A bomb , this was my first time here at this restaurant and always wanted to try Birria tacos. Hopefully I am pronouncing that correctly! Customer service was great and the food was delicious, found this spot on google looking for tacos. And yes the green and red sauce are both spicy so be careful lol
I have eaten at countless Mexican spots and I have to say this place is a gem. In a metropolis with tons of great Mexican food, these folks definitely stand out in all aspects. They serve what I would consider truly authentic Mexican food. Throughout the whole menu, you will find that everything is packed with great flavors. This is the spot. If you are looking for it, you found it! Enjoy
The food is so good, good service, place is clean, definitely coming back.
Yum yum yum!!! My work has ordered from here twice and it was delicious both times, so I told my family about it and we decided to pick up dinner-- everything was amazing!! The flautas are sooooo good, and my boys really enjoyed their tacos!! So happy to have found this yummy taco spot! Oh! We had rice and beans too that was really good.
Great place fast service, Amazing Birra tacos!
Tacos were fire i ordered Asda and birria tacos. The birria tacos come with consome yezziiirr. Every bite had the perfect amount of protein none of this extra cheesy stuff. Jamaica is my jam so to be able to have a 32oz other restaurants need to take notes Fresca is life.
Love the food and the service. The only thing I don't like is the chairs.......if you are wider in the hips, like me, it's can be a tight squeeze, but the noise from people dragging them is painful. It obviously isn't that big a deal since we are repeat customers. The flan, if it's not sold out, is amazing! Definitely worth the trip!
This was my wife and I first time at the taco🌮 Restaurant Their tacos were really great. The shells were nice and soft, not hard like other taco shells. They had the dipping sauce Green and Red Salsa. The only complaint I had was the Mexican Coca-Cola cost 🥤$4.49 For the Glass bottle Other than that, everything is great. I want to try their burrito🌯 next. I'll definitely go back if you're hungry This is a good place to take to whole family. There's even seating outside to enjoy the nice weather There's a couple of handicapped parking.♿️.... There's men and women Restrooms🚹 🚺.... If you're looking for a job, there are now hiring. You must speak English and Spanish.....
Great tasting food, no matter what you order. The tacos dorados de birria are plenty cheesy & flavorful. Burritos are well proportioned & street tacos are delicious. If you haven't tried this place, I highly recommend it. Plenty of parking as well as dining tables(indoor/outdoor).
This Place is conveniently placed in the south East corner of Hawthorne Blvd and Pacific Coas Highway!!! Plenty of parking in the plaza and the service is excellent. Food was served hot fast and delicious. Clean floors tables and chairs. Definitely a stop for birria cravings. I had a birria torta for 11 dollars it came with chips lime a pepper and a small consomé. Uff! So tasty definitely hit the spot. The food server had an awesome smile and asked me to enjoy it so I did!!!!! Her name is Francis and is part of the family that runs this place. An absolute success. Ow a favorite spot in the area! Oh they also have two big screen TVs and a good treat since the World Cup is playing these days. The ambiance is great. Clean modern nice, will fill you with taste and won’t break your bank. I actually cabe back and had the Tacos dorados and they are dead on spot Bomb!!!! I saw Francis gain and she gave me that great service and smile! Thanks
This is a must go to place. The service was amazing the cashier who helped me was so sweet ! Very hospitality vibes. I went at 3pm pretty empty but the tacos dorados de birra is a must have!! Try it and also the pepino con limón is delicious
My cousin took me to one of her new favorite Mexican restaurants. It's on the corner of PCH and Hawthorne. They have these fried Birria tacos that are amazing and come with cosumme dipping sauce. Pretty amazing. The other menu items look good, but it will be hard not to get the Birria tacos. Next time I'm in town this is a must do
Was a bit hesitant. But the food surprised me. I would recommend eating here. Worth the wait. The birria meat was well prepared and flavorful.
Update 9/5/2022: happy to report....still great food! If you're looking for birria tacos....this is your place. The meat was super tender and moist and had great flavor. Loved the shells and it had just the right amount of cheese and onion. We also had the chicken flautas and they were really good. I would just make sure to order a side of guacamole to help pull all the ingredients together. We ate outside and it was a little noisy and windy......but we will definitely be back to check out additional items from the menu.
Killer Birria! On par with Birria Tacos in Jalisco. Everything is tasty, fresh, and delicious. I'm good with two street Tacos, anything more and it's straight Zzzzz. Their Horchata destroys Taco Nazo's horchata. And their flan.... straight up Coma good. Buenos Suenos. Thank you "Tacos El Goloso" for great service and fantastic food every time! Que Sabor!

The HOME of birria tacos… well …to me, and it’s delicious, don’t forget your consome!

Flautas were crisp, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. No excess oil, just clean seasoning and structure. A standout dish, simple, precise, and satisfying.
Probably the best tacos in the area. Prices are fair. Sometimes their service is a little spotty and they don't communicate well. 4.5

