My family and I had a fantastic time at Baumhower's in Troy! From the moment we walked in, the exceptional service made us feel welcome. Our food arrived quickly, and every dish was bursting with flavor. I couldn't resist ordering their gigantic burger, which initially seemed like a challenge, but it was so delicious that I devoured it with ease. The restaurant's layout is thoughtfully designed with large tables and spacious seating, ensuring everyone has plenty of room to enjoy their meal comfortably. Baumhower's Victory Grille in Troy has quickly become my go-to spot for dining, and for good reason. The service here is top-notch; the staff is friendly, attentive, and they make you feel right at home. The food is where Baumhower's truly shines. Whether you're craving classic American favorites or something with a Southern twist, their menu has it all. The wings are a must-try—cooked to perfection and with a variety of delicious sauces to choose from. The burgers are also fantastic, juicy and flavorful. They even have great options for vegetarians. The sports bar atmosphere adds to the experience, especially if you're looking to catch a game while enjoying your meal. The place buzzes with energy and enthusiasm, making it a great spot for sports fans. Another pleasant surprise is how well-kept everything is, including the bathrooms. Cleanliness is definitely a priority here, which is always appreciated. Overall, Baumhower's Victory Grille is a gem in Troy. Great service, delicious food, a lively sports bar ambiance, and clean facilities make it a winner in my book. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's definitely worth a visit.

Great atmosphere and good food. Only issue I had, and it wasn't a deal breaker to me. Sitting at the bar, the bartender was making a drink and slung water on my girlfriend and I. He was unaware of it. and I didn't bring it to his attention. We both laughed it off.

I have come here a handful of times and always really enjoy it. Food is usually fresh and hot! Today was no exception. Food was quite good and I like the low prices. Only issue this evening was, I think someone was in the kitchen dinging a bell way too often. They play too much and it got annoying. Aside from them, a good experience!

We are traveling and gave Baumhowers a try! It was very good! But what made it better was the Bartender Kayla! We ate at the Bar and she was amazing! Definitely get the wings!!

First time going here this past weekend with family. My husband ordered the Victory burger and this photo does not do justice. This thing was massive! And delicious 😋 ! Service was , meh. The waitress was very sweet, but probably new and just felt awkward at times. Refills took quite a while to get. And not sure why but when she brought is refill for tea, she only brought tea from another glass without any ice in it. Kept forgetting to give us straws. Food was delicious, but my chicken breast (which I did not take a photo of) wasn't as big as the menu knocked it up to be. I came in wanting a Ceasar salad, but there wasn't one on the menu. Waah😣...I would still definitely come back. Sweet potato fries were probably my fave. One son had the kids wings (4) and fries, and the other had a burger and fries. Both were very satisfied.

I loved the food in this place. The servers were super friendly and although I like my chicken breast a little bit more on the juicy side, this was definitely not too bad in terms of flavor. Recommended to go for sure.

The food was good and not very spicy. Even though they were not busy, several tables were full of dirty dishes the whole time we were there. My plate was chipped. The service and the food was very good. There’s lots of televisions!

We sat at the bar area. Kayla was great! She was so sweet and attentive. We had the Gooey Chargrilled Chicken and Chips; they were a little on the salty side and some of the pieces of chicken could’ve been cooked a little longer. The Fire Roasted Wings were a bit on the salty side as well but still decent enough to eat. The Gooey Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich was pretty standard for a grilled chicken sandwich. The curly fries were good too but just too seasoned for my liking. We’ll be back to try some other menu items and tell them easy on the salt.

We were seated quickly, we ate from the economy buster menu. Overall food was average to above average, service was fast and friendly. Would recommend if you are tired of chain restaurants and want to try something different

The food here was pretty dang good, loving the vibe, a great place to watch a game/fight. They ran out of silverware, which was weird. Here goes. Nice portions!!! Sweet potato fries: get them Shrimp etouffee: oh yeah!!! Bit salty, But oh well, more sweet tea. Sweet tea: yes!! Wings: get them, really good Naan philly cheesesteak: pretty good and savory. Cobbler: ok FRIED. BANANA. PUDDING: YOU MUST DO THIS!!!!!! SOOOOOO GOOD. I'll go back JUST for that thang, IMG SOO GOOD. I'll definitely be back for sure, Sustain.

