Abbiamo prenotato per la cena, in questo locale molto carino e ben arredato. Le cameriere molto accoglienti, ci hanno fatto accomodare, presentato quello che offriva lo chef oltre al menù alla carta. La nostra scelta è caduta sui piatti della tradizione oltre ad assaggiare il piatto fuori menù che è risultato ottimo 👍 Tutto buonissimo accompagnato da un buon bicchiere di vino. Se vi trovate a Torino non dimenticate di fare una fermata alla locanda da Betty, ne vale la pena🙌

Prima volta che proviamo questo posto tra l'altro a san valentino, e siamo stati veramente soddisfatti con la mia ragazza. Ambiente accogliente e caloroso, atmosfera intima e tranquilla. Personale professionale e cordiale. ll cibo molto buono, abbiamo preso in 2 due antipasti: tagliere di salumi rigoroso che riempie molto e battuta di salsiccia di bra spettacolare. Poi come primi: agnolotti e tagliatelle, deliziosi. Infine un dolce che era una torta (consistenza tipo gelato, con pistacchio e gianduia, molto buono). Nel servizio comprende pure pane e grissini. Siamo stati serviti comunque in modo veloce senza aspettare molto quindi bene. In 2 abbiamo pagato in tutto 70€ comprese 2 acque da 0,5 ciascuno. Direi prezzo onesto per quello che la locanda offre. Lo consiglio vivamente, anche per una serata di coppia.

This ought to be my favorite restaurant ever. It was delicious, copious, well served, and not expensive. Ladies were very nice and kind. The menu is small and that’s what you want. Bonus: no ham/pork in the entire menu.

we loved this place, it's informal, central, service is attentive and friendly and the food is consistently good. The starters are abundant, the main courses generous and tasty. The agnolotti were particularly good and the brasato delicious. With wine and water, cover charges etc we spent just over 30 euros each which is definitely good value for the location and food quality.

I had an inexpensive lunch of very good ravioli and tiramisu. The server was very kind despite my complete lack of Italian.

Locale veramente molto affollato, con circa 15 minuti di attesa prima che si liberasse un tavolo. Una volta entrati, purtroppo ci è stato assegnato un tavolo proprio davanti alla porta, dove faceva piuttosto freddo. Il personale però è stato molto gentile e disponibile: non appena possibile ci ha spostati in una zona più interna e decisamente più calda. Cibo e vino di buona qualità. Il locale è accogliente, anche se forse un po’ troppo pieno di gente.

Siamo stati circa un mesetto fa in questo ristorante vicino al centro di Torino. Abbiamo iniziato con una “sorpresa”: l’antipasto segnalato sul menù come tomino in realtà erano dei formaggi fresci con degli abbinamenti interessanti e non quello che ci si aspetterebbe alla griglia. Non so se è stato un nostro fraintendimento o nel menù non è ben specificato. Nonostante ciò, qualità del formaggio ottima e abbinamenti interessanti: cipolla caramellata, miele, salsa verde, patè di olive e marmellata di fichi. Il mio compagno ha preso gli gnocchi al formaggio e, dopo un assaggio, confermo anche io che erano molto buoni. Io invece ho preso una cotoletta in carpione alla piemontese perchè ero curiosa di assaggiare un piatto locale. Non fa per me in quanto si sente tanto l’aceto ed è fredda (cose che mi erano state gentilmente spiegate dalla cameriera). Forse come abbinamento ci vedrei di più un purè di patate che va ad addolcire l’aspro dell’aceto, e non delle zucchine anch’esse bagnate nell'aceto. Ma con ciò esprimo un gusto personale, non era male il complesso del piatto solo che tanto aceto mi “stomaca” dopo un po’, ho sottovalutato questo aspetto. Io ed il mio lui abbiamo poi condiviso un fetta di torta di mele arrivata calda con del gelato alla cannella. Che dire, ad averlo saputo mi sarei presa una fetta tutta per me e non sono una particolare amante dei dolci! Composizione semplice ma d’effetto!

Unfortunately, as others have written, the waitress can really keep you waiting to place your order. We are clearly not Italian, but we do speak Italian, and I had the feeling she avoided us as uncertain if we only spoke english. I had to tell her in Italian we were ready to order AFTER she kept taking orders from people who arrived after us. Other than her, the remaining staff we warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and it is clearly a very popular place as when we left, there was a line waiting outside for a table.

