As far as L&Ls go, this is definitely the best that I've been to in SoCal. Their portions are the biggest, quality is always fantastic, and there always seems to be a continual line piling into the fairly small space which goes to show people know what's up. I've also catered with this location many times and every time my order has been made by the designated time, ready to be picked up. Doesn't get much better than this in terms of cheap lunch plates on the mainland.

here. I ordered the L&L BBQ Mix and did I turn out to be a happy camper. The plate was beef, chicken, short ribs (all of the meats were nicely seasoned), rice and macaroni salad. Heaping servings: flavorful and delicious. I don't know if all the locations mirror this one but this location is a go back too for sure.

Great food served up fast! If you haven't eaten here before a heads up that a regular sized plate can feed three people. There isn't much seating and it's packed full everyday for lunch so don't forget you have the option to call in you order for pick up.

Probably the best L and. L on the mainland. The food is good and reasonable priced but what makes this place stand out is the staff. They are friendly and efficient. Wing is the best. She has an unreal memory. She will greet a repeat customer by their name and if ask if you would like to order your usual order. Now how's that for making you feel appreciated. 😉

Best Hawaiian Food in the planet hands down. The staff offers 10/10 customer service. They are down to earth people and the food is amazing. Portion sizes are great too. Definitely a go to spot when hungry and near the area.

First, their "Regular" portions are HUUUUGE!!! You can feed 2 hungry teens with that! I would recommend the "mini" sized entrees. Food was very good. The seating space is very limited. They were busy, constant line, but they whip the food orders out fast.

This is the ONLY L&L I visit because this L&L treats me like family. I have been coming here since 2011 and never has the staff nor food failed to uphold the ultimate level if genuineness. Prices are small and portions are big and the folks here work efficiently and love what they do.

What can I say, they’re always super welcoming and friendly, service is quick and accommodating. Food-wise, you really can’t go wrong with any of their options, it’s perfect for any occasion. We’ve ordered their catering options as well for parties (half, full, etc.) and everyone loves it. Price to portion ratio is excellent, especially the portions are very generous. We tend to always take it for take-out and one thing we always get is the mini chicken katsu plate with double macaroni. The mini is a lot, I’ll have leftovers for another meal. Crispy chicken katsu with the delicious sauce. The macaroni is great to pair with the katsu. The bbq mix plate is delicious as well, the proteins (chicken, been and short rib kalbi) is well marinated with lots of flavor. I don’t think I even need any extra sauce with them. I do prefer the chicken over the beef, but I’m biased and not the biggest of fan of bulgogi style beef. Other items I’ve enjoyed on their menu include spam musubi, pineapple chicken and the mahi mahi. There’s really a lot of options. It’s a quick dining option with quality food.

I was listening to the cashiers convos with customers and she remembers all of her regulars! That’s when you know the service is great, when they take the time to build rapport with their customers.

This is a chain on the Hawaiian islands and it was nice to eat at here in Torrance. I got the pork bowl with cabbage, but they have really good mahi mahi and chicken katsu with a side of macaroni salad. Too many choices!

Most people would never think of Hawaiian BBQ as a place to go for a low calorie meal, but I know of no better. My typical order is the Regular size Half & Half w/ BBQ Chicken and Beef, sides of white rice and steamed vegetables (85-90% broccoli). This is a large plate but still under 900 calories and I usually eat only half for lunch at work and take the rest home. Add unsweetened tea for your drink and you have a filling meal high in protein, enough carbs (white rice) to get you through the day, some vitamins from the veggies all under 450 calories. Best value lunch and best for you that I've found, keeps me coming back for almost 15 years.

Hawaiian fast food, always prompt service and always plentiful and tasty food. The prices have been adjusted for inflations just like everyone else, see pictures below for prices as of 10/2023. Tips: for dinner, we usually order BBQ Beef Ribs and BBQ chicken plates. As we are not a fan of the macaroni salad, so we ask to replace it by just cabbages and rice. With our own favorite dressings, it makes a pretty balanced meal.

When I want chicken katsu, this is my go to place. Sometimes I venture out of my usual but it's mainly katsu & spam musubi. The regular plate gives me 2-3 meals so it's worth the price. I notice this place had a picture of a Ramen burger. I'll have to give that a try. L & L is not really the dining experience as they have a few tables at this place but mostly do take out. Same with Gardena.

I like the food. Nothing wrong with the taste and it’s never raw but it just too greasy. Makes it hard to actually finish your meal. If thats not a problem for you then I do recommend trying it. It can get a little busy but the workers are fast. Service is good.

Delicious, generous portions, friendly fast service. Mostly gets orders right: Like 95% of time. Can't really be mad at that. For where my husband wishes only for rice, I do enjoy cabbage 🥬! Haha.

Hard spot to find as the restaurant is located in the shopping plaza. When I got there I ordered the mini BBQ chicken plate and after my food arrived, I noticed something different. My order arrived in a regular size plate, but I thought I ordered a mini? As I opened my meal I found the proportions of meat to be generous. The BBQ chicken was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this place for a quick bite.

The food here is amazing and I always love to order misubi for a quick snack, but my visit on this occasion was less than standard. Generally I will order one of each misubi, with one extra spam misubi, I do this because they can be ordered by 2 or 4, and there are 5 on the menu. Mixing and matching this has never been difficult in the past. This woman working the front was very rude and spoke very short to me despite me making sure to have a friendly demeanor. Because she was so impatient with me, I decided to just order 4 misubi, two katsu and two sausage. Cool, I don’t mind, maybe she’s had a hard day. However, after calling my number, I went to pick up my food to go and asked for katsu sauce, she actually scoffed at me and resentfully grabbed a container of katsu sauce to place in my bag. 1 container of katsu sauce is free with your order. The blatant disrespect toward me as customer was polar to any experience I’ve had here. And as long as she is working at this location I will not be returning.

A total miss...hard raw veggies dry chicken and minute rice. This was my first and last visit. Cashier is not a people person. If the food were at least edible I still would not return to put money in his pocket. Too many other restaurants out there

We have been eating at this place for years and it's always good. Today, we ordered and the BBQ chicken tasted very distinct, kind of rancid. The mac wasn't creamy as it always was. It's as if they watered-down the mayo, to save money and see their profit increase. I get it, inflation sucks but they've raised the prices. I rather pay more for them to keep serving the food, the way they used to. I didn't even finish my Regular sized meal. 😐

This used to be my go-to spot, but their prices for the same amount of food have gone up 2.5 times what it used to cost. It used to be $8-9 for a basic plate, but now that same plate is about $19 or more. I know there is inflation, but this is ridiculous and bordeline greedy. New owners? I'll go to a real restaurant for that price.
