The reason for the low star rating is this store would not let me use internet ordering. I've had the Pizza Hut app for years and use my points. I wanted to use an online only coupon. In other words not being able to order online is useless to me.

Vintage style pizza hut. The lobby was closed but they still allowed pick up inside. Pizza was amazing

Their website is very easy to navigate to order a pizza exactly the way you want it. They give you a time frame on when you will have it delivered and in my experiences over the years they have been within the time frame. The pizza is always hot and delicious. Never had a bad experience. Thumbs up.

We went in on a Monday mid morning as a treat to the kids. We ordered online and the pizzas were as we ordered. The two gentlemen working were great with the kids. They didn't get annoyed like most do when my son asked a million questions.

The place was mostly empty with a couple of folks dining in. Vegetarian baked pasta was good, so were the cheese sticks. The vegetarian pizza was good too. One day I ordered personal size pizza from their "deals" section and customized it to add veggies which was 7 dollars.

The food is great. Prices are reasonable. Service could be friendlier. It costs nothing to smile

We ordered Thin & Crispy pizza but it seemed a little dry (not enough sauce) which maybe also led to the outer crust area being slightly brittle

The only complaint I have is I would have liked for the pizza to had been cooked a little longer. It was still good.

Why does it take so long for a credit card to clear. I would like to be able to verify the amount charged to my card at least that day. Its 3 days later and still pending

ok.. 3 stars for pizza hut in general..not a fan anymore.... the 4th star was for the nice staff here 29palms...after 10 years not going to pizza hut .the 5.00 pizza deals were great. but the deal for points is only usable on expensive none deal items. the none deal food was kinda low end for price. ya want to bring people back.... bring back the lunch buffet (back then was like 6.99 lol now probly be 9.99).....at least once a week on a sat or sunday. when i first moved here, so verrryyy long ago. it was hard to get a table in the 3 hour time span of the lunch buffet. salads, pastas, 3 pizza types back then. simple but was a tradition back then.

This Pizza Hut has great pizza and excellent customer service. A while back I tried the online ordering. I was a bit leery as to whether or not they would get my order and have it ready on time (for carry out). It worked flawlessly. I've used it several times now and my order is always ready when I get there.

Most of the time my experience here is a good one. There have been a few times where my experience was not as good as it should have been. Overall most of the time it's pretty good. I like to come over during Wings Wednesday as I do love wings. I also usually get a pizza with it but they change their recipe lately that the hand tossed is just not as good as it used to be. I would stick with the pan or the thin crust myself for now. It is really neat to have a Pizza Hut like this where it is an 80s style pizza parlor where you can actually go in and eat your food. Most Pizza Hut's nowadays are takeout and delivery only and have no place for you to eat inside.

Good wings, good pizza, decent pasta and good salad. All with a place you can actually dine at. I really like there dine in lunch specials starting at 11am when they open. If I can remember they have this into I think 3 pm. You can get a personal pan pizza and salad with drink for about 7 bucks good deal or pasta and breads ticks or wings and salad with drink for about 7 bucks awesome place to Patronize. Easy

Staff here is usually nice. Pizza is good most of the time at least. And the winds are usually good as well. I like to come over for wings Wednesday along with having a pizza as well. Now in order to get the best deal but you really need to do is order your pizza online. The pizza online is usually a lot cheaper than ordering at the actual place. What I do is order my pizza online and then go to the restaurant and order my wings there and tell them I would like my pizza to eat at the restaurant. This way you could have that unique experience of eating at a pizza parlor such as Pizza Hut as most of them are usually just delivery or take out places only.

The team working here is great. The customer service is excellent. They acknowledge you, they're helpful and friendly. I got a very thin pan pizza however during the day recently. I used to work for Pizza Hut. I've never seen a pan pizza that thin before. It was still delicious.

I actually like their pies. But I don't think anyone actually eats in. They're dining rooms are straight out of 1980.

We had a great cashier who took our order with a great attitude, but as she was giving us a minute to take our order, this lady rudely takes away the coupons we were looking at 😡 I didn't say anything to not start a scene, we placed our order and the food was good, but that was just uncalled for, she wasn't even a cashier, she was one of the drivers 🙄

This place is very clean, nice and cool. The staff is nice. But the pizza is atrocious, why so sweet, so much sugar in the dough and sauce.

