We had drinks and appetizers during happy hour and really could no have asked for a better experience! The food here was just amazing! We had a sample of the Truffle croquettes to start, and they were so creamy and delicious that we ordered a full serving! We also had the fish croquettes which were delicious too! The service was also a delight. Our waiter, Jesus, was wonderfully courteous and attentive. Lastly, the manager, Sabastion, was charming and lovely to spend time with in this absolutely beautiful place.

Downstairs from my Airbnb; how lucky was my group and I. between dinner and expressos throughout the day, Christian took care of us and the food was great. Definitely recommend. En tótem me sentí como si estaría cenando en Italia. Los platos muy ricos . Pastas y pizzas elaboradas a mano me hicieron viajar a mi amada Sicilia. El ambiente delicadamente ambientado , fresco y con vibra joven . Danielle y su staff estuvieron en cada detalle y atento a todas mis necesidades . Tienen variedad de platos veganos también . Most interesting neighborhood. I don’t feel like I’m in Mexico. Which in turn is kinda sad but if you want modern with a big French community.. you’ll love it. The pizza was amazing! The ravioli even better. Friendly waitstaff. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic meal! Was a nice change of pace for an Italian meal. It was just superb. Service was impeccable and did a great job. I got appetizer, meal and dessert and all were tremendous. I will say compared some Italian restaurants in the USA that give you more food than 3 people can or should eat, the portions that Totem served were just the right size I am not a small guy. Highly recommend.

Service schnell, freundlich, zuvorkommend - Die Pizza wird hier in der Gegend sehr gehyped, daher bin ich auch mal hier essen gegangen - Preislich für Aldea Zama schon höher angesiedelt. Sie ist gut 👍 belag schon sehr authentisch an Neapel angelehnt, was mit sehr gut gefallen hat, der Teig war allerdings nicht mehr ganz so authentisch, auch wenn ich sie mit anderen Pizzen aus Italien vergleiche, finde ich da keinen ähnlichen Teig, trotz allem aber ein rundes Geschmackserlebnis. Zum Ambiente: Musik in der richtigen lautstärke, schönes Arrangement mit Bestuhlung und Pflanzen. Hier und da sieht man allerdings die Spuren der Zeit. Abplatzubgen von Lack, aufgehendes Holz, tote Insekten, aber das ist eventuell hier auch nicht zu verhindern.

El restaurante me pareció muy bueno, las porciones están bastante bien servidas, por lo que me parece que la relación precio/calidad es muy buena dada la zona, así como la atención de los meserlos. He de decirles que a mi acompañante no le pareció tan bueno el lugar, entonces pueden tomar un poco con pinzas mi reseña, pero creo que aun así en términos de calidad es un lugar que cumple bastante bien.

The food was very good. We had fish and steak. Plates are very well presented. Service was very friendly and we had a nice chat with him on Tulum's area and community. A little bit on the pricey side but this restaurant is beautiful and comfy and located in the nicest part of Aldea Zama which is a very trendy area of Tulum. We had the Monk fish and the steak and I had a glass of red wine and my partner soda water. Total price was around 1,900 pesos before tip. No mosquitos at night either although there is vegetation around. We were there in February 2024. The only reason why we give a 4 for food is that the steak was cold although the side sauce was warm so it helped. Our waiter was very receptive and apologetic when we told him after the meal and thanked us for our comment. I don't think they will serve cold steaks again (-:

This is a beautiful restaurant and the service was excellent. We were a party of 5 and only two of us had meals they would rave about, and those were pizzas, which are very good. Those who got pasta dishes found them very small, and the risotto was too salty. This was our second visit, a few months ago we had pasta that was quite good and seemed to be enough. They bring a lot of bread to the table, those in our party who ate it were very happy with it. There are nearly no gluten-free options, hence the risotto.

The food was not bad, I ordered a chicken dish (cooked in too much butter but the consistency of the chicken was good) and pizza (a little undercooked but hey, for Italian food in Mexico it wasn’t bad) would come back! Quiet expensive for what you’re getting, but also you’re in a resort area and get a lot of customer service, the waiters are almost trying to befriend you which is a little too much for my liking. The cocktails were a little flat and uninspiring considering it was regular prices back home in the USA/UK, I had a mezcal cocktail that tasted like a french martini and no smokiness or even alchohol came through, I’ve had better, boozier and cheaper in Mexico thats for sure, however the pizzas are damn tasty here, proper flame oven cooked.. had the burrata as a starter, was very creamy and deliciously, fish dish with pasta nicely presented, otherwise I would mark this place higher as it has a nice ambience, just remember to wear bug spray if you are dining outside.

El restaurante es muy bonito y la comida esta bien, nada wow, es muy caro para lo que es. 2 pizzas, una ensalada, 2 pulpos y 4 bebida 2 de ellas alcoholicas más de 3 mil pesos más tip. La sangria sabia más a limonada agria.

El ambiente musical es demasiado alto y nada bueno. En cuanto atención a los comensales falta mucho por mejorar. La cena estuvo bien.

La calidad y el precio no coinciden con lo que ofrecen en su menú, parecen pastas compradas y no caseras.
