Very happy we chose to dine here. The staff were all very friendly. The restaurant decor is stylish and comfortable. And the food was amazing. The Salmon with Lion's Mane mushrooms over a Parsnip purée was spectacular! It was served at proper temperature as soon as it was plated. The Scallops with Pork Belly and small Lobster claws was tasty as well. The Citrus Olive Oil cake for dessert is definitely worth trying! Looking forward to many returns!

We recently hosted my sister’s bridal shower at The Roosevelt Room, and it was absolutely amazing. The space is gorgeous, the food was fresh and delicious, and the service truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, Mike (the owner) and his team were incredibly helpful—helping us unload decorations, rearrange the room to fit our vision, and making sure everything was set up perfectly. Throughout the event, the staff was attentive and thoughtful, constantly checking in to keep drinks filled, coffee warm, and guests happy. They played a great background playlist and were happy to adjust it if needed. Everyone left saying how beautiful the event was and how much they enjoyed themselves. I wouldn’t hesitate to host another event here!

We had my daughter’s baby shower here last week. It was such a beautiful venue. Everyone loved the food, service (was outstanding) atmosphere and even the music they had playing was classy. It was all top notch. It was more intimate the generic banquet type places. It was nice to have the whole place to ourselves. Being on a Sunday we also had the entire parking lot available making it easy to unload all our decor and at the end easy to load the gifts and stuff as we backed up right at the entrance. And no stairs! Linda, who we worked with was always quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with.

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable — you can come here for a date night, celebration, or just to treat yourself to something special. The food is outstanding — every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You can tell the chef takes real pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The drinks were just as impressive — well-balanced cocktails with top-shelf ingredients and creative twists that pair perfectly with the food. The service was exceptional too — friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling overbearing. It’s rare to find a restaurant that nails food, drinks, and hospitality all at once, but this place does exactly that.

This is the second time we dined here and it was another amazing meal. Special shoutout to the impeccable service. I saw on Friday night they had a Lobster Wellington special so I messaged them on social media to see if they were going to have it on Saturday night. They said they sold out, but would look into getting more. As I was walking in tonight I received a message that they were able to get me one order for dinner tonight. Now that’s amazing service. Amazing experience! Menu is eclectic yet well appointed; I truly believe the Roosevelt Room has something to satisfy every palate. The service was impeccable; our server (Alexa?) was attentive w/o being intrusive; friendly and engaging. It’s a nice touch when the chef (Michael) visits your table to get real time feedback. This was a special dinner for me and my family. I think it would be an excellent date night dinner as well. Sure to impress whomever you bring. Will definitely be returning soon!

My fiancé and I went for Mother's Day dinner and we were super impressed! The food was phenomenal and the service was great. I definitely recommend the bone marrow for an appetizer and the veal chop and scallops for a main. The chop was so tender and cooked perfectly... plus the cherry pepper sauce was delicious with just the right amount of heat. The scallops were so tender and the corn sauce was luscious and delightful. There are so many interesting items on the menu it is definitely a place that we will be going back to just to sample all the dishes. They do a 5 course Chef's Tasting Menu for $94 Monday-Thursday and on Sunday. Also, they have $1 oysters on Thursdays, which can be ordered at the bar or in the dining room.

Every dish we had tonight was absolutely spectacular! "The Georges Bank Sea Scallops", in particular, were a standout the corn cream paired with the scallops was incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced. The service was equally impressive, warm and attentive from start to finish. If anyone asks me where to celebrate in Albany, this will be my first recommendation without a doubt!

If you are looking for an incredible meal and top notch service then look no further. My wife and I had a fantastic meal at the The Roosevelt Room. Every bite had us saying WOW. As you can see we had a little bit of everything. Started the meal with some wine and scotch. The bar menu had many options for everyone. Then decided to indulge in the appetizers with a few courses starting with the Steak Tartare, the special Potato Pave (thinly sliced potatoes & cheese fried in duck fat and garnished w/ caviar), then Short Rib Dumplings, and lastly Roasted Bone Marrow... my favorite. For entrees we had the Filet of Atlantic Halibut & a 22 oz. Bone in Ribeye. Forgot to take a picture of the Duck Fat Fried Rice side dish but I highly recommend ordering it. And if you thought that was enough then you don't know me... DESSERT! Chocolate Crunch Bar, Creme Brulee, Citrus Olive Oil Cake with a Latte and Brandy Alexander. The service was amazing, thank you Javier, and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. Chelsea and I enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. If you are looking for a place to celebrate any special occasion we highly recommend The Roosevelt Room.

Enjoyed a fantastic experience, drinks and wine list reasonably priced for the selection and creativity of the drinks. Started with the short rib dumplings, rich and bold flavor that also went well with the brightness of the second selection of the carpaccio with foie gras mousse, both fantastic. Their bread is warm, crusty and served with a homemade butter…delicious! We were offered an amuse bouche deviled egg topped with caviar…lovely treat. Dinner selections we chose were the seabass with a butternut purée and roasted beets and the halibut, both fish choices were cooked to perfection and the ingredients flavor showed through in every perfect bite. You can order sides but we were so satisfied with the choices as they were and the portions were excellent, did not want to get too full. Service was top notch, it’s refreshing to see the owner and the chef so involved and making their rounds to see each table and ask how everything is. Michael was kind and generous as was his talented chef. Excellent experience and excellent menu. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to the Roosevelt room.

