Very good food. The man working was also very kind and attentive! We stopped here randomly with a craving for Mediterranean food. The kids even enjoyed it!
Very nice little hole in the wall place their food is great, it takes a little while as they make everything fresh! The people are so sweet and friendly. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed
I never write reviews, but i decided to go to this place today and it deserves a good review and more traffic because the sandwich wrap i had was so pretty, had delicious meat and veg. FRESH. And under $6! Im usually broke as hell so eatin healthy was possible. the people there are also nice and will take care of you :) thank you!
Their food is very fresh and very good. The service is very good and the gentleman who I believe is the owner is very friendly. I was very pleased and we'll definitely go back and I have.
Very good meat! Tastes great and is very authentic. Also, everything is HALAL.
Excellent food!! Best tasting lebanese food. Fresh, flavorful and a generous amount . Very reasonably priced. I am their forever customer 👍
The service was friendly, the wait for our food was short, and it was delicious! It was a very affordable dinner for two and I will be going back here!
Awesome food, I love it I like it and I do want more of it. The chicken was so good and the steak was so tender. I cannot wait to come back for dinner again. :-)
Today’s my first time coming to this restaurant. I honestly feel like this is uplands hidden gems. Everything taste fresh to me. I usually don’t eat my sides but the hummous and salad are chefs kiss***. My favorite part of it was how reasonably priced everything is !!! It’s reasonable for the amount of food you get. It’s very delicious and quality. It’s only my first time so I hope it’s consistent when I go back.
We were in the area and stopped in for lunch, wow! The food was so good and the owners are super sweet. We don't eat meat and had plenty to choose from. My daughter and I both agreed that the falafel was the best that we ever tasted. I loved the babaganous and the grape leaves. The prices are good also. Good service, good food and good prices 👍👍👍
A neat Lebanese spot. The food was great quality and quantity wise for the cheap cost. The falafel appetizers we're fantastic! The only blemish on this review was that the single unisex bathroom needed to be cleaned. I definitely plan to come back and try the 5$ lunch special.
Amazing food, great service, at reasonable prices. I had their Kafta, Beef, and Chicken combo plate and it was delicious. Portions were huge and they were very generous with the pita bread as well. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Came for my first time to bring home dinner for me, my parents, and sister and they enjoyed it a lot. Quality taste in their food. All authentic. Highly recommend the Beef and chicken Kabab!
Was craving mediterranean food so i decided to stop by this place. Food was pretty good, it was able to satisfied my craving. The portions are pretty reasonable with the prices.
love love this place.. I normally get the lunch special… their food is really goodd. Everytime I come they are really nice .. I would 100% recommend
Absolutely fantastic. A hidden gem in Upland. Been coming to the city for 4 years and never seen it before. As Mediterranean food enthusiast would have loved to discovered it before. Ordered a Chicken plate and it was amazing. Great flavor, juicy and tender just grilled there for me. Owners very polite. Highly recommended and yes , they need a huge sign that could be visible even from foothill blvd.
The food was absolutely delicious. We brought in our friends to join us and everyone loved it. The cook even provided complementary Baklava to try! We have no complaints with the service. It is not fast food by any means but it is good food and worth the wait. The tea was also very flavorful. I only used one sugar packet and I think that was enough. Perhaps it wasn't even necessary. We want to thank the staff for all their service.
Delicious food and reasonable prices, the falafel was super delicious and the chicken shawarma was amazing. I'll come back whenever i get chance! I tried as well the chicken tikka with rice & hummus! The stuff is so friendly & as a lebanese, i am so proud to find a place in upland that serve lebanese food. Recommended highly if you miss your hometown. A family business, you feel like you are home.
I ordered the family meal for only $44.99 best decision ever. Very healthy grilled to perfection. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Very private with plenty of parking
Delicious delicious delicious. Very good price clean it feels like you are eating at home. The lady that works there offered us amazing free Falafels
Great value, fantastic food!!!! We got the family platter and the baba ganoush. Everything was delicious and the service was fast.
A place with good selection of Lebanese dishes such as the chicken schwarma and lufta kebob at a reasonable price. The mulberry drink was also deliciously sweet.
Outstanding food and GREAT prices!! Come check this place out!!
I ordered the Kofta kabab. It's been a while since I've tasted kebabs that have been seasoned this perfectly. Hummus, baba gounosh and dohlma came in big portions. Rice arrived flavorful. I was shocked at how inexpensive this meal was!
Great food! Fresh made at the moment! Awesome customer service! I have visit this place for many years and always great food!! Highly recommended !! 👍👍👍👍👍 5/5

