Me gusto el concepto de librería con café ya que en tulum no se encuentra otro así, el lugar es relativamente pequeño pero la atmósfera es muy buena y la decoración ayuda a crear un ambiente propicio para la lectura, en cuanto a su café probé el expreso y es bueno y como plus lo acompañan de un chocolate, recomiendo visitarlo

Beautiful atmosphere and a delicious americano. The back patio has another secret area which overlooks a small garden. Spent the afternoon here reading, and enjoyed the atmosphere. + 🙂‍↕️🍉.

I stopped by here to get a refreshing, sweet beverage after lunch. I really like used bookstores and this place has that perfect cozy ambiance, even has a resident cat. The staff was friendly and helpful but the cold chocolate drink I ordered wasn't sweet at all (but maybe that's how it's supposed to be 🤷‍♀️). Slightly disappointed by the drink but love the vibe and ample seating.

Cara Feliz quickly became one of my favorite spots. The avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had, I loved it so much I had to come back for more! Everything is made with top-quality ingredients, and the customer service is excellent. The coffee is solid, the desserts are delicious, and the air-conditioned space is both comfortable and welcoming, perfect for working or just relaxing. Highly recommend

A cozy cafe with great drinks and hosts. We spent a rainy day in their library room. The resident cat tolerates humans and sleeps a lot. They have a 2 for 1 drink deal (must be same drink) and lots of food and coffee options. We enjoyed our stay in this hidden cafe filled with books and charm.

Really unique chill spot in town. Love the vibe and the books. The music and furniture and the cat, it’s straight out of a classic novel. Reminded me of a famous book store in Paris called Shakespeare & Co. It’s kind small and intimate spot but occasionally you’re hear loudly speaking people going about their business which is fine all things considered. Really great place with great smoothies and again, i love the vibe. Go get a window seat when it rains and contemplate all the stories that were told around you. It’s inspiring and a unique necessity in town.

Encontramos esta cafetería porque buscamos un lugar para trabajar, hay letreros que te dicen que debes de tener un consumo mínimo, pero la señorita nos indicó que mientras consumiremos constantemente no era necesario. Había un gatito muy bonito, conexión a wifi, luz y muchos libros. También hacen temáticas grupales cada día de la semana. En el baño regalaban condones 😜.

Mi combinación favorita es letras y tintos. Este lugar además tiene café y dulces postres. Es un lugar pequeño con muchos libros, estos es absolutamente genial. Compré dos, uno en italiano y otro en francés. Hay libros de todo tipo, género e idiomas. Si consumes, puedes leer alguno mientas disfrutas de tu café, tu lunch o una copa de vino. Como son libros de segunda mano son muy accesibles. También te permiten llevar libros y te los cambian por crédito para comprar en la tienda. El concepto me encantó. El café sin duda es delicioso. Yo pedí un americano, tenía mis reservas porque suelen ser o ácidos o muy ligeros, este era como un café express - americano, con un sabor delicioso, que fácilmente me hubiera podido tomar tres tazas (pero no hay que abusar). Los precios son muy razonables. Tulum suele ser caro, y este lugar hasta barato me pareció. Hay muy pocos lugares en interior para poder quedarte a leer, el patio se ve que es un espacio más amplio y agradable, pero hoy estaba lloviendo. Sin duda regresaré pronto.

Hermosa cafetería, tiene deferentes zonas ( 2 bajo techo y una en un jardín ) cada detalle es lindo. Venden diferentes cosas perfectas para regalar, también tiene muchos libros. El gatito es todo cariñoso, nos comentaron que realizan diferentes actividades en la semana. La comida deliciosa y los cafés. Lo único es mejorar más el servicio al cliente.

La comida estaba exquisita al igual que los café, me pedí un affogato y tenía una hermosa presentación, los avocado toast y unas papitas fritas que estaban deliciosos!!! El lugar es un estilo “a la antigua” se ve medio desordenado ciertos espacios pero si quieres ir a trabajar tienen un mini cowork donde hay menos ruido, el wifi es rápido y funciona sin problemas. En cuanto al servicio, pongo 4 estrellas porque solo tienen un baño, a veces la música está muy fuerte, a demás que cuando los que atienden entran y salen del cowork no cierran totalmente la puerta y entra en ruido, sin exagerar me parece 5 veces a cerrar la puerta porque la dejaban junta, a demás que se meten los mosquitos. De todas maneras es algo mejorable, y volvería a ir ya que sus precios son buenos no tan elevados y la comida está muy rica!

Linda y amplia cafetería, con area de jardín y espacio de co-working, variedad de libros en español e ingles, viernes de Karaoke, tienen diferentes actividades muy lindo. Incluso si eres cliente frecuente te dan una tarjetita para marcar los cafecitos que te tomas y cuando concluyes te regalan uno. Mis únicas recomendaciones es mejorar en cuanto a la limpieza del lugar. También, la verdad que lo del consumo mínimo de 100 pesos por hora en el area de trabajo me parece que podría ser más justo porque es exagerado, no olviden mejorar la atención al cliente, me dijeron “no te preocupes nosotros vamos a tu mesa no es necesario que pidas en la barra” pero después de 30 min tuvimos que pedir en la barra porque nadie nos atendió. Y para mi mala suerte no nos funciono ninguna de las dos conexiones de Wifi que estaban ahí. Esperamos puedan mejorar porque tienen potencial. Pd. Lindo gatitos :3

No tengo nada en contra de los animales, pero hay un gato en toda la cafetería y muchos pelos en el aire, si eres alérgico o asmático este lugar no es ideal para ti, tuve que retirarme por qué empezó a darme alergia de tanto pelo, el servicio es un poco descuidado todo el personal estaba en hora de comida y nadie nos atendía.

The place is nice, but the service was disappointing. I waited more than an hour for a simple dish without any update, only after 60 minutes was I told there was a delay. They offered a drink on the house, which was a nice gesture, but it didn’t make up for the long wait. the atmosphere is pleasant but the service just doesn’t meet the standard expected from a cafe..

Mis amigxs y yo decidimos desayunar en esta cafetería porque tenía excelentes recomendaciones, gatos y libros. La verdad fue decepcionante que tardaran casi dos horas en traernos cuatro bebidas, dos tostadas y una galleta. Sobre todo porque éramos lxs únicxs clientes. Aunque los alimentos estuvieron ricos, la espera nos arruinó la experiencia.

Scam alert. I followed some A-frame signage thinking it was a cool place. Unfortunately we got scammed. On the menu it had a 2 for 1 deal for Cuba Libre (Rum and Coke), for $200 pesos. That's reasonable I think. I pointed to what I wanted on the menu, and I wanted to pay immediately but the waitress said I have to pay at the end. We only stayed for the one round thankfully, because when I went to pay, the total was $400 pesos which is astronomical for two rum and cokes I showed the waitress the menu and said I ordered the 2-for-1 deal, even pointed it out (again). The waitress argued with me saying it didn't apply. (This was not marked as a happy hour special). She insisted it was $400 pesos (about $30 Canadian), which is ASTRONOMICAL and asinine for Tulum. I ended up paying it (let's be real, what am I going to do as a white tourist man arguing with a local woman?). My advice is just avoid this place altogether, or pay up front. This was the only bad experience my wife and I had in Tulum. The worst part is that the drinks were not even particularly good. The atmosphere is unique and interesting, but unfortunately we didn't go back during our 10-day stay, because of the scam.
