I’m not gonna lie i devoured this torta down. This is one of the best tortas i’ve ever had, especially on a hot summer night it really just hit the spot. Since this is my dad’s hometown i will definitely be coming back! I couldn’t even get a good pic because of how quickly I ate this up.

I agree with three points I read in the comments. Overall, highly recommended, but if possible, please pay attention to the following areas for improvement: 1. Parking (which I believe isn't entirely within their control). 2. Slow service. 3. Good food. It is indeed difficult to park, but that's because it's across from Revolución Park and is very busy. Four of us arrived at 12:05 and stood in front of the chef's sign at the entrance. A young man in a white shirt approached us, holding his cell phone. He stood right in front of us at the entrance and said, "Good afternoon, how can I help you?" I replied, "A table for four, please," and he gestured to another colleague at the back of the restaurant. While it might not seem like a bad thing, I think the welcome could be improved. It's the face of the restaurant, the way they make you feel more at home than at home (and all the people from Tuxpan I interacted with were more friendly). Perhaps a simple "Good afternoon, welcome, table for four or someone else joining us; good afternoon, these tables are available." But on the contrary, their body language indicated an obstruction at the entrance. I don't know if they offer other services or if the sun's glare affected me while I was outside, but the four of us who were there all agreed: what do we go to a restaurant for? To eat. Once seated, we asked for a moment to look at the menu. A young, blond man with curly hair served us, and his service was fine. His colleague, a woman with her black hair pulled back, was also very friendly, asking if everything was alright, and I noticed she was very sweet to all the diners. However, the food took more than 40 minutes to arrive. Although everything was delicious, fresh, and piping hot, I felt it was quite a long time considering the number of people in our party and the dishes we ordered. The young man in the white shirt, who was there initially, just wandered around the restaurant. I thought to myself, "Well, I want a job where I'm hired just for being good-looking, like him." He even stood behind the register for quite some time, with his back to me. It became uncomfortable for me to have my back to someone standing while I ate, and it was also uncomfortable to see someone standing still while his colleagues were crossing paths in the name of efficiency. In conclusion, the food was delicious, but the heat was unbearable. I would definitely return just for the flavor and the excellent service from the waiters, but if I were greeted like that again at the entrance, no thanks.

Very friendly, all the dishes were delicious, and we had fresh water. We didn't know where to go for a cheap and delicious meal. We found this place and loved how delicious, varied, and affordable the food was. There's a lot of variety (chicken, seafood, beef, and pork). 10/10 to the staff and the waiter who served us. It has bathrooms and screens, and even though it wasn't crowded when we arrived, it started filling up. 💕
