The staff is always friendly.
Really clean place with great service. It's a mom and pop place. Had the kimchi fried rice with cheese, it was amazing. Check them out.
Have always gotten takeout but food is great, consistent and reasonably priced. Staff is super friendly and happy to provide whatever I need when I'm there.
Awesome place! The workers are nice and the food is awesome. I highly recommend this place. Chris & Liam
I didn't eat kimbap there. But their donnkatsu (pork cutlet) dish was delicious!
Good kimbap (Korean rolls) and assorted casual Korean food. Spicy rice cake is my favorite.
First time here and we had a great experience 👋🏽 we'll be back again.
Great, authentic, little restaurant. Hefty portions and good quality.
Came here with my coworkers for lunch, we ordered the beef Kimbap, cheese dukbokki, cheese fried rice and spicy seafood noodles. Everything was really yummy 😋 the beef Kimbap was a pretty large serving surprisingly. The seafood noodles don’t look very tasty but they actually turned out bring one of my favorite dishes. It’s hard to find a place that serves good kimbap so I’m glad this place is here!
Kimbap restaurant in Torrance! Love it. Different selections of Korean kimbap as well as some awesome wings and cold noodles. The food is good here. Great for groups, delicious, and nice owners. After your meal grab coffee or Korean cafe beverage and fancy desserts at Cafe Bene just a few doors down. Typical Korean shopping plaza with a pool hall, traditional Korean restaurant, kimbap restaurant, and a Cafe Bene. Felt like I was in Seoul all over again.
Lovely little Korean restaurant and the owner is super friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious! Have eaten here many times and has always been great!
We enjoyed the food. We ordered 5 dishes and all of them were delicious. I thought that the staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back soon!
The food that I got from here was very good. They give you a lot for what you pay for and has very reasonable prices for their menu. Great place to go for some kimbap.
The best korean food anywhere!
Lately, I’ve been very into kimbap. However, I can be pretty picky about it in terms of what’s inside. There’s sooooo many options for what kind of kimbap you want. For me, I’m really into the beef kimbap. Kimbap Paradise has the best beef kimbap, in my opinion. The restaurant is located in Torrance, super close to my home. It’s in a busy shopping center so there’s plenty of parking. I easily just call in my order and pick it up. It’s usually ready within 10/15 mins depending on how busy they are. I never dined in, but there’s lost of seating inside to do so. If you’re not a kimbap fan, they have many other Korean dishes to choose from.
I’ve had kimbap before, but I bought the prepackaged ones from grocery stores. I thought they were okay. Then I watched Kpop Demon Hunters and saw Rumi sniffing and swallowing a whole roll, and was like, “Am I missing something?” So my search for freshly made kimbap landed me here. I was hesitant to go to the Ktown location, and made the 90 minute drive to the Torrance location. At first glance the kimbap looked like any other kimbap. Just with a slightly nicer presentation. But the smell radiating from my to-go bag was permeating my car. The scent of roasted sesame oil. I had to try one before making my long drive back home. It was, in short, very delicious. I can see why Rumi was shoving it down her throat. I bought the beef and tuna kimbap. The beef had a nice savoriness. While the tuna had a creaminess to it. Both were delicious, but I liked the beef more. I also just finished my order of tteokbokki, as I’m writing this review. It was spicy, umami, chewy, and paired well with the adobo rice I made. Yes, we are expert big backs over here. Overall, I really liked their kimbap. Next time I’ll go to their Vermont location since it’s closer 🤤
If you are from South Korea and wanting to eat kimbap paradise, thinking that it’s the same as ones in Korea, don’t be alarmed that price is much higher in the US. BUT, Kimbap Paradise food quality does indeed surpass ones in Korea. I sometimes think that there is no other 분식 restaurant quite like this. I truly recommend this combo: tteokbokki, tuna kimbap, and squid tempura. I didn’t expect much of squid tempura but I had it this time and HOLY SNAP it is good!!!! The batter is literally matching and more of fish n chips. I don’t know how they do this but kimbap and how they rolled is a pure definition of kimbap. Looks alway perfect. MUST TRY HERE!!!
1st time trying this place. Very nice staff. & FOOD IS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I was having doubts about trying the place but I am very glad I did. Definitely will return 4 more !!
Love this restaurant. The wait time was supposed to be 20+ minutes but I feel like I got it in less time. It's nice to see everyone working at a tolerable speed where I don't think they're stressed out and orders aren't taking more than 20 mins. My experience with Kimbap at other restaurants is they take more than 30 mins because they're also dealing with online orders, phone orders and in house orders. But I believe everyone at this restaurant was doing that but still making good time management without sacrificing the quality and presentation of the food. I had an order of beef kimbap and an order of spam Kimbap. I'm looking forward to trying out more of the menu here when I'm in the area.
One of my favorite casual eateries to go for quick and flavorful Korean food. I’ve tried most of the menu items over the last year and can say they do many dishes well. - Their kimbap is seriously the best; it’s packed with veggies and protein unlike other places that fill you up on rice. -Kimchi fried rice is fantastic. Lots of flavor, very cheesy, and the egg on top adds silliness to round out each bite - fried chicken is consistently good and comes with cabbage salad - I usually go for the clam soup or the kimchi soup. Or army stew if you want something more spicy and flavorful. - Squid tempura is done well, big cuts of tentacles in a seasoned batter. - BUT...pass on the bossam, they’re better at the quick snack dishes and bossam is difficult to get right. The owners are so sweet and friendly and they’ll remember you if you come back! Service is attentive and very quick.
I love this place! Great price and generous quantities. Everything is so flavorful! From the kimbap to the spicy seafood noodle soup to the steamed chives pork belly. Service is quick and efficient which makes it perfect for takeout orders and they have the BEST kimchi!
First timer here. I got the Paradise Cheese Ddeokbokgi. Mouthful of textures and flavors!! It was soo spicy and cheesy, just how I like it. Has sausages, rice cake, fish cakes, mozzarella cheese & bean sprouts. Must try if your looking for something new to eat.
Genuinely impressed by the spicy and sweet wings! The beef kimbap was super delicious and the kimchee fried rice with cheeze was just mind blowing! The rice cake was a little bit too soft for my personal preference but still good nonetheless.
Large portion, delicious kimbap, spicy rice cake and k style tonkatsu!! Just love it!! It made me reminisce Korean street/fast food. I wanted to order everything on the menu. I highly recommend this place.
Glad to have found a local kimbap house. I plan to come back and try their soondae and the fish cake soup! Jjambong was pretty on point! I haven’t had tuna kimbap in a while and it was pretty satisfying. Will definitely be back again! Edit: came back, tried their soondae and fish cake soup and it’s all amazing!
Awesome service, great food. We always get the same thing as usual.. Love the variety of Korean kimbap..

