In the city center, around Piazza Statuto, to be clear, there aren't many places offering good food in a nice, laid-back yet cool location. Well, I recently discovered that the Piazza dei Mestieri complex might just be the right place for you. Upon entering the area, you'll notice four locations right in front of you that serve as classrooms for many young students during the day. Among the many options, there's Birrificio La Piazza. It's very nice both outside with plenty of tables and inside with an authentic pub feel. The food is very good. The fried food is excellent. The meat seems high-quality. And the prices are very affordable. Appetizers are around €6-9, while burgers are around €14-15. The service is also very fast. Congratulations!

Good place to taste different beers. We were there for a dinner on Friday evening, it was super crowded and we had to wait for 30 mins for a table for 4. There are options for vegetarians. I had a salad with feta cheese, it was delicious enough.

Il locale è molto carino in stile industriale, il servizio è nella norma, le porzioni sono buone, anche se nell'antipasto troppi cibi surgelati e altra pecca un po' troppo sale in tutto, capisco che si debba vendere la birra, ma un filo meno, soprattutto nello stinco, avrebbe reso tutto più appetibile.

Posto piacevole, soprattutto d'estate dove è possibile gustare ottime birre artigianali e mangiare piatti di qualità e particolari (per lo più piatti la cui preparazione richiede l'uso della birra). Ci andiamo spesso, di solito vi è la possibilità di prenotare, ad eccezione di serate in cui vi sono degli eventi come l'evento Bierfest Platz 2023 deve l'organizzazione ha richiesto l'occupazione della strada pedonale antistante (coperto ma con pochi tavoli) e il cortile interno è stato dedicato agli stand.

The place is beautiful, especially in summer, it feels like being on holiday, the beer is excellent and the food is also hamburger-style with quality meat and not the usual frozen minced meat. The only downside is that smoking is allowed. While you're eating, if you hear the smoke from the neighbours, it's not nice. You should let them out of the door like many places do nowadays.

A cute place with a small internal courtyard for al fresco dining, perfect for summer evenings and even for groups. I only tried the Vegburger, and it was excellent—highly recommended. The other orders looked great.

La carne del panino buona con una giusta cottura, il bacon un po’ troppo unto. Peccato per il bagno fuori perché, dopo aver mangiato un panino e le patatine unte, non posso mettere la giacca per non ungerla.(sono andato in bagno senza giacca e con temperature non troppo calde). Ho fatto presente alla cassa che non sarebbe stato male avere almeno le salviette umide.

Siamo venuti in questo locale di martedì sera. La location è bella e d'estate mettono i tavoli fuori per avere più coperti e coprono tutta la piazza interna. Non è semplicissimo da trovare come posto perché all'interno di un palazzo, ma ormai con google non è un problema. Siamo venuti per bere una birra e quindi non posso valutare il cibo anche se gli hamburger avevano un bell'aspetto ed erano invitanti. C'è una vasta selezione di birre, alcune molto buone altre un po' troppo particolari per i miei gusti. Abbassa la valutazione il servizio. Abbiamo aspettato in piedi 30 minuti (di martedì sera) nonostante ci fossero tavoli vuoti. Quando lo facevamo notare ci dicevano che i tavoli dovevano essere ancora puliti, anche se liberi da un po' di tempo. Anche per le birre abbiamo aspettato parecchio, e la cameriera ha sbagliato tavolo (cose che capitano per carita). Un peccato, forse la serata sbagliata ma se questo è un martedì sera non oso immaginare il venerdì o il sabato.

A beer hall with a lovely atmosphere and an open production area. I should point out that I'm vegan and haven't drank beer, so my review is based on the few items I tried: tacos with guacamole, hummus with vegetables, and rustic potatoes. As for the tacos with guacamole, I'll let the photo speak for itself. The flavors were extremely bland and the guacamole was runny; I had to eat it with a spoon. The hummus wasn't bad, a generous portion, but it was served in a bowl meant to be eaten by the spoonful without bread or croutons, which wasn't ideal. In the absence of these, instead of the giardiniera (not specified on the menu), I'd suggest a dip, which at least allows you to eat the hummus with carrots/celery/etc. It wasn't very flavorful for my tastes; I asked for pepper, but they didn't have it to bring to the table; they only had it from the grinder in the kitchen, oh well. The potatoes were good and flavorful, perhaps lacking in salt, but that's better, so you can adjust them to your taste. I would also suggest a change in ordering and preparation; we waited an hour even though we ordered appetizers, which arrived with the main course. Friendly and helpful staff!

A pleasant discovery for a dinner with friends. Nothing to complain about the quality of the food or the service, and the wait time was reasonable despite the crowd. Excellent selection of dishes and beers, and the bill was fair. Unfortunately, there are several negatives that have lowered the review. First, they made a mistake with our reservation; we had reserved a table for Saturday, but when we arrived, they thought it was for the previous day. Second, having ordered hot meat dishes with sides (a 3 out of 4), we weren't served bread. Third, the dessert called "bread and chocolate" was actually just a small loaf of bread with a chocolate bar on the side for the modest sum of €4!!! Okay, maybe we should have asked for clarification on the dessert, but at this point, the price should have been at least half. Fourth, there were actually very few beers available on the menu, only a wide selection of reds, but no blondes other than the light ones. Lastly, and perhaps the worst part, when it came to the bill, despite both couples paying digitally, we weren't given the option to pay half each, and the waitress was quite rude, too... I don't think we'll be back. It's a shame. Because the quality of the food was truly top-notch and the portions were average.

Qualcosa non va in cucina con qualsiasi cosa che sia fritto. In generale i piatti non sono un granché e ne ho provati vari. Mi aspettavo che la birra fosse più buona. L'ambiente si presenta un po' banale, suggerirei di migliorare atmosfera, selezione della birra e la presentazione del menù esclusivamente digitale da maledetto QR.
