Muy bien ubicado, muy bonito las vistas, personal muy simpático y muy atentos chapó por ellos.Comimos super bien,comida muy buena ,si tengo que poner alguna pega sería los cuartos de baño ,yo soy una persona con poca movilidad y para mí me faltaba un apoyo para poder entrar y salir de la ducha,más que nada porque lo demás si que está preparado ,llegas a todos lados en ascensor y hay rampas en todos sitios. Hemos estado 7 amigas y hemos estado estupendamente. Aconsejable

Estuvimos alojados una noche (8/02) en la villa reymar y todo fue perfecto! Villa muy bien equipada y muy bien situada! Nos recomendaron que hacer y donde comer y eso siempre se agradece ya que era nuestra primera vez en Tossa de Mar Pudimos despertarnos y ver el amanecer desde la habitación Con muchas ganas de volver :)

A wonderful hotel located in the beautiful Tossa de Mar. Staff were outstanding and extremely welcoming, our room view was amazing with a nice view of the pool & the beach. Previous years they have had things like pancakes, waffles and smoked salmon however last year we came and they had a rather basic breakfast, it was a brilliant breakfast however there could have been more choices. Another suggestion is telling us the times the cleaners come to clean our room(s) as you don’t know when they are coming which is quite of an annoyance as they come clean unexpectedly. If they were to tell us roughly what time the cleaners come to our floor then it would be easier for us to plan when to leave the hotel room and we can plan our activities around that time. Aswell as that, they could add more shaded areas by the pool so people who want to sit by the pool and do something like read a book can do that without the sun in the way. Other than that everything was outstanding!

We stayed here for 5 nights last week as a family, and we can’t believe how nice our experience was. The hotel is modern, clean and very well furnished. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and everybody we interacted with was lovely. The breakfast is very good, with a nice selection of hot and cold items and VERY good Spanish ham. The pool area is great, but the pool was way too cold, it was almost impossible to swim. The rooms are a good size and the bed is comfy, however they were very hot as the air con was turned off, and the doors were ridiculously heavy. Also, the spa area is closed so don’t expect to use this. We would absolutely come back again, and had a fantastic time.

I have given the Gran Hotel Reymar 5 stars for rooms, service and location and if I could have given 6 stars I would have. The staff were excellent (happy, attentive and very helpful), the rooms were clean, tidy and well maintained as were all of the public areas. Sitting atop a rocky outcrop you get stunning views of the castle and old town as the sun goes down. Perfect! Oh, and they have private underground car parking.

We overall had a great stay here with the whole family. The garden suite was spacious for having children and the hotel accommodated with baby bed and bedding. The rooms are a bit outdated but decent. The location is incredible, short walk to the beach, diving school, restaurants, and snorkeling areas. We loved having the small playground area and pool. The gym and spa was wonderful and our massages were great. We really loved the breakfast and thought the selection and quality was good. The dinner and bar food at the hotel was just average. Service was great, although some of the front desk staff could have been a bit more friendly and helpful. Overall we would come back. Especially recommended for families who would benefit from having everything you need at the hotel and all sites and attractions nearby.

Really good hotel right next to (2) beaches at the Northern (quieter) end of the bay TDM nestles in. You are close to everything in TDM so a short walk gets you everywhere you need to go. Restaurant & bar staff are brilliant but only negative was (we found) evening dinner a bit disappointing.

Fabulous place to stay in Tossa just outside the main area but 5 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the centre of town, 15 minutes to the castle. Room was light and airy, bed and shower first class, pool good but unheated and staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again when we return to Tossa.