From the elevated ambiance, lighting & decor to the perfectly curated cocktails that were as beautiful as they were delicious, to the caviar service, appetizers, main dishes and desserts (not to mention the wine pairings suggested by our waiter through out) it truly was an experience that I have not had in the greater Upstate NY area in over a decade. We felt like we were out at one of the most posh NYC scenes, and the food was incredible. I cannot recommend the caviar service enough. The presentation of the Caviar surrounded by all the accoutrements, was perfection. I could taste the quality and freshness of the Tuna in the tuna rice bites, and they were so light but flavorful. We chose to share the Wagyu Steak which was pre- sliced, on a wood cutting board, and sea salt on the side which when sprinkled on each bite, took the taste to another level. It was cooked exactly the way we wanted, the presentation was incredible making it truly way better than any steak I’ve had in this area, including where I live - Saratoga! This steak alone was worth the 35 minute drive down! It was served with their famous whipped potato puree, which we joked should be illegal, it was THAT GOOD. We also split the Chilean Sea Bass, which was rich in both portion and flavor. At this point, we didn’t think it would be possible to eat anything else we were so satisfied- BUT the desserts that we saw come out to other tables, looked too amazing NOT to try! If you like Creme Brûlée, this one was off the charts. As for the pistachio cheesecake, that was an experience! Both were so delectable, but not heavy feeling, super light and again the quality matched the presentation- just next level! My girlfriends and I are absolutely planning the next night out here, yes, even from Saratoga! I am also already booking a date night reservation so my boyfriend can try that steak! The service was also impeccable, even though the restaurant felt so high end, it was also a comfortable space, with such a relaxed easy feel because of the incredible waitstaff and management that were as nice as they were knowledgeable about the menu. I give the Rosevelt Room the highest of ratings possible- I cannot wait to go back!

This place was incredible! No detail goes unnoticed. All of the food we ate was phenomenal. My wife and I ordered three appetizers and two entrées and everything was delicious. They executed at a very high level in this restaurant in all aspects, cocktails, food, service, ambience. It is pricey, but as well worth the bill in my opinion!

We visited The Roosevelt Room for Valentine’s Day and every part of the experience was amazing. We enjoyed a well paced meal with kind and attentive staff, along with the best steak we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the crab cake as well! High quality and filling food, without being heavy, and a great atmosphere!

Fantastic service from start to finish. The maître d’/host provided exceptional assistance even before we arrived, calling to confirm our reservation after noticing it had been mistakenly made for the bar rather than the dining room. Upon arrival, he arranged a table for us with only a five-minute wait at the bar. Service throughout the evening was exemplary. The bartenders were prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. Our waitress was both attentive and well-informed. Her recommendations were spot on and thoroughly enjoyed. The food was excellent, and the kitchen’s willingness to accommodate our food allergies was appreciated. The desserts, including the bespoke dishes accommodating food allergies, were delicious. This will be first reservation booked when we return to the area.

Brought my out of town family members here for a special evening together. They, being world travelers , have experienced many many different cuisines in their travels. Every meal from the veal chop to the steaks and appetizers were absolutely amazing. The service and attention to every detail was second to none. The chef came to our table and we enjoyed a wonderful conversation about his cooking style and many other interesting topics we all seemed to have in common. Afterwords we all decided that this restaurant could possibly be the best meals we’ve ever had. That’s how incredible the experience was. We even ordered their Lo mein appetizer again to take home for the next day! This is a restaurant you must experience!

The Roosevelt Room absolutely blew us away! We hosted my best friend’s birthday here and they went above and beyond with a special menu just for the occasion. Every dish was flawless — gorgeous plating, amazing flavors, and truly unforgettable. The service was top-notch, the staff made us feel so celebrated, and the atmosphere was the perfect mix of elegant and lively. We had the best time and I can’t recommend this place enough. First time visit. Beautiful space, but was disappointed by the service and the atmosphere. First, the space and location: space is beautiful but the location has its challenges. It’s in a strip mall, and the entire front wall of the restaurant is clear glass windows with no coverings or shades. Any time a car would turn on within the vicinity of the restaurant you were hit with their headlights/taillights. Now the experience: Was greeted at the door, and the host was lovely. Sat at the bar, no reservation. There was a bartender right in front of me who made eye contact but walked away and proceeded to chat with a group of three - four other servers at the end of the bar. A few minutes later, a different server came back and greeted me. As someone who has worked as a server in the industry for years, I was beyond disappointed. While the service was fine, and the food was good (got the shrimp cocktail), I felt rushed and unwelcome. Needless to say I don’t anticipate going back.