Si è mangiato bene (riso troppo al dente a parte!), in un locale grazioso ma dagli spazi davvero risicati. Il servizio, però, è scadente davvero. Ero con un amico in carrozzina e non ho riscontrato, da parte del personale, la premura e le attenzioni che ritengo nodali, in casi simili.

Cibo buono e location piacevole, purtroppo però la nostra esperienza è stata rovinata dal servizio. La cameriera (ci tengo a specificare che mi riferisco alla cameriera con i capelli corti, perché invece il ragazzo che ci ha preso l’ordine e la ragazza che alla fine ci ha portato il pane sono stati molto gentili e professionali) ci ha portato via i piatti dell’antipasto all’improvviso, in fretta e furia, senza nemmeno chiedere se avessimo terminato, mentre stavo letteralmente ancora masticando e avrei voluto fare la scarpetta con il pane cosa che purtroppo non ho potuto fare. Un gesto che può sembrare piccolo, ma che a tavola fa davvero la differenza. La cosa peggiore, però, è stata la risposta ricevuta poco dopo. L’abbiamo chiamata per chiedere del pane: la prima volta ci ha detto di aspettare, comprensibile. La seconda volta che l’abbiamo chiamata, dopo che ci aveva appena consegnato i piatti con il primo al tavolo, ci ha risposto testualmente: “Dovete aspettare oppure chiedete a qualcun altro perché io porto i piatti”, con un tono così brusco che anche i signori seduti accanto a noi si sono accorti dell’atteggiamento. Siamo rimasti davvero male, tanto da vivere il resto del pranzo con il magone. Comprendiamo benissimo lo stress di una domenica a pranzo, ma il modo di rivolgersi ai clienti è fondamentale, soprattutto per chi lavora a contatto con il pubblico. Peccato, perché con un servizio più attento sarebbe stata un’esperienza molto diversa. Lo consiglierei per il cibo e per la location ma questo trattamento non farebbe piacere a nessuno.

It’s a pity, because with better and more attentive service, the overall experience could have been much more enjoyable.

I went to this restaurant two days ago and ordered two dishes -Agnolotti al Ragu and Brasato al Barolo . They were decent. I went there today again but I was only looking to have their Panna Cotta. I have never had a restaurant tell me that you can only have a seat if you order more. So a restaurant now decides what customer gets to order from their menu. So then I went to another restaurant nearby where I got the dessert where they just told me it included a service charge and showed me a seat. Further, I was so angry that I checked through their reviews and I was appalled by the way the owner has responded to people by name calling and insulting (see for yourself).

Cibo buono, personale maleducatissimo. Abbiamo avvisato che saremmo riusciti ad arrivare solo mezz’ora dopo l’appuntamento prestabilito (ore 12.30). Ci hanno detto che non c’era problema, però avremmo dovuto lasciare il tavolo per le due. Durante il pranzo, il personale continuava a metterci fretta nel terminare i piatti, dopo averci impiegato mezz’ora per servire degli antipasti freddi. Abbiamo terminato alle 14.15, con ancora un bel po’ di tavoli che non avevano ancora finito. All’uscita c’erano una trentina di persone del turno delle 14 ad attendere il proprio tavolo. Mentre uscivamo, siamo stati accusati dalla cameriera di fronte a tutti i clienti che attendevano, la quale ha gridato a tutti che era colpa nostra se loro fuori non avevano ancora il loro tavolo (noi eravamo in 8, fuori c’erano 30 persone). Credo proprio che dovreste imparare a gestire le prenotazioni decentemente e a trattare il cliente con rispetto. Se non è possibile ritardare di mezz’ora, piuttosto riferitelo al telefono invece che pigliarvi i soldi e in più denigrare di fronte a tutti chi vi ha pagato. Sveglia.

Anche se il cibo era buonismo e abbiamo mangiato bene, il servizio è stato veramente scorretto. Quando abbiamo fatto la prenotazione nessuno ci ha detto che c’erano i turni e quindi noi non avevamo nessuna fretta. Le cameriere sono state maleducate, con qualsiasi domanda ci hanno risposto male e a volte non ci guardavano in faccia. Alle 21:30 il conto è stato sbattuto sul tavolo, senza neanche averlo chiesto. Posti dove mangiare bene a Torino ce ne sono tanti, ed è il servizio che fa la differenza.
