Amazing dining experience! Friendly service and very attentive. Mexican food is very authentic. Staff is very attentive to your needs and can make suggestions on must have plates. I highly recommend the Volcano Tacos (so good they were gone before a they got a chance at a photo). Will come again!

Dropped by here with a few friends on a Monday eve at 830pm- It was pack and for good reason. I ordered a michalada to start. It was delicious!! I will definitely come back for these on my next trip to reno. I had the carnitas platter with pinto beans and rice. My friend had the chicken chimichanga with beans and rice. Both plates didn't stand a chance to see a Togo box.

My first time at Casa Baeza, my wife and I enjoyed the experience, song, dance, drink, and food. The chips and salsa was amazing, I added some habanero salsa to mine because why not? 😃 But let me back up a bit, the entrance and the mood set from outside to the walk in was quite thrilling, the artwork around the restaurant, the subtle details you may miss if you aren't paying attention, definitely a place when you make multiple visits you will find something new each time. The staff was friendly, professional, and a riot at times 🤣 we enjoyed the drinks, shots and house margaritas. We ordered asada tacos, I took time to dress mine up with grilled jalapenos and added my salsa mix I created on the spot using the ingredients available, that's a pro tip I might share next time 😃 Every ingredient was perfect, I don't say this often. From the beginning to the end the experience was full of flavor and story. I can see why there is a vibe of love and passion in this place. Thank you from Andrew and Vanessa. You guys are amazing and I will be back ❤️❗

Went with my good friend and we ordered some street tacos. Wished there were refried beans, but the shrimp tacos were LEGIT! The chipotle salsa was sooo good. I would go back for that alone. It was a busy night, so service was all over the place and the place is very tiny, so would recommend eating earlier or be ready to wait.

Great vibes and decent food. I’ve had better Mexican food before but it was still enjoyable. Respectable prices and friendly staff, though the salsa was very runny and the food took quite a while to be cooked. Really cool water pitchers too!

Group of 4 ate there and the service was horribly slow. We went at a not busy time 4:00 and there were only 2-3 tables and at least 2 servers. Put salsa on the table and waited 10 minutes for chips??? Finally took order and that took forever too. Two chicken taco salads were ordered and one was noticeable bigger than the other. Turns out the big one was fish and then we had to wait for the correct chicken replacement. Two orders needed flour tortillas and food came and then sitting waiting for the tortillas. thus the 2 service star rating

We were seated promptly upon arrival, which was a positive first impression. The interior decor was really awesome. The food was decent, though not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. Despite the restaurant not being busy, there was a significant delay before our order was taken. One of our dishes was missed, and our server did not check in with us at any point during the meal. With improved attentiveness and communication from the staff, the overall dining experience could be improved.

Hard to find parking on a busy Saturday afternoon. First the food: The food had great flavor. We got the jalapeno peppers and the nachos starters. The poppers had really good flavor, deep fried. The Nachos were also good in flavor. The portion however was rather small. We ordered the additional chicken (2 or 3 bucks) and felt totally fleeced. There were 3 meager threads of chicken and that was very disappointing. Savory but disappointingly underserved. The Margarita was good and strong. We liked it. The service experience was mixed. We noticed the tables were not sanitized (in light of covid) some of them not even wiped with the classic old dirty rag. That was scary and concerning. Our initial waitress mixed up our drink order and told us what we ordered was not available. The next waiter was excellent, however, revealing that the previous waitress simply lied to our faces. He then really addressed our requests and made up for the bad first impression.

My sister recommended this place. Service was great, no waiting for a table and servers were prompt. Ordered two chicken enchilada combo with rice and beans. One enchilada only had one bite of chicken. I sliced it open to see a couple of tiny bits. Beans were passable but rice taste was best described as musty. Mexican is my favorite food, this was the worst I've ever had.

Came back just for the fries appetizer. It was like eating raw potatoes. Saw server like 3 times while there. Not worth the hour drive we took just to come here. Waste of a night.

Walked in to a busy restaurant! Immediately sat down at the bar and waited around for 15-25 minutes without receiving any service. The bartender acknowledged us but did not offer or ask us for drinks or a menu or anything at all. Wild. And don’t recommend.

The worst Mexican food and Paloma cocktail I have ever had. My cocktail tasted like it came out of a can. My husband ordered a Margarita. Not much better. I had the chimichanga and the guacamole was made with over ripe avocados. The whole thing was a very bad experience.
