We stayed in La Veleta for 4 nights and ended up visiting this place 3 times!! Staff were friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The chimichurri chicken sandwich is the easily the best sandwich we’ve ever had!!😁

We stayed within walking distance to Vereda del Abasto on our trip to Tulum. We found ourselves visiting almost every day for their amazing coffee, almond croissant, and sandwiches. In addition, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by!

I was recommended this little shop from an amazing nomad that I met while in Tulum, and boy she was NOT wrong! The food and coffee were as great as the attendants there. I 100% recommend Vereda if you are in the area. The place itself isn't too spacious but it was all worth it for what I got (as seen in picture). Cherry on top, that homemade hot sauce! Phenomenal! =D

Ever since I saw a picture of the sandwiches here, I’ve been wanting to visit. I could tell it would be amazing, and I wasn’t disappointed. I got their Turkey sandwich on baguette. Every aspect of this sandwich was heavenly. I can’t wait to come back.

Stayed within walking distance and went several mornings for coffee & pastries. Any of the dulce de leche pastries are a must try! The sandwiches, empanadas, and quiche options vary daily and are all delicious. The staff are wonderful. Visit often and you might be lucky enough to meet the sweetest dog, Bruna!

A True Hidden Gem in La Veleta! We 🫶🏼 Vereda From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed by the most wonderful atmosphere and individuals. The aesthetic and ambience are simply perfect—it honestly couldn't get any better. It’s the ideal spot to relax, meet a friend, or get some work done. What truly makes Vereda special are the people. A huge shoutout to Leo, who is amazing! Everyone here simply will make you feel right at home, much love to the individuals here. The coffee is exceptional, high-quality and expertly made. And the pastry cabinet? It's one of the best I've seen! Alongside the fresh pastries, they offer a fantastic selection of fresh goods, including sandwich options and pastas to take home. Vereda Cafe is, without a doubt, a 12 out of 10. I highly recommend checking this place out and making it a regular spot💚🌿☕️

A charming spot in La Veleta, you feel like you’re inside a painting thanks to its vibrant murals. Perfect coffee for breakfast or an afternoon break, great prices, and service with all the good vibes :) Warm, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Located close to shops and walking areas. A must-visit if you’re in Tulum. 10/10.

Coming from New York, we are spoiled with amazing bakeries - yet, everything we had at Vereda’s were incredibly delicious! Definitely one of the best sandwiches we ever had! Pistachio croissant was also heavenly - crispy and flaky croissant with delightfully creamy pistachio filling…, I already dream of it! The cafe is small, but so warm, welcoming, and feel at home. The little outside seating was so relaxing to chill. The staffs were all so nice and friendly. I know there are many amazing cafes in Tulum, but they are the number one we would come back for next time in Tulum!

Loved the food (the pastries, especially the pan con chocolate), loved the Argentinian vibe and the owners. Definitely worth going there for a snack or a drink. Really nice that it has long opening hours, while most cafes in Tulum close at around 3 PM. The interior design is also really nice.

Loved getting a latte here every morning while visiting Tulum, their iced latte was the perfect way to start my day! Excellent service, great atmosphere, and the baked goods were to die for! Highly recommend! ☀️

Vereda is unquestionably my favorite coffee shop in Tulum. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and offered us excellent recommendations beyond the coffee shop during our stay in Tulum. We were staying closer to a different coffee shop but preferred to walk further to Vereda. Also, the sandwiches are exceptional and use high quality ingredients and are assembled with care. We had 3 different sandwiches over the span of 3 days and each one seemed to be better than the last - a true testament to the quality of this cafe. The espresso is also fantastic and pairs well with any of their pastries (shoutout to Vigilante with jam). Thank you to Juan and the staff for making great coffee and giving us great memories - we will be definitely back next time we come to Tulum!

I had such a wonderful experience at Cafe Kaawa in Tulum! Julie, the operator, has created an incredibly welcoming and friendly space that feels like a home away from home. The highlight of my visit was getting to try some authentic Argentinian samplers—farturas and criollitos—along with their delicious coffee and yerba mate. Julie took the time to share her knowledge about mate culture, and I even left with a beautiful little mate mug and a selection of different yerba mates to enjoy. This cafe is not just a place for great food and drinks; it’s also a spot filled with warmth and charm. Whether you’re a yerba mate enthusiast or just looking for a cozy, inviting place to relax, Cafe Kaawa is a must-visit. Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in Tulum!

I absolutely love this place. It has such charming European café vibes, the kind of spot where you could easily sit for hours with a coffee and feel transported. It’s owned by a very kind and welcoming Argentinian man who makes the whole experience even better. He’s genuinely friendly and creates such a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect, just off the main strip in La Veleta. It feels a bit more low key and peaceful, but still has great energy for people watching. It’s also an ideal place to work if you want somewhere quieter without sacrificing ambiance. One of my favorite café finds in Tulum.

We ordered two different coffee drinks, and both were barely drinkable. Having some time available, we got coffees from another cafe after, not finishing the ones from here. The smoothie was good though, and guy who made all 3 drinks was friendly. Not sure if it was an off day, or if the ownership may have changed since past reviews.
