This place is a whole vibe and Jordan, the bartender, is too awesome. We enjoyed the pizza and the beverages and magical atmosphere. Excited to catch a show someday. Loved getting the scoop on the history of the place too. The veggie Detroit style pizza is seriously the best veggie pizza I have ever had. 12 out of ten stars. The jalapeño poppers were also pretty great. Definitely plan to be back and make this a hangout as newbies to Troy.

The chef Toli makes the best food and makes sure my dog always has a snack. All of the bartenders rock my socks off! I may be biased but the trivia host is sooo good, every Tuesday I’m entertained! This bar is awesome, best pizza and vibes in Troy.

. The bartender Eric was very personal, very down to earth, knowledgeable. Great bartender, great server. Solid bar food with an expanding menu and soon to be live entertainment. Thier prices are very reasonable and healthy portions. The place has a very cool, old school vibe to it. Will definitely be back soon.

Two of her fingers are taped together—her pinkie broke when it got caught in the heavy refrigerator door. But she keeps up the same pace she always has. The same responsibilities weigh on her, the same bills wait at home. And when you go to El Dorado, order a beer, and get the $8 pepperoni Detroit-style pizza combo, you help Esmeralda feel a twinge of hope at 5 a.m. as she wakes up to the light of a single harsh white light bulb, pulls on her coat, and begins the cold walk across the plains to the plant on the edge of town.

Eric gave me a high life, but also gave an atmosphere that I was living the high life. All star quality at the El. Eric, Matty and Toli give the best customer experience

This wizard of oz place is the best. Requested a specific beer, they got it for me. Awesome atmosphere. Friendly staff. The dogs are cool too. The pizza will make you slap your mom.

If you want to have a good time this is the place to be in Troy, NY. Great atmosphere and drinks at a reasonable price point. The live music and food are just great value adds to this historic old school vibe establishment.

i went to the bar with my friends. all we needed was a quick break and a water before we started to drink again. All i was doing was sitting down in the bar that does not say i have to buy something to sit and i was asked to leave because i haven’t bought a drink yet. my friends and i were asked to leave for using a bar for its exact purpose, catching up with friends and planning on ordering a drink. i am beyond appalled that an owner of a bar would ask people to leave due to the fact i was sitting for 10 minutes and still haven’t ordered a drink. you were open. there was other people in your bar and yet you felt the need to ask people to leave because you were making instant money gratification. I hope you lose your service when people realize how scummy and unprofessional this establishment acts. if you don’t want people to relax and enjoy their night at your bar so you can make your profit, shut it down. it’s ridiculous.

Staff member told my DD he needed to buy drinks or get out. Even after explaining he was driving. Hadn’t been at the bar for 5 minutes. Happy to leave. First time there and will never be back. Bad business