Solid straight Mexican food cantina. Not Tex or Cal Mex.
Great local spot serving up birria tacos. Wouldn’t say they are the best at it but good enough to keep coming back from time to time. Would recommend if you’re in the mood for birria tacos!
I tried their street tacos @$2.99 each. Al Pastor is excellent and pulled pork and asada are good. They give you consommé to dip the tacos in. Pulled pork is better with the dipping sauce as it has a porky taste. It’s casual and easy place to get a quick bite. Chips are fried in oil so they are crunchy and crispy. I will try their California fries and burritos next time. Parking is free and likely enough for most times.
This restaurant was exactly what I needed for a delicious bite of mexican food. The staff was very friendly, patient, and welcoming. I ordered a birria plate which came with soft shell tacos, birria meat, beans, rice, and chips and an horchata drink. The horchata was absolutely delicious and I devoured my birria plate. So good and would definitely come here again!
The Birria Tacos were on point💪🏾. When ordering the only thing I wasn't happy with was the size container of consomme they put in my to go order "tiny"😫 & it was all juice no meat. But I ordered a Large cup of it & asked for meat to be added. Apparently you have to ask for meat🤷🏾♂️. I still loved the food it was delicious & I a large cup of juice with meat to for lunch order dinner. Overall it was a win win.
The Birria plate was surprisingly very good! Rice and beans done right... would of loved home made tortillas. The mexican sodas were a bit pricey but understandable. Their Flautas plate are on hit as well.
This is not my first time here,I have been here many times before . This is my first disappointment. On Wednesday, March 13th around 8pm it was 1 customer in the restaurant. I ordered nachos and a torta, to go. When I opened the container it was covered with onions and cheese (where's the beef?) .I saved the torta for my lunch. Again (where's the beef?) And it was burnt bread . What a disappointment 😞.

Ahh ok so where to begin. I will start by saying the girls at the counter were polite and they are why I'm not even rating it any less. As for the line it takes a min to get your food. It's very hard to hear when your order is being called. So hard if you are not standing at the pick up order you won't hear it and will end up with cold food. The birria was very plain totally lacking flavor tortillas were so soggy without consome that they fell apart Before I could even finish them. The consome was way plain and so so mediocre. Taste to me More like beef broth then anything else. I love birria and had it from many establishments but this was definitely not it. I am giving it three stars as the customer service was good but food wise It gets a 1.
Got a birria burrito like I usually do. Drove 10 minutes and then came back home and there was no consome. Although the burrito was good, it was frustrating as if I had driven back out to the store the burrito would have gotten cold. Please don’t forget the consome!
Please cet rid of the female manager. She has no people skills. She has no motivation to please the customer. The old male manager was really nice and provide excellent service. Now that he is gone the place is empty and been there at least 4 times after the male manager left and each time I been disappointed with the customer service.
$85 to go order totalling at least 20 tacos plus sides, etcetera... disinterested cashier / order taker could barely be bothered to help, got my very easy name wrong after correcting her three times. Mostly, though, it was when she said with our large order, they would include a SINGLE small bag of chips. If we had placed 7 separate 3 taco orders, apparently they would have included 7 small bags of chips. Chips are inexpensive and make the customer feel appreciated. Being "stingy" with chips is not a good look. If this is policy... little or no chips for big orders... it's not advantageous from a marketing standpoint. When I told our guests tonight... they said "we won't go there any more".

Very bad experience at this place. I ordered three plates of four birria tacos with cheese, and they cost $60. Besides the tacos having very little meat, they only gave me one bag of chips, when they normally give one with each plate. The complimentary consommé was almost half full. Overall, quite mediocre.
Horrible customer service EVER. I don’t know if they were stressed out because of the amount of customers but that doesn’t matter AT ALL. Your job is to decent good service if you’re getting paid. I came to pick up my to-go order but the cashier woman didn’t even look up to ask about us or tell us that they’re currently cooking and have to wait. Instead they kept on ignoring us so I thought I can’t just pick up my order on the shelf but the lady then turned and gave us an attitude following with an “EXCUSE ME” like hello? We were patiently waiting in FRONT of you but you chose to ignore your customers and act busy. The lady cooking also saw us but didn’t even try to mention about us. I’ve loved this place and the food but today’s incident just ruined my day and made the food taste awful. I just can’t believe how people can act like this when they’re getting PAID. You’re not here to volunteer right? I did come to the store after I got an “your order is ready” text.
Don’t order over the phone. I called last night to place a pick up order, their website says they were open for another hour so I didn’t think it would be a problem. I called and Luciana picked up, she started to take my order and I started hearing a man in the background mocking my order, saying “they are not going to place more are they?” Keep in mind, I had only placed an order for tacos at this point. When I was done and said my name, he mocked and made another comment. I hung up but ended up calling back and asking for their names and canceling my order. His name was Nick and her name was Luciana. Her explanation was that Nick just liked to “annoy the customers over the phone”. I have ordered from this place many times in the past, but never over the phone. I guess that was my mistake.
They no longer sell guacamole.....only guac sauce which is basically salsa. This is a diabolical decision
The food here is absolutely amazing and the workers are nice but there's one major problem. They don't have complementary water. It's already a little pricey and they want me to buy bottled water every time, on top of it being very salty. I'm sick of trying to remember to bring my own water, it's 2024 and cheapest fast food to the most expensive fine dining offer water, this is a scam!
Honestly the food wasn't good like I'm Mexican so Im used to eating good Mexican food in South Los Angeles and in East Los Angeles where the Mexican food is bomb but we were in the area and tried this place.
ONE star. AVOID unless you like COLD food, LONG waits, and BAD service. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one takes the cake. We live in Southern California where amazing Mexican food is everywhere, and we don’t need all of the problems and unprofessionalism of this place. Thanks for reading, hope you make a better decision and go anywhere else.
I have ordered from this place loads of times. They had some of the best guacamole. They have now changed it to some weird watery sauce and still charging for it. Its the equivalent of a salsa which should be max $.50. Then they have on uber eats that my flautas were supposed to have guacamole and it came with the guacamole sauce. Then they had that the beans were refried with cheese. All they give you is a container with wet beans and no cheese. Very disappointing that they trued to “fix” something that wasnt broken in the first place and have decided to cheap out on items most people want when they eat Mexican food.
