Great service, friendly and bilingual! We didn’t eat much but what we had was excellent! Full view of the kitchen so you can see everything is freshly made. The plating is exceptional, creative but functional. Extensive drinks menu and full bar with both cocktail classics and homegrown creations.

Marem is a delightful experience. Its a hidden gem. Right from being welcomed to the time we left, the service was on point. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Cocktails were great. But what elevated the experience was the food. Each and every dish we ordered was better than the other, the food kept getting better and better. Highly recommend the Tikka Masala taco’s here, they were definitely the best best tacos I’ve had in Tulum.

Worth a visit!!! ⭐️ Our waiter was Alej and he definitely demonstrates the difference between a good and a great waiter! He pays attention to you and shows professionalism. We are amazed by the presentation of the food and the whole place is beautifully decorated! Almost has a feeling of an ‘affordable Michelin star’ restaurant! We would come back here anytime!

Honestly my favorite dinner in Tulum! The prices are very reasonable and the food is top notch! We tried so many different dishes and honestly everything was amazing! We had a new waiter from Argentina (I can't remember his name) but he was so so wonderful and helpful and kind! We loved everything about this place.... so sad that we discovered it on our last day in Tulum! If you are in Tulum Marem is a must!!!!

Creative Mexican cuisine and nice service as they adjusted a dish for us to our food restrictions. It’s definitely on pricier side, but in line with what you get. The only thing is that we didn’t like the goat cheese dessert that much, but it seems it’s a general issue in all restaurants we have done so far in Mexico 😅

Amazing food! Highly recommend! We reached at ~7 and the place wasn’t crowded. We tried the avocado leaf fry, octopus ceviche and beetroot salad for appetizers. The beetroot salad was absolutely phenomenal and the best one I have ever had. For main we tried the grilled banana, squid and mushroom tacos which were all phenomenal too. The grilled banana tacos were the best! The cocktails were strong and tasted great. Staff was very friendly. Service was nice, portion size is good too. They didn’t have some items listed on the menu, but whatever we got didn’t disappoint at all.

I came here for breakfast almost everyday while in Tulum. A lot of options to choose from. Our waiter Tino was awesome. For dinner, I had probably the best sashimi I’ve ever tasted. So fresh and full of flavors. The interior decor really stood out

We stayed at aloft tulum and we came by coincidence just looking for a quick bite before bed. We were shocked and surprised by the incredibly tasty food here, but not only that, the service and atmosphere is great! I highly recommend the octopus tacos, the rib eye and the shitake tacos, AMAZING! The best part ? The tortillas! They are hand made with a mixed corn, ufff… loved them, my wife and I had at least 3 orders !

We’re so happy we landed at Marem Tulum! What an amazing experience it was, the staff was absolutely fantastic; very friendly, helpful & super accommodating! From the bar experience with Diego to the cuisine of Chef Marco & Jesus with the Owner Santiago you will not have a better overall dinner anywhere in Tulum. This is a “must” go to place & worth every peso! Take it from people “in the business”.

Simply WOW!! I had the pleasure of visiting MAREM 9/2/2022 during my bday trip. We stayed in the Aloft hotel next door and were out walking...the great host Roberto came over to Welcome us! He showed me the menu and we came back the last night of our stay. So glad we did...We had the opportunity to experience a 6 course meal along with 2 signature drinks. Our host for the evening was Cristobal. He advised he was new but he was so well informed of the specialty menu and had great customer service you would never know. The visiting chef's and bartender did a fantastic job! Food and drinks were Amazing and most definitely unique!! We'll most definitely be back for our next visit to Tulum!!

Hands down the best mezcalita I’ve ever had. We asked for something extra smokey and our waiter found us the perfect mezcal. The restaurant is still really new so they have great deals, and it’s never too crowded which is great. Roberto was also really nice and welcoming. I loved the short rib! The food is yummy but even if you aren’t hungry, come here to have a mezcalita on the patio! 🥂

We went here to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and met Roberto who I believe is the owner. The food here is exquisite. The unique combinations and flavors will leave even the most discerning foodie wanting more. The ambiance was well suited; modern urban chic jungle. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We arrived early to eat since we were flying out early the following morning. Roberto let us relax at a table and enjoy cocktails until their kitchen was open. Our server was equally kind, a consummate professional. They could charge double and it would still be a value.

Nice to find a restaurant in Tulum that's trying something new and innovative, and making it work. The menu here is really well thought out and offers something that's just a bit different - but really tasty. Cocktails are the same, offering something you might not typically order but very pleased when you do. My cocktail was maybe a little large, but the taste was great. Favourite dish was the tikka masala tacos, really didn't expect to see that on a menu - but very happy to have now tried it.

This was our best culinary experience in Tulum! We found it by chance but wow what an awesome concept. Great food: quesabirria, squid tacos, everything. Great drinks: very good choices for Mexican artisanal beers and cocktails with local ingredients. The staff (gracias Antonio) will teach you about all the ingredients and process for classic Mexican dishes, cocktails and artisnal beers. The staff was so kind and friendly, they celebrated my birthday a day before because they'd be close on the actual day and my girlfriend and I were already planning to come back :-) When in Tulum you gotta try this new awesome place!

The food is absolutely amazing: some Mexican classics and some with twists. The quesabirria is to die for! Absolutely the best meal we had in Tulum. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Highly recommended!

This is a very new restaurant and it was a fabulous find! We shared the watermelon salad to start and it was delicious. Then I had the Thai chicken tacos and my partner had the tikka masala tacos. The Thai chicken tacos were more like lettuce wraps. All the food was absolutely delicious and we highly recommend stopping in here for a meal. Great service as well.

Small and pretty place. The waitress was really kind and nice, he knew the menu very well and knew his well stuff. The food was really good, everything was tasty, but the portions were really small, for the price you would imagine something a bit bigger. The time for drinks and food was ok. The presentation is very pretty. The only thing was at the end, the waitress just charged as much tip as he wanted, he did not even ask or suggest anything, that ruined how great he had been that far. But I think that's a regular practice in Tulum, always check your bill and how much they charge you.