I have driven past this place for the last 10 years and finally went in to try their food. This restaurant is a bit hidden if you are driving past foothill. They blew my mind when I ordered their lunch special and there was still a place on earth offering a plate for $6.99!!! The food is traditional middle eastern food with such good flavor profiles.
Five stars! The food was authentic, tasty, and reasonable priced. The atmosphere was low budget, but we enjoyed the authentic Lebanese touches.. It was definitely a sole proprietorship; the server and the cook were the same person. We could hear her chopping the vegetables as our orders were prepared from scratch. Maybe not the best choice for someone in a hurry, but definitely worth the wait if you are looking for home cooked Middle Eastern food at a reasonable price!
Glad we ordered from here. A small mom & pop shop that has delicious food! We got Chicken Kabab plates and it was so tasty - even our 3 year old ate the chicken, rice and pita. Will definitely come back here, hopefully I can score some Falafel next time (they were out today!).
This is good place for individual dine or take out. The chicken kabob plate was good compared to near by Mediterranean food. Price point is good. I enjoyed the salad. I think they need to provide more pita bread for take out. More than 2.

Had the veggie platter. Quality is superb and the value is great too! A little more cleanliness would have been nice which is why I give 4/5
This is a great little storefront restaurant that serves terrific Lebanese food. The service is pleasant and friendly. The prices are reasonable. And they still have some of the best mutabal ever. Also loved the fried kibbeh. My one complaint is that the pita bread was dried, out but the rest of the food was terrific--bright, fresh salads are a treat.
Food was good but the music was too loud and distracting. Probably best as take out.
I ordered the falafel plate, it was so good. It came with 6 falafel, salad and hummus. I ordered rice on the side. Everything was delicious and the price was very affordable. It's family owned and just a little hole in the wall so dont expect anything too glamorous just some really good home cooked foods. Perfect
Tanya’s Lebanese Kaaba has been on my list for a while, and I’m glad I finally gave it a try! The location is super convenient since it’s close to my house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. We ordered the family meal, which included 2 beef kebabs, 2 kafta kebabs, 2 chicken kebabs, rice, hummus, and salad. Of all the items, the beef kebabs stood out the most—perfectly seasoned and full of flavor! The kafta and chicken kebabs were decent as well. However, the rice was slightly soggy, and the salad was just average. What truly shined, though, was the customer service. I believe it was the owner who helped us, and they were incredibly kind and accommodating despite the fact that I came close to closing time. There was a slight wait because the rice was still cooking, but I appreciated their effort to ensure everything was fresh. Overall, the food was decent, and the service was exceptional. I’d recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for some flavorful kebabs and warm, friendly service. The beef kebabs alone are worth a visit!
Chicken shawarma is must to try! Salad is a little disappointing... salad dressing is too watery. The lamb shank is so soft and almost boneless... great value. Except it is a little dry for the lamb shank. Maybe because we ordered take out... but only 8 mins drive away, will give it a try again Suggestions for the plate: add fries as option instead of rice.

I ordered for lunch via DoorDash and they food came fresh and delicious. The beef kofta was very juicy and well-flavored. The humus was also quite good.

