Excellent pizza in a rustic setting with a historic feel.... Also ideal for an after-dinner drink, as it closes at 2:00 a.m., to enjoy a sandwich and a beer. Friendly staff. Family atmosphere.. Excellent.

Carlo and Piero's pizza is always excellent, with well-balanced toppings, unlike those places where they offer gourmet pizza and "you leave hungry." Ester, who gently calls out to the children running between the tables with a motherly manner, creates a homey, informal atmosphere. The place takes me back to my childhood: warm, welcoming, no-frills, and with everything you need for a pleasant evening. In the summer, there are outdoor tables both in the courtyard and under a large porch. Highly recommended.

Good food, the only flaw being that the pizza rolls are heated first and then filled... so the ingredients are cold. Maybe it was just a coincidence... it can happen... I had cold cheese. I want to say that I'll gladly return. Very welcoming, informal atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Good service with extreme kindness.

Ester, Carlo, and Piero are an institution. Always available, and the PANINO is a MUST. I've been eating at their wonderful restaurant for 30 years and still haven't gotten tired of it. Kudos to the Chiari family.

The pizza was dry, burnt, and had a hole in the middle. The service was a bit chaotic, and the appetizers with cured meats were good.

The restaurant is a bit reminiscent of a village oratory, although the prices are in line with regular pizzerias in a slightly better location, the place is almost too vulgar. The pizza is good, but there are many pizzerias that do much better for the same price and in nicer locations. What particularly bothers me are the pizza toppings, which are truly banal. Besides the classic pizzas, which aren't overdone (basil in the Margherita version), they're downright basic, with one or two ingredients on the pizza besides tomato and mozzarella. If there are specialty doughs, they're not listed. I don't remember if they have white pizzas, but very few anyway. Overall, if you really need to eat or spend some time with friends, it's fine. It's also in a nice location, and overall, it's a decent pizzeria, and I'd judge the staff the same way. Edit: When the owners respond rudely to all the "negative" reviews, even though three stars isn't even that low, you realize they have no desire to improve! The funny thing is that even in other reviews, they might be praised but criticized for something, and they only respond to the criticism, having to justify themselves because nothing wrong is ever done or anything that could be improved. Reviews are useful and useful for getting feedback from customers; it's not bullying. That said, rather than feeling offended, take the criticism constructively.

The pizza was good, but the fried food... was to be avoided. I sent it back because it was disgusting. I would have expected it not to be on my bill, but only high-end establishments have that level of class.

Bello il posto in quanto arredamento, ma essendo un ristorante dovrebbero saper cucinare. Ho preso un panino "killer" e faceva schifo, tutta roba preconfezionata e sbattuta a caso nel panino. Male malissimo direi

I'm sorry to write this, but there's nothing worse than leaving a place unsatisfied. I had buffalo mozzarella pizza, and I have to say I didn't like it. I think the mozzarella didn't even taste like buffalo mozzarella, not to mention the tomato. The pizza was very thin, which was a real shame because in previous years the pizza was good.