Getting the order correct. I ordered a big dinner box with a cheese pizza, a pineapple pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. I recieved a cheese pizza, 2 pepperoni pizzas (which one had pineapple) my youngest refused to eat it because it had pepperoni on it. Please focus on the order better.

Sort of slow service. And who doesn't have pens when they're asking for signatures on debit transactions?! The food is good as far as fast food pizza is concerned tho and they were nice

The food was ok the salad I didn't really care for, the strings of carrots and radish were old and dry and you can only get three types of dressing- blue cheese/ Italian and ranch also the drinks are in my opinion a bit pricey they are about $3.00 each the lady that serverd us was very nice and personable, good eats to you all,. . . Old arcade games and pizza will take you back into your childhood. Pizza was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Everything was reasonably clean and in good order.

This visit / the pizza was great! However the history of the service / orders have also been very hit and miss. Hopefully this shop will continue to bring their quality standards to where they used to be at one time.

They are usually a bit late and I deal with it but today it has been nearly 2 hours since I placed my order. I called and they said it would be a few minutes and that was 45 mins ago.

Pizza crust was horrible and they had NO sauce on either of the two large we ordered! I've NEVER had crust like that in my life. 👎🤮🤢

Terrible!! Every time we order from this pizza hut we have to call to figure out where in the heck our pizza is. We just got our pizza after I called and had to talk to the manager. He called the driver to see where the food was. She said she was just pulling up. He continued to tell me the pizza left at 715 pm. It was 826 when i called and our pizza was promised at 750. I didn't know that this pizza hut was a "Papa Murphys Take and Bake." Our pizza is now in the oven warming up. We did however get a $5.00 credit for our next order. I think this is the last time we will be ordering pizza from the Twentynine Palms Pizza Hut!!

Ordered lg pizza, pizza was ok. Also ordered 2 8 piece boneless wings, I got 16 dried out chicken crumbs about the size of a quarter with some a size of a dime..

Cook the pizza properly. Dough was undercooked and looked nothing like the Detroit style in the advertisements. Also the was not enough cheese. Like the store is trying to skimp.

Come on… pizza is so overpriced… 21 dollars for a medium pepperoni and 25 dollars for 12 wings. Ordered a take out. The prices were outrageous.

This review is not necessarily about the food or the cleaniness. Both are average to slightly below average and what you would expect in 29 Palms. Let's be honest if you're going to Pizza Hut you can't expect a prestine dining experience. BUT the reason I won't be going back anytime soon is the ridiculous policies. It is April 3, 2023, and the fountain drink machine is still off limits due to COVID...are we serious? It's laughable...so if you want a drink, you have to buy a $2.50 16 oz bottle. You want parmesian cheese or red pepper flakes? Yeah right.. thats $2 a piece. I've never been in a pizza hut... nay... ANY pizza joint ever.. that has charged from parmesian and pepper... I wonder if the owner is "taking a little off the top"...

Food was prepared and cooked properly. Order taker was friendly and helpful. Workers in back were not always professional. Nothing wrong with having fun but all can easily be seen from dinning area. Condiments were gross.

The food was consistent with Pizza Hut, but the service was bad enough to say that I'll never eat in again. They had a server but I got my own drinks. Food listed on the menu but they didn't have it. Took a salad order but never brought it. Asked for garlic bread but they didn't have enough. In their defense they took $3.50 off the price. I felt special.

Got the big dinner box. The wings were plain, no sauce(i ordered garlic parmesan). The pizza I got had almost no cheese, as in parts in the middle were completely plain little sauce and no cheese. Overall not the way a pizza hut should be. 25$ and the food was horrible, little Caesars is better

I placed my order at 4:45pm and received a text at 5:05pm that it was out for delivery. I noticed my address didn’t have my apartment number so we tried calling the store. It took eight times and they finally answered and by that time it was already 5:20 and they had told me “Oh he’s actually still here” when I thought he had already left 15 minutes ago from when I got the text about it being out for delivery. We received our order at 6pm and mind you this location is only 15-20 minutes away. When I called to see where our food was at 550pm I was told that there was only one driver that goes on base. Still doesn’t make sense that it took over an hour to get our food. When we did receive it, it was not hot at all.

$43 is a lot for a pizza that did not include the toppings of extra cheese, sausage, onions or mushrooms. I guess I didn’t give a big enough tip. Why bother to ask for toppings or extra cheese- you’re not going to get it.