We traveled to Tossa on a limb from August 15-18 and absolutely fell in love thanks to the staff and service at Gran Reymar. The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach and includes a great poolside area. We chose to dine in for some breakfast, lunch, and dinners and enjoyed the menu every time. Although it is a fixed menu, there are still plenty of options for each course. My boyfriend is not a fish eater and still had many options. By our second day, the bar tenders already remembered our drink orders and the cleaning staff was so friendly. Not to mention we were surprised with a no charge room upgrade upon check in as well as complementary flip flops! Only complaint is that we can’t stay at the hotel year round. Hope to be back in the spring :)

Just returned from an 11 night stay. I cannot praise this place enough. The hotel is immaculate they clearly take pride in keeping everywhere spotless. The staff are warm and welcoming couldn't do enough to help and were incredibly kind and friendly to our little boy. (An extra thank you to Maria) We stayed half board and could pick from the lunch or dinner menu on the day. Both are 4 course options, and the food was exemplary with a wide variety enough to please anyone. We stayed on the 7th floor (712) with a sea view which was amazing. The balcony sliding windows open almost the whole side of the room to give the best panoramic view of the beach and hillside. We went to the beach directly outside the hotel which was clean and easy enough to get a sunbed and umbrella everyday. It does however get noticeably busier at the weekends. Only a short walk into the centre of town & a 35-minute taxi journey from the airport in Girona. I am already looking forward to returning to Tossa de Mar and will 100% be staying here again. Thanks again Gran Hotel Reymar, see you in the future!

Our family have visited over decades-we love this place! It's a traditional and calm hotel set at the quieter end of Tossa de Mar - but very walkable into the town. The beach opposite the hotel is a nice sheltered cove with beach cafe, snorkeling/kayaking/SUP options. The hotel clearly takes great pride in maintaining and cleaning facilities/bedrooms, the pool area is great and we've never had trouble getting a spot. There are lots of fabulous views of the sea/castle/hills. The lunch & dinner is a 4 course menu of local high quality produce, with excellent service and options to sit outside or inside. And finally the staff are a credit to the hotel, all welcoming smiling and will adapt to the language of the guests. We look forward to our next trip ASAP.

Amazing hotel! Absolutely fantastic! We went during the last week of May and we had a lovely stay. The staff were lovely! Very helpful and in general seemed to always have a smile on their face! The hotel itself, the bedrooms and pool area were extremely clean and tidy. The weather was great, there was plenty of space around the pool. The view from the pool area and from the bedroom was absolutely fantastic, overlooking the beach. Breakfast was absolute luxury! There’s a lovely outdoor terrace area, where you can enjoy your breakfast overlooking the sea. The hotel also offers spa treatments too, however we didn’t get around to trying them out. The main town is about a 10minute stroll from the hotel, with plenty of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Ubicación de 10 y vistas increíbles desde la habitación. Vamos casa año a celebrar nuestro aniversario y nos encanta. No obstante, el desayuno se corresponde a la categoría del hotel. Los panecillos no son del día, las pastas son bollería industrial... Una sola máquina para el café o tostadora para dos salas, colas.... Ha bajado el nivel respecto a antes de la pandemia. Las habitaciones, están bien, pero quizás empiezan a necesitar alguna reforma. A pesar de todo, es un hotel precioso que merece la pena por las increíbles vistas. Los camarer@s, muy amables.

Buena ubicación, el personal el único amable, el aparcacoches. Desayuno mucha variedad, pero poca calidad, el café horrible. Hambriento un poco decadente.

Estuvimos dos familias 8 días. Buena recepción y amables. Habitación correcta con baño comodo. Se ve que habían sido reformadas. Vistas desde la habitación ( con vistas a piscina y mar) inmejorables Parking con alguna dificultad pero suficiente ( pero es necesario por la ubicación del hotel) Comedor con vistas impresionantes ( no encontraréis ninguno con estas vistas) no tengo palabras para describirlo. Comida correcta, en vez de bufet tienes tres platos para elegir, que siempre alguno te cuadra. Servicio correcto dirigido por Paco, mejor dicho Don Paco, el metre, un diamante en bruto que te hace sentir como en casa. No hay problemas todo son soluciones y ganas de agradar a los comensales dirigiendo el comedor a la perfección. Sólo por este detalle te dan ganas de volver al hotel. Ubicación muy buena. Tanto para bajar a la playa como para visitar el pueblo dando un paseo. Un poco incómodo para salir con el coche. En resumen, nos sorprendió para bien el conjunto de todo el hotel.

