most places near by and worth the wait.

My husband and I dined her for lunch for the first time. We had the “build your own liter mimosa” the blueberry lemon flavor was my favorite! We had the Grilled Pulpo as an appetizer. The octopus was perfectly charred. I had the goat cheese wood fired pizza and my husband had the shrimp and grits. Both were delicious and so flavorful! We sat at the “chef table bar” and were able to watch the cooking. It was a nice experience. The services and chefs were very friendly! We can’t wait to return!

Boy did we love this place! I don't know how we hadn't heard about Bonfire Grill before. But I noticed it one day when we were in Tomball and checked the menu. It was really intriguing. A very varied menu with lots of interesting options. So we decided to try it a few weeks later and...wow! Small place, very intimate and cozy. Does have an outdoor dining area also. The food was amazing. The drinks were fabulous! I'm a Cosmo lover and my husband had a smoked old fashioned. There's also a happy hour menu, and Thursday is ladies' day. Definitely give it a try.

We went for dinner and loved every second. The service was phenomenal, our waiter was very knowledgeable. Great wine selection, great recommendations! The food was perfect. From appetizer to dessert, not one complaint. We got the Diablo pasta and the beef short rib. There wasn’t one piece of seafood in the pasta overcooked and the short rib was melt in your mouth! The only complaint we had was not being able to order every item off the menu (especially the pork tomahawk, it looked unreal)! We will be back. Great date spot.

Our first time visiting and everything was absolutely delicious. We were seated near the chef’s table so we could watch all of the action, which was a nice touch. Jamie, our server, was very accommodating and offered fantastic suggestions. Cocktails were on point and food was superb. We highly recommend!

This is a great restaurant that my wife and I enjoy coming to from time to time. Their hand-tossed pizzas are made in a wood fired stone oven and are delicious, but my favorite has to be the meatballs, which are two fist size meatballs that are wonderful. The service is always great. The bartender is always on time and makes great drinks. So if you're in Tomball, stop by and give this place a try.

Nice little spot in Tomball. We had a delicious risoto and a grilled chicken. Waiter forgot our appetizer but it is ok. Chocolate cake was really good as well. I didn’t like the $12 for a pint of IPA, it seems New York prices for a Tomball restaurant… why an Elysian IPA cost $12?

After years of saying "we need to try that place" we finally visited Bonfire grill last Saturday. Place was a lot smaller that I expected but luckily we were able to get in without a reservation. Packed house so we ended up sitting at the corner of the bar which turned out to be awesome. We literally watched them cook all of our food (plus everyone else's). Fresh and tasty food, with excellent presentation. Something for everyone on the menu and even though I thought it was a little pricey I felt like you got what you paid for. Cody was our waiter and was great. Nicely located in quant downtown Tomball, parking was easy and you can walk to lots of other places and shops. My only complaint was I thought the to go boxes could have been a little bigger (especially considering they serve pizza), and the water glasses were too small so we were always waiting on the waiter to refill them. Minimal complaints but than that is was great. Great option for a date night of if you are just looking for excellent food in Tomball

Always like trying new restaurants, so Bonfire Grill was a nice change in Tomball. We liked their crab & shrimp fondue appetizer. Their beef burgundy had a great flavor with carrots and mashed potatoes and tasted great. My wife had the oven fired meatball appetizer, which she liked. Finished with a piece of keylime pie. Definitely will come back.

Pizza was delicious and hummus was amazing, not enough bread to go with it but they did offer to get more! Drinks were strong but I feel like the old fashion was missing something, that didn’t stop me from getting 2 of them. Will definitely be back!

We ordered the deviled eggs - really not good. The brisket on top was actually some kind of sausage that had just come out of a fridge. The pizza crust wasn’t quite done enough but tasted much better than the deviled eggs. Our waiter had to also bus tables which seems like way too much work for one person.

Greatvlittle restaurant with a good wine and beer collection. Went at appetizer time....after 3 before 4. So choices were minimal. Baked Brie and fig jam was decent. Quality of brie was not great. Had a meatball pizza. Sauce and dough were tasty but again cheeses were not. Enjoyed the creme Brule but the key lime pie tasted more like cheesecake and the whipped creme tasted heavy with the texture of cream cheese. The crust was very good. It definitely was not worth $14 nor was the meal at $80. Wouldn't return.

If you are less than a party of four, I advise against visiting this establishment. They often seat patrons at small tables or force them to sit at the bar. When we inquired about the possibility of obtaining a larger table, the hostess provided an extensive explanation of their inability to accommodate our request. We arrived at 9 p.m., and the establishment closes at 10 p.m., yet they could have easily accommodated our request. The food was mediocre at best. The service from our waiter was subpar. We had to request that the manager assist us with drink orders, as he consistently failed to return to our table at the bar. The manager should have simply taken our order, but she appeared disinterested. To be honest, I am perplexed by the hype surrounding this establishment. The brisket ravioli is not worth the price. It consists of a few small pieces of brisket topped with cheese ravioli, which is hardly brisket ravioli. I would not recommend it. We also ordered the ribeye steak, which was satisfactory but lacked flavor and was rather bland. The drinks were the only redeeming qualities of the meal. This establishment is suitable for lunch or a casual gathering with friends, but it is not recommended for a date night dinner. It is disappointing due to poorly trained staff who lack proper restaurant etiquette.

NOT CHILD FRIENDLY!!!! NOT ACCOMMODATING!!!! The food was great and the server tried to do what she could. We came in with 2 infants, a toddler and 2 bigger kids. We were put at a high top with no backs on the chairs and zero high chairs. When we requested to get a chair from the bar with a back on it for the 2 year old, the manager/host said it would ruin the esthetic and acted as though we the patrons were an inconvenience. We had to get strollers for our infants and the manager had the audacity to put the stroller that had my infant in it and already set up out of the way, under the table, instead of asking. Absolutely terrible management to say the least. Additionally noticed she did it with other patrons as well. Will not be returning.

I can only bring myself to give this establishment one star, and that’s solely due to the exceptional service provided by our server. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff exhibited a complete lack of professionalism. Upon arrival, we experienced an unacceptably long wait before anyone acknowledged us, despite the "Please Wait to be Seated" sign. After a considerable time, our server approached us, which was the only positive interaction during our visit. We were then told that we had to sit outside in the sun, as the staff did not want to make any adjustments to accommodate us. Additionally, when my daughters attempted to use the restroom, they were directed to port-a-potties for a nearby festival. The staff member seemed unaware that we were seated on the patio, but she should have confirmed this with my daughters for clarity. As newcomers to the Tomball area, we will not be returning to this location. I wish our server the best, as he certainly deserves a better professional environment.
