My girlfriend and I came to eat at this restaurant for the first time on Friday, and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise! The location is very characteristic, in Spanish Gothic style, and we were welcomed by very kind and professional staff. We had a mixed meat and fish paella; the portions speak for themselves—definitely generous! In fact, we didn't finish it and ordered a takeout package. Excellent quality and price! Definitely worth repeating.

This is the place to eat an excellent paella: vegetarian, with meat, or mixed meat/fish, there's something for everyone! All accompanied by sangria and churros for dessert. And to finish, the porrón is a must! I'll definitely be back!

The paella was delicious and plentiful, and there are several fixed-price menus to choose from (even for dinner). We also tried the potato and onion tortilla: exceptional. The staff was friendly, and they even offered us a traditional Spanish liqueur at the end. Highly recommended!

Personale gentile e premuroso. Non c’è un parcheggio ma si può trovare nelle varie vie vocine. Ambiente molto caratteristico con varie sale a tema spagnolo. Il menù comprende un assaggio di due antipasti e la paella carne/pesce abbastanza buona. Ci hanno offerto anche un piccolo antipasto molto particolare e buono con melone pomodorini e cipolla di Tropea! Alla fine del pasto due tipi di liquore.. un amaro di erbe ed uno dolce che merita provare assolutamente! La sangria veramente molto buona! In 4 persone con 4 menù, un litro di sangria, due bottiglie d’acqua, due dolci e due caffè abbiamo speso euro 145,00.

Locale molto caratteristico spagnolo, personale molto accogliente e simpatico. Da ritornarci molto volentieri.

We spent New Year's Eve here, and the experience was truly positive, with a few small areas for improvement. One of the most appreciable features was the restaurant's decision to stay grounded, avoiding the typical New Year's excesses. Unlike most restaurants, La Pella offered the usual menu at no extra charge, along with a special option that included several appetizers at a very reasonable price. The quality of the food, as always, lived up to expectations: tasty, carefully prepared dishes with fresh ingredients. The kitchen successfully showcased tradition without sacrificing that touch of sophistication that distinguishes La Pella. The evening unfolded in a pleasant atmosphere, free from the typical New Year's frenzy, allowing guests to enjoy their meal in peace. The only thing that could have further enriched the experience: a small event organized for midnight would have given it an extra touch. However, the choice to maintain a low-key approach is perfectly in line with the style of the venue and can be seen as an added value for those looking for an alternative to the usual noisy celebrations.

We ordered the set menu, which included two appetizers (mussels in sauce and mixed fried fish and vegetables) and a mixed meat and fish paella for the main course. Drinks are not included in the set menu. Everything was very good, and the service was quite quick and attentive.

Unprofessional staff. I point out that I have celiac disease. The girl taking my order insisted on making me order the gluten-free appetizer (reassuring me) because the rice took over 20 minutes. They brought me a tortilla and then the mussels, without sauce. A waitress left them on the table, and another immediately took them away, telling me they contained gluten. To apologize for what happened, the girl taking my order said she only understood one appetizer, when in fact she had written it down. Not having the detailed receipt, I think I also paid for what I didn't eat.

If you really fancy a stereotypical Spanish themed restaurant, try it. Otherwise avoid. While staff was helpful and kind, the paella is passable even for Italian standards, and with a final bill going over 30€ per person, pretty expensive.

Positives: - Good paella (nothing exceptional) - Friendly staff Negatives: - Location in a bad area - Old and poorly decorated - Meager appetizers (fried 2 squid and 1 shrimp, the rest were tiny pieces of puny vegetables) - €30 per portion of paella was a complete rip-off! - We didn't receive a menu to see how much the items we ordered cost. Final rating: terrible, terrible experience.