Un lugar con alma 💫 Pasamos la verbena de Sant Joan 🎇 y fue simplemente mágico: el mar cerquita 🌊, la brisa de verano, y una calma que se agradece. El equipo del hotel nos trató con mucha cercanía 🤍, y todo estaba cuidado con mimo: habitación cómoda, limpieza impecable 🛏️✨ y un ambiente muy acogedor. Un rincón para desconectar, respirar y disfrutar de Tossa como se merece 🌅 ¡Gracias por todo, Reymar! Volveremos 🫶

Lovely place, room is clean and well appointed (is that the right "Nobby" term for functional and comfortable?) appears to have been refurbished recently, pool is good but not heated and in September is a little chilly at first. Bar and house staff have all been lovely, helpful and friendly. Fantastic views from the restaurant, especially at breakfast with the sun over the sea - right outside the window.

Good hotel with perfect location The hotel has a great location — two beaches are just a short walk away. One is smaller and perfect for families with young kids, and the other is bigger. Everything in Tossa de Mar is within walking distance. Special thanks to the staff — they were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definitely five-star service! We stayed in a family room, which was a good size and had a separate bedroom. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit old, and during our stay the in-room jacuzzi didn’t work, but we understood that some rooms have more modern bathrooms. The only downside was the breakfast. The only fresh vegetable available was tomato, and the cheese was not always fresh — although the staff replaced it immediately when we mentioned it. Overall, we had a good experience.

This +60 year old 4 star family hotel has a privileged location at the extreme end of the stunning Cap de Tossa (right at the small beautiful Platje Mar Menuda) with +150 keys, incl. +30 suites, a set menu restaurant, large pool with sea view, a good massage spa, large conference and a couple of sports facilities. The service is family friendly in a time traveling experience.

Clean and upscale hotel. Three friends shared one room and the room was great (clean and had a balcony). Con is the staff are not friendly and helpful. We came for a wedding. The night before we wanted to know if there was a way to quickly get to the main town without walking and were told no, there are no taxis. Later our friend told us there is a shuttle to the bus station, I thought the front desk staff should've thought of that option as we clearly said we are coming to a wedding. Why couldn't the shuttle bus take us? One night I asked for an iron in Spanish and was told to call back at 8 am. At check in, we were never told about the breakfast. We missed the breakfast that is "always included" because they assumed we knew from our booking. The front desk staff was curt and said it states clearly in the booking. If you are like me and book your hotels a season before for other people and then never look at it until the time you have to walk to your hotel, it's not helpful. Just tell me at check in what I need to know. At breakfast the staff are tired and confused on the ways of North Americans. I was told I'm not supposed to take a new plate and cup each time. A solo person at breakfast and post COVID environment, it is not hygienic to take your own plate to the buffet. For an upscale hotel in a location that is starting to get a lot of tourists, training of your staff in the ways of hospitality from all cultures would go a long way. Great hotel, just try not to talk to the front desk staff as they are not helpful.

Nos encanta este hotel y repetimos cada año. La ubicación es increíble y nos encanta de la comida que no es la típica de buffet si no que es un menú con unos platos y presentación de 10. Pero el punto negativo es el servicio concretamente en el área de recepción. Particularmente hay una trabajadora que nos ha dado muy malas contestaciones y con un carácter muy agrio. This place has a luggage room for after checkout but it’s not locked at all so you’re risking your luggage , someone took all our luggage by mistake of the staff or the guests from that room and thanks to manager he tracked it but we had to wait 4-5 hours and our trip was affected and plans were affected. Service for food is okay too took too long to come and not tasty at all. The location is best part about this hotel. Breakfast was good too

The staff are very helpful and friendly. That's a big plus. The rooms are okay. However, the biggest problem with the hotel is breakfast. There is one coffee machine, one water and juice dispenser, and one toaster for the entire hotel. The queues were long. On the second day, the ham was stale and the scrambled eggs also differed in smell and taste from the previous day. The fruit was the tastiest thing. There were no vegetables. The curfew wasn't enforced very strictly either. Doors were slamming all night long and the guests were very noisy. Personally, a big minus for the water in the pool, which is freezing cold.