Good the lunch special which is basically a kids size portion. And the gentleman who took my order was not friendly and inviting.
The food was good. It’s a small local restaurant and I always try to support our locals. I had the lunch special and it was just okay. The salad was a bit heavy on the parsley and it was drenched in the dressing. The chicken potion was small compared to the amount of rice you get. The customer service was good they answered my questions.
So I went to Tanya for my first time with my family and was a little disappointed.the inside could of been cleaner floors where dirty my table had water streaks all over and this makes me wonder about the rest of the resterant. The salad had no flavor and the pita bread was cold to the bite for me I need the bread warm. the main plate was good rice and meat was good but what I hope they get out of this review if that The survives was not the best . They came to check up on us only once and when It come to owning your own business you want to go beyond the customer expectations
It was the middle of the week and Wednesday calls for a mini venture out to follow Hubz around his work sites, which led me to exploring Uplands, CA. I was having some major cravings for Mediterranean food and found Tanya’s on google! The area is not the most modern or bustling area ever, when we arrived for lunch it was around 12pm and the restaurant was empty. During our visit there were a couple of patrons in and out, also a few making takeout orders. I’m assuming the lady who took my order is Tanya, and I'm assuming she was also by herself as she was the only one coming in and out to verify orders and cash people out. Wait time for our food took about half an hour so this is not the choice for something quick unless you plan and try to call ahead! Fried Kibbeh - ($5.50) - Freshly fried and piping hot, her flavors and the crust were perfect. The side of hummus and a gallop of garlic sauce was delicious! Chicken Shawarma - ($8.99) - Chicken was a tad dry, rice was insanely mushy, salad was barely there but the hummus tasted great. This was kind of a sad plate. The portion was pretty generous but the quality just wasn't there. Overall, the kibbeh was good, the plate was sad and when the rice is mushy it just doesn’t make a good meal for anyone. The wait time for the food was absurdly long for food that was just mediocre at best. Not the best first impression.

Visited this restaurant due to craving Mediterranean food. Decided to order food here because of the reviews. The food lacked taste, mushy and dry. The restaurant definitely needs some TLC and some cleaning. We won’t be visiting here again.
This place is not what it used to be. My family and I walked in and there were dirty plates with dried, crusty food laying on some of the dining tables. I was told there were no more falafels for the night. I ordered the kofta wrap and the chicken wrap. The kofta was meager and barely present and the garlic sauce tasted old and abnormally tangy. It was difficult to eat and not enjoyable. Both the chicken and kofta wrap was made with cold, stale pita. My wife had the chicken kabob plate and she said it was lukewarm and mediocre. She also said the bathroom was neglected and dirty. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt like I needed to warn others about how much this place changed. I miss the old place.
I got 3 small pieces of meat in my to go order and the meat was tough and burnt :/ very sad was expecting better from such good reviews.
Awful. How is this place in business.. food was inedible. Really wanted it to be good because I basically pass by it every day. He reheated some meat that seemed like it’s been cooked several times over.. rice was slimy and gross. If the dining room looks like it does, I’d be terrified to see the kitchen.
I ordered one kabob they give me like three four pieces piece of meat like very hard to show it lake couch and four piece falafel eating meat is not good four pieces of meat and four-piece for piece of meat 4-Piece falafel 25.00 too expensive I don't like his food and that's expensive I don't like this food and expensive
Was craving some Shawarma and went over here to make an order and once the food was ready to pick up it was a bit disappointing the images portrayed looked amazing, but when I got my food it was a large portion of rice that was very soggy and mushy, a large portion of salad. The Shawarma portion was very small, thin strips and had no flavor, and looked as if was microwaved because of the texture, taste, and looks. Other than that, the atmosphere looked alright. The only good thing was the service is all I can say.
Worst food ever. Everything was dry. Chicken kabobs very dry. Ordered lamb kabobs, got steak. Also very dry and over cooked. Several other items also. No taste and must have been prepared several days ago and reheated. Not, one, good thing!!!!!