This location specificly lacks training and results to poor customer service. Staff lacks effort of greeting their customer. Tonight was the worse experience with staff; Jameson. Staff chased me to the parking lot in attempt of proving I have not paid for the food I ordered and picked up. Jameson did not bother confirming my email receipt nor my bank statement showing that I have been charged and paid. As a nice customer I handed my card to avoid arguments. After confirming with him that I am paying for the right order, he then realized he have made a mistake after looking at the order he had just made me pay for. The best part is, he told me that there was no way to receive a refund in cash or cancel my payment. Jameson attempted to offer two 2liter sodas as reimbursement or store credit of some sort for $20.24 value. I have never seen 2liter soda that is worth $10. I walked out in disappointment. I have yet to call or revisit the location to resolve this issue. If any store or district manager bothers to read this, please look into the quality of your staff as this industry does not only rely on the quality of the food served but as well as the staff that provides the service. Edit: One year later, the poor performing staff still works there. Today, I ordered my normal chicken alfredo pasta and honey BBQ wings. My previous orders of the same food have been good quality except today. My pasta was overflowing with sauce while my wings were dry. This had never been the case with other staff's presence when the times I order. Refer to the picture uploaded. Garbage performance should not be tolerated at this location. Add on (16 December 2019) : 3rd Photo. After being served dry breaded bone out wings. I now received wings that seems to be a victim of possible intentional drowning of chickens. Is this real? It seems that some of the staff of this location does not take pride of their work and service. Yet they expect to collect paychecks and business from the local residents. Shame.

The thin lady with long brown hair does not like her job or people very much. Went in there for a friendly lunch pizza but simply could not leave her a big fat tip. The place is cozy and pizza was ok The parking lot looks like it can take a few hundred cars and lots of plastic and small bits of garbage littered the parking lot lawns.

We ordered online and it got here an hour late and everything was cold and when we called to tell the pizza hut about it they just sent us to another line and hung up on us. I guess don't order at night

Food is always late as hell, usually room temp, and constantly undercooked wings... not the pizza hut you're used to in other places. Advice? Order somewhere else

Me and my wife wanted to order some pizza because we were craving it. I spent $20 on one large, my pizza was told it was going to be here at 7:20 when it was 8 I called and asked where my pizza was, the lady said the driver left at 7 and she should be pulling up at any moment. It was not until 8:20 until my pizza arrived COLD, like it's been sitting out all evening. Very dissatisfied and we will not be eating here again.

We ordered for delivery Wings/cinnabon minis/ cheese sticks it was ALL cold and HARD, VERY disappointed on what we got. Unfortunately I won't be ordering again from here it's sad that I paid so much for cold gross food. I would give it a 0star review if I could.

I ordered food for delivery at 8:21 p.m. Nothing shows up, I call the business at 10:50pm to hear that they don’t have my order, to which I have my order receipt with their business info. The worker tell me to call back in 10 minutes for the manager, and yet when I call back like 4-5 times, no one answers…And no one knows what happened….

I live on base. The online system does not recognize my barracks address. So, I call the store. The employees tell me that I am "out of range". I've literally seen pizza hit deliver to my barracks before. This was my first time calling pizza hut in the 1.5 years that I've been here, and it will unfortunately be the last. You'd think the employees would be able to use Google maps, but I guess that's too difficult. Shame.

Totinos dollar pizza is better. Pizza hut has been my favorite since I was 5. I paid over 60 bucks and it was worse than any frozen pizza I ever had. I am so disappointed and sad.

I ordered wings and a pizza box, unfortunately the pizza was cold. Tried to call them a couple of times, not even looking for a replacement but just to let them know. No one answers the phone and after it rings for a bit, it hangs up on you.

The 1st time I went here. There was a guy making pizzas he was sweating PROFUSELY and steady wiping his forehead with his arm WHILE continuing to work with the food. His entire face was wet, his hair was wet, it was so gross. No one was there to greet me, the dining room, looked a wreck, I didnt see any menus so I walked out, I wouldnt have ordered anything that day anyway, not with that guy sweating all over the place. The next time, I went there to honor my daughters book reading prize, she earned a personal pizza, we waited close to an hour for that damn pizza and after we got the pizza we saw that there were NO napkins and NO Parmesan cheese either, and no one around to help so we waited some more . . . I would not recommend this place.