Service was terrible. Clueless waiter, disappeared for 15-20 mins at a time, took forever to come to our table. Daughter’s roast beef was cold, they did remake it. Everyone there was nice, just no clue about how to actually operate efficiently.

I’ve tried to give this place a chance twice now, traveling to Troy for business. 1st trip we sat at the bar to be waited on. Bartender was rude from the get go, drinks weren’t made right and after we tried to get them remade, we got met with even uglier behavior. It got to the point we asked the bar back to wait on us instead and make our drinks. Spoke to the manager this trip about it as well when we were asked why we wanted the bar back for service. 2nd trip we sat at a table near the bar instead. Our waitress was great, food was decent (both trips) but again drinks had to be sent back twice (same bartender from first visit FYI). After we sent them back the second time we just switched to water and finished our food as quick as we could to move on for the night somewhere else. Manager came to speak with us and told her we just wanted to send it back and we already tried to address it twice now. During this time we observed another waitress bring a drink back from another table for the same reason and watched the bartender throw a fit in front of customers at the bar and made the waitress take the original drink back to the table 🤦‍♂️ I can say until they fix their rude, condescending and abusive bartender we won’t be back next time we’re in town.

The waitress was awful. A beer & a shot took 15 minutes, but before that came she actually came back and asked if we needed anything to snack on before lunch, nope, not before we get a drink. At that time we ordered our food, me fish tacos and curly fries, my wife got some rice and shrimp in sauce and upgraded to fet some whole shrimp also. That took around 25 minutes before it came. 1 couple that arrived at the same time as us and 1 that came way after we sat down we're eating before we got ours. My tacos were Luke warm, my fries were cold. My wife's rice and gravy was too salty and she took 1 bite from a shrimp and said it tasted like they fried them in bad oil. She sat there at least 20 minutes before our waitress Asley showed up again and asked how things were. Not good, oh, if I would have showed up sooner I could have gotten you something else to eat. Yep you could have. Our neighbors had their waitress come by around 10 times to ours never. I ate my tacos cause I was really hungry and shared them with my wife. We don't know if we'll ever go back. And if we do, I'll make sure we're not in Ashley's station. Good luck

Another disappointing meal at this restaurant. Service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to take our beverage orders. I specifically asked for the fried mozzarella to come out well before the meals so we would have time to eat it. That didn’t happen! Meals came and I had to ask multiple times for a condiment. Coleslaw NEVER came with our meals. And it wasn’t even that busy!!!

My coworkers and I went to lunch here on 1/9/26. While we were seated, one of my coworkers noticed a bug crawling behind my head. We immediately informed our waitress, who was very polite, and asked to speak with the manager. When the manager came to the table, we explained that we had just killed a flying roach. The manager acknowledged the situation but only said, “Thanks for letting me know,” and did not take any immediate action. We were then served our food, and about 15 minutes later the manager had the waitress ask if we wanted to move to another table. At that point, the damage was already done. If there was a bug at our table, it raised concerns about the cleanliness of the entire dining area. Overall, the situation was handled poorly and made for an uncomfortable dining experience.

Terrible restaurant. The entire meal was bad. Sum it up with the dessert. A blackberry cobbler made from Alabama’s state fruit. So it’s a cobbler served in an old drug-sore ice cream glass. Not a cobbler and not how you serve cobbler! A few warmed/microwaved blackberries in the bottom of a glass and covered with ice cream and whip cream. Absolutely shameful! Any true southerner can make cobbler, can you? … or a hamburger or anything else? Just unbelievable really. Will never go back.