Estuvimos con mi pareja alojados dos noches en este hotel en agosto. Para empezar la señora de recepción al hacer el check in era bastante seca. Ni una sonrisa ni un bienvenidos. No nos explicó nada del funcionamiento del hotel (desayuno, horario piscina, toallas para piscina, ...) Lo pasamos por alto porque puede ser que tuviese un mal día. La habitación espaciosa y la cama perfecta. Las vistas parciales al mar fantásticas. El baño podrían remodelarlo aunque estaba limpio y correcto. Las instalaciones bonitas aunque hay zonas que ya se ven antiguas. La piscina bien y muy limpia y cuidada la zona. Lo peor es que dejan bañarse con flotadores enormes y tablas y queda la zona de baño masificada. No hay vigilancia que diga a los niños que no se salta por encima de la gente que hay en la piscina porque la piscina es para todo el mundo. La zona de hamacas correcta aunque hay gente que bajaba a las 6 y media de la mañana a coger sitio. Deberían también controlar esto. La sorpresa desagradable fue que no nos hicieron la habitación. Entiendo la saturación de las camareras de piso en temporada alta pero no es lo que esperas de un hotel de esta categoría. Cuando fui a comentarlo no había nadie en recepción así que lo dejé estar después de esperar 5 minutos. A la hora del check out la recepcionista solo nos habló en inglés. Aunque le hablaba en castellano y también en catalán, no cambió de idioma, cuando con un cliente anterior hablaba perfectamente en catalán. Esto no me gustó nada. Volveremos a Tossa porque nos encanta el lugar pero desde luego no a este hotel ya que el precio no se corresponde en absoluto con la atención recibida. Una lástima.

Fuimos 4 familias. El lugar es muy bonito y las vistas increíbles. El servicio de recepción, limpieza y parking fue muy bueno. El servicio de desayuno y comida bastante malo, desde el trato hasta la comida. Dejan mucho que desear. Precio muy caro para el servicio que dan. Precio muy alto (aunque sea en temporada) por el servicio ofrecidos. No repetiría la experiencia.

Review: Great location, but a disappointing stay We stayed at Gran Hotel Reymar in Tossa de Mar, chosen for its excellent location close to the beach and town center. That turned out to be the only real plus. The A/C worked well and housekeeping kept the room clean. For €400 per night we expected a genuine four-star experience, but it wasn’t. The bathroom is very dated, and the room overall didn’t feel four-star. We also had technical issues: room key cards failed repeatedly and the lights cut out more than once. Pool area: guests “reserve” loungers early with towels and staff don’t intervene — not a four-star vibe. Service was the main let-down. At checkout no one asked how our stay was; we only got a curt “You have to pay drinks.” The older ladies at reception were particularly grumpy and unfriendly. The younger receptionists weren’t great either, though at least they managed a polite smile. Positive exception: the valet/parking attendant was friendly. There were also extra charges with poor communication. Parking is €21 per day for a basic garage. The padel court is pricey and not at Spanish rates: in Spain ~€20 for 1.5 hours is normal; here we paid €54 for 1.5 hours. No equipment included; we were only loaned three very soft balls. Bar drinks and food are also expensive. We only discovered after leaving (from the website) that a bottle of cava should have been in the room on arrival — we never saw it. Bottom line: beautiful location, but service and value disappoint and this is not a four-star experience. We wouldn’t book again.