Very upset been on hold for two hours with costumer service number ending in 8488 and I tried calling the store just keep getting hung up on. I already made a review online at Pizza Hut . Com contact us and they forgot sum of my tippings and my brownies weren’t cut I have pictures to prove and I have a screenshot of my order and the times that I called. They forgot my marianar sauce that goes with my bread sticks and didn’t give me fork or napkins for my pasta and my wings were dry with no sauce she decided to add Buffalo hot instead I order bufallo medium and the white ginger girl was just rude had me waiting 15 minutes yelling hello throughout the whole store I spent 50$ and don’t feel like I got my money’s worth I want a refund !!!!!!!

I will never order delivery from here again. It took them an hour and a half to deliver food to my house, even though I had a estimated wait time of 20-30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. It took me 6 calls to finally talk to an employee, whom was very unprofessional. It would've been nice if they called us to let us know that they were behind, I would've been totally understanding. Highly unrecommend.

This particular Pizza Hut is PATHETIC!! First of all, they don't tell you the deals unless you specifically ask. Second of all, they can never seem to have enough money to break a hundred dollar bill. The staff, with the exception of like 2, are incompetent, uneducated, and downright RUDE. ( INCLUDING THEIR MANAGER I THINK HE SAID HIS NAME WAS DAVID) Honestly, I worked for pizza hut a few years back and I know the functions staff are SUPPOSED to be trained to follow. VERY POOR SERVICE. I'm sorry guys, you need to step up your game and work on your customer service especially. I love Pizza Hut pizza above all other pizza joints but I will no longer order pizza from you until you make changes. I hope enough people read my review as well, I hope they choose Dominoes instead. I just came to pick up an order for a customer of mine as a Doordash Driver, and i ring the red bell for them to hear me 3-4 times and I was ignored. My husband was on the phone for BLUETOOTH SPEAKER AND HE HEARD the bell ring. The girls there chose to ignore. Saying that they didn’t hear it was a poor excuse. They were unprofessional, the super skinny blonde made excuses when i had my husband as a witness on the phone. He says i should call corporate and which i will. Being ignored was the worst experience i can ever experience as a Driver. She proceeded to mouth off and it didn’t sit well with me. She was very unprofessional.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Awful service on the phone and long waits. They are rude and not very accommodating. They claim that their website is fast and easy to order but it's anything but that, it's a hot steaming pile of a mess. Don't waste your time here folks, better off ordering from domino's or Papa John's. Better quality service then this joke of a company.

This place is horrible. Every time I’ve ordered from here, they are always over an hour late. My latest order was the last straw. I called to check on my order’s status and they cancelled my order without ever calling me! My phone’s call log does not have any calls from the restaurant. Despite this fact, the manager tried to lie to me and tell me she called me multiple times. Yeah right. This place has continuously let me down in multiple ways, so I will no longer be doing business with this restaurant. Be better, no excuses.

Ordered cheese sticks and a large cheese pizza for pick up. Half my pizza was missing SAUCE and the dough was partially raw. Will never order here again-that’s either plain laziness or on purpose. Papa johns and dominos has never wronged me like this lol.

At least ten times they have put garlic on a pizza ordered without it even when I select no garlic on the options and take the time to type in "no garlic please" in the special instructions. If I wanted to wait another 20 minutes I would wait for delivery. 10 times is in my opinion a personal FU to me.

SERIOUSLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! Not only has it been three hours since I placed my order that my pizza hasn’t arrived, but it has also been impossible to get anyone on the phone. I called after a little over an hour after my order was placed and payment went through and managed to get someone with a bit of an attitude who told me “five-to-seven minutes” and have been waiting since but that was it.. That was an hour and forty minutes ago. I’ve called multiple times since then and, nothing. I only live 6 minutes away. Place closes in 30 minutes so I’m guessing this pizza isn’t coming. They got my $25 though, even tipped the driver... Even calling customer service and getting them to transfer me to the store didn’t work. The call just disconnects. So yeah, I would definitely not recommend this particular location. If you’re hungry for pizza, papa johns or dominoes in 29 are far more reliable. Never giving this place my business again after this. Thanks Pizza Hut! You’re the best! :)

its a fairly decently ran pizza hut from what i have seen throughout the country and have been having delivery from them for years. recently have been noticing that the drivers either don't really care or are just in a rush which is okay, but to many times in the recent months I have either received a messed a up order or the wrong items or they would be missing an item ordered and i would either have to let them know there or call them and let them know. sometimes even the pizza won't be cut. its pretty sad when this used to be a decent location and to see that it has been run into the ground