My family and I had lunch there. Each of us ordered a different lunch box. The lunch boxes offered great value; the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
The food was extremely good, service was amazing as well. When I stepped foot into the place, I was greeted right away. The workers were extremely sweet as well, I 100% recommend this place.

Korean food is flavorful and aromatic, and this place serves just that. They have all of the Korean classics you look for and more.
The Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup was excellent! It had shrimp, octopus, calamari, mussels and crabs. It’s perfect since I was a bit under the weather. And of course the Kimbap was very delicious.
Kimbap and korean friend chicken are really good. Ddukbokki was very tasty as well. The reason for 4 stars is that they forgot to bring out another dish till the end and we had to remind them a few times.
Quick K-food comfort style place specializing in kimbap. Big portions and tasty.
A nice cozy spot with a simple but delicious menu options. Love how they have huge pictures of the food you'll be ordering. Great portions for the $.
This strip mall restaurant has a small seating area and does a lot of take-out. It was clean with a small bathroom down a short hallway towards the back of the premises. I am just starting to learn about Korean food after watching a lot of Kdramas. I visited twice in 2 days, first having the pork bulgogi and the following day having the beef bulgogi. The food was solid but not as prepared as I expected. I really love beef bulgogi. Some of the food didn't work for me. I just prefer the flavors of sushi, not kimbap. I liked the bulgogi - I tried both beef and pork - but it is not the incredible beef bulgogi flavors I expected, nor as I remember from other restaurants. The bulgogi here has many vegetables. The beef bulgogi did not have the thick dark sauce it usually has. I haven't had pork bulgogi before. My bulgogi dishes were tasty, but not the incredible taste that I associate with beef bulgogi. I would go back and try more - like the japchae - but I am not often in Torrance. I moved to Long Beach near the airport and CSULB and need to check out Korean restaurants where I live
The only reason this place does not get five stars is because there were no complimentary side dishes that I am accustomed to getting in Korean places. Not a deal breaker, but still noticeable. The place is small and inviting. The service was quick. We didn't have to wait long for our food to come out. The portions were generous and the taste was fantastic! I'm a big fan of kimchi and the kimchi there was just amazing! It was sour and spicy, but not enough to overpower everything else on the plate. Definitely a place I'd recommend!
Very friendly staff! Food god and fresh

Ever since the ownership changed the quality of kimbap and other items are progressively falling. Used to be one of the best in LA but no longer order from this place. Over seasoned and stale.
Not bad.. clean environment Some menu seems a bit pricey for what you get.. Especially gimbab...are very expensive while you'll get much better plate food at same price DdukBokii was all right, but i'd say I would come when I am super lazy to cook at home.. Also ordered JjolMyun i dont want to say it is bad just the taste is something you can get right out from your own kitchen not as tasty as you would expect from restaurant where you pay to get delicious food.. I prefer instant one from market.. Their spicy menus has some stuffy taste at the end which doesn mean they are good at making sauces..

I can definitely see that they're taking criticism from the reviews as much of the suggestions have been taken into effect. However, I must complain about how some of the food doesn't taste so great, especially considering its high price.
Food was good, but the prices were very expensive. It's clear if you are not korean, the service will not be good. We were very kind and tipped, yet we were treated poorly compared to all the other customers. You are better off buying food at Hmart. Tastes the same and much cheaper.

We ordered $300 worth of food and just asked for a little complimentary soup but nope, apparently miso soup isn’t included with kimbap. Fine. But charging $1 per soup and then serving half a cup of broth with two sad green onion slices? No tofu, no seaweed—just vibes. And that “Kimchi” fried rice? It was just rice pretending to be kimchi no real kimchi, no spam, just red colored disappointment. I get that prices are going up but cutting portions, skipping ingredients, and overcharging? Not cool. At least be honest and call it “Diet Friendly Fried Rice” and “Miso Soup Lite. 💀
Service is cool, the ramen I ordered wasn’t. Who puts wieners in ramen? I would have still ate it had it tasted good but unfortunately it didn’t. It’s a shame too since the portion size was great.
Ordered foods about $300 and asked for 7 miso soups for service. Even It is just small amount they charged $1 each. They said cannot give service because it's owner's instruction. Usually, other restaurants give us 1 free service menu for that amount order. [Response to Manager's response] $300 (20 items) for a street Food menu (분식) is not a small price to pay. it's not common that amount order for 분식 . Thank you very much for 3 soup service. you will be praised by business owner as a great employee. LOL 3 free soups worth whopping $3. When you consider how much the soup was in each container, probably not even worth $3. You can probably get a lot more customers in return when you provide good thoughtful services. 진짜 융통성이 전무 하군요… Once again, very disappointed how you responded on my feedback. Sorry, you lost a customer and more!!