The worst Pizza Hut I’ve ever been. Almost 21$ for a simple medium pepperoni ? Please there is no caviar on it. Moreover, the place is so dirty, the tables aren’t cleaned, it’s dark and the guys in the kitchen looks like not clean too…

I'm 62, ordered 2 chicken melts to feed my family. When I placed my order with the young man, I showed him my AARP Card and he DID NOT know what it was!! OMG! Is this real?? Then he went to get the "other guy" he claimed they don't accept AARP, so i asked if you honor a "Military Discount" showing him my VA Card, he claimed they don't accept that either! The food came and it was lousy and very SKIMPY!! My family left HUNGRY... PIZZA HUT, YOU LOST MY BUSINESS FOREVER!!! Placed an order at 8:33 through this company’s horrendous 3rd party ordering system after 9:45 I tried calling the store to see what the deal was with my pizza and nobody answered after calling over five times, when I called the “3rd” party to ask for help they transferred me back to the store (which of course nobody answered) this went back and forth no less then 10 times before the store manager picked up the phone by this point it was about 10:15PM and she personally took my order all in the end just to tell me my credit card info was incorrect (Which it wasn’t) I just gave up and decided to sleep. If you are visiting 29 Palms for business or for any other reason for that matter do not waste your time or money with this ridiculousness

Worst service and food. Can’t seem to get an order right. I had to pay for each individual dipping sauce on the website and yet they didn’t put any of them. What’s the point of making someone pay and then nipping them. I absolutely hate this establishment. No napkins, silver ware and uncooked fries.

Tried Pizza Hut again......bad mistake! Pizza made us sick! Large Pepperoni, extra cheese, with jalapeños and banana peppers. It was so greasy I didn't finish first piece. The crust was terrible. Sent an email to customer service 3 times about this. Apologies all over the place and someone from store would call to make it right. No calls! I call them and all I get is the run around. After paying $50 for 1pizza and delivery you would think we could get some satisfaction! Terrible restaurant with terrible food and terrible employees. My suggestion, DON'T spend your hard earned money there!

If I could give zero stars I would. Pizza was cold, app said it had been out for delivery for over 30 minutes. Delivery guy came, who was sent from door dash, and he had just received the request for the order. No phone call from the store. Called the number posted on the app 3 times, got transferred only to not have a single person answer, and then the call goes dead. My husband called the number on Google, and no answer at all. When we spoke to the driver, he said the store was not busy at all, yet not a single call we made was answered. Awful service.

After we ordered fries and our pizza, when the fries arrived I went to the counter to get ketchup, salt, and napkins. I ordered a fountain drink-out of order. How about a glass of ice water? Ice machine is broken. Now comes the big rip-off - no ketchup, no salt, and no napkins!! She offered a dipping sauce choice of ranch or blue cheese for only 89 cents each. I told her I wouldn't pay for a packet of ranch dressing when she couldn't provide the ketchup listed on the menu with the fries. She said OK, but just one. The pizza was under done. The fries were the only exception here - they were good, even though we ate them without our salt and ketchup.

Stay clear it has gone way down hill! We wont return! Both pizzas had a long hair in it! Couldn't order online free pizza with points. Just kept saying pending in cart.

Literally the worst Pizza Hut in America. I live in dallas but ordered from this location three times every time I’m in California thinking they will get it right! Wrong! Every time something has been wrong with my food. Today and last week. I will NEVER order from here again! My pizza didn’t even have cheese on the whole pizza! Wings were not covered in the garlic Parmesan. They looked like chopped up chicken strips. Last week, the wings were not cooked in the middle! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

The people can’t even call you when I order for a meat lover say no toppings on it when you ordered it five hours in advance and then give you attitude when you call and try to clarify whose mistake it was and to find out why they couldn’t give you a call

One person could eat this whole large, to make pizza you need to start with dough, not paper thin and cheese, practically none on this! If debating between here and elsewhere choose elswhere. Papa Johns is at least thicker than a dime...this isn't even close...Seems like maybe bad yeast or NO yeast? May be human error, but someone should be checking quality before out the door!

No soda machines , sodas are hot in refer area does not have Pepsi 2 liters , TVs all off , no condiments on tables , place was empty , breadsticks were hard as a rock !

I went in to get my pre-paid carry out, just to find out that, magically, the 15 dollars taken off my card for the order was missing and I had to pay again. When I showed the worker proof that I paid, she shrugged said there was nothing she could do. No refund, no apology, just her waiting for me to pay. $30 down the drain for one damn pizza, ridiculous!
