Loved the ambiance of this place, very welcoming, energetic, and good music as you eat or just have your café con leche. The owner was present and very sweet to everyone. They are always on the go due to the high demand on coffee through their TO-GO window but very much aware of what the customer needs. Good customer service and claro que un delicioso café con Leche. Super chevere con todo de lo que ofrecen! I recommend it stopping by, se los recomiendo que lo visiten! Probecho!
Food was delicious and the server was very nice and polite. It is not a fancy restaurant, but you find there quite authentic cuisine and you can enjoy meals that are hard to find elsewhere. The liver meal that I had resembled meals you can find in Europe too. Give it a try if was quite tasty.
I ordered the seafood soup and it was the most delicious soup I've ever had. I haven't been to Cuba in ten years, but it brought me right back, and pretty much singlehandedly inspired me to plan my next trip there. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was extremely worth the wait.
The ladies are always welcoming the few times I have stopped by here. The food is hot, fresh and tasty. Their empanadas are the best I have had in a while. I can eat them everyday.
This place is amazing! The food is unbelievable, but the service you get is a 10 stars. They girls are very attentive, and you definitely can see they enjoy their job. Thank you Alicia, for making us feel at home.
Fresh, great price and value. Clean for an older establishment. Just be prepared to wait....
Great food fast service friendly staff
Amazing quintessential Cuban food. Has the feel of a mom and pop. Food is consistently good quality, large portions and decent pricing. A gem in the heart of Wilton Manors.
Love coming here when I visit my sister. Excellent service and great food!
Las Colinas Restaurant is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Service is attentive, friendly, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. The menu offers a solid variety of flavorful dishes made with fresh ingredients. Every plate is well presented and packed with authentic taste, whether you’re ordering traditional favorites or house specialties. Portions are generous, and the quality is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect place for a casual meal, family gathering, or even a quiet dinner out. Everything is clean and well maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. Overall, Las Colinas Restaurant delivers on both food and service, making it a place worth returning to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.
I normally only write a review for a place that I have been to two to three times and the experience has been consistent! I have been twice with my friends who love to have breakfast here and on both occasions I just had the Cuban Cafe Con Leche that’s is served like the way we serve tea: A small tea pot with very strong tea and another pot with hot hot water. This way you can dilute your tea however strong or light you want it. So you get served a pot with strong espresso coffee and a larger pot with hot foamed steamed milk so you can dilute your strong coffee your way … And I really liked their coffee, so I wanna go back … And I recommend that you go try that too!
Moy Incredibleeee!!! This food speaks to your soul - made with love apparently. First time here and I lived in Oakland Park 30 + years! I got a must cortadito + croquettas + passion fruit juice + Tuesday special, which was a carne soupita. Now Im smiling for the day and not hungry til tomorrow!
If you want good food go here. Picadillo, arroz moro, and Maduros were A+ And the Desayuno Las Colinas was my pick for breakfast and don’t miss the café cubano. Any time I’m in the area I will make a point to stop here. Don’t miss it.
I highly value this restaurant, primarily due to the exceptional friendliness of its service staff, a rare and appreciated quality in today's environment. If you are seeking Latin American cuisine, I strongly recommend a visit. On days when I prefer not to cook, I frequently stop by to purchase empanadas and other favorite dishes. I believe you will find it equally enjoyable.
3/24/25——Another Cuban restaurant! Today is my little sister’s birthday, and since she keeps saying she wants to marry a Christian Cuban man, I thought—why not help her dream come true, at least halfway? So, I celebrated her birthday at a Cuban restaurant. I took a Lyft from my hotel. It was about 15 minutes with no traffic, which in Florida feels like winning the lottery. When I arrived, I was happy to see it was a regular Cuban place—the kind I like. No fancy lights, no Instagram traps—just good food and strong coffee. As I walked in, I had a weird flashback. I thought, “Wait, have I been here before?” I checked my Google Maps reviews like a detective, but nope, no trace. Guess I haven’t. I chose a seat at the last row of tables, you know, the kind of seat where the wise people sit—close to the exit and far from drama. At the entrance, there was a table covered in business cards, flyers, and some random things. I always dig through those—I treat it like a treasure hunt. I grabbed a local magazine and took my seat. Then came Victoria, my server. I started with two croquetas and some spicy sauce—not because I’m sick, but because I’ve been stuffed up. Hot sauce opens my sinuses and my soul. For the main dish, I ordered Perico-style huevos revueltos with three salchichas and tostadas. Yes, I was hungry and a little dramatic. For takeout, I got tres leches, bread pudding, a pineapple Jarrito, and coffee. Priorities. The coffee here? Amazing. Cuban coffee is not just a drink—it’s a lifestyle. Victoria and I chatted a bit, and I found out she’s from Mexico. Super sweet and very kind. Honestly, she made the whole meal feel like a visit to a cousin’s house. Moral of the story: celebrate birthdays with food, dreams, and a little hot sauce. You never know what you’ll discover—maybe even a Cuban husband for my sister . But for now, just croquetas.
Amazing place for good, authentic Cuban food. Two of us got roast pork and the other got a Cuban sandwich. The plantains were awesome as was the fried yucca. Beans were so good and cooked well. The guava pastries and coffees the next morning were also great. Nice, no fuss, away from the crowds place to go!
Very good! Empanada's are very good. The Miami sandwich & Cuban are really good as well, the bread is so soft! Time to get food was a bit longer than expected as they aren't very busy inside. Nonetheless was a good little lunch spot to try out that our airbnb host recommended.
This is one of the few Latin restaurants in the immediate area and the only one that serves grits. There is table and counter seating available and to-go service from a window. I usually only eat breakfast of grits eggs, toast and cafe con leche. The breakfast menu includes ham, bacon and hash brown potatoes. The lunch menu includes the typical Latin flair of Cuban sandwiches, beans and rice, churrasco and other steaks and chicken and so on. The orders are taken quickly and the food arrives quickly as well. I don’t live in the area so I tend to eat only breakfast here, I’ve eaten lunch here only once, it was very appealing. The portions are reasonable and so ate the prices. Waitress Sylvia was very polite and always nearby when I wanted more water, had a question or was ready for the check. The place, including the marquee sign can use a makeover baca use of the weathered look, however, the restaurant is always clean, inside and out, a makeover would probably mean increased prices. The bathrooms are single-accommodation and has a huge bowl of condoms. I would eat here more if the minimum order with a credit card was not $10, my breakfast is usually $6 or $7 with tip and I have to make sure I’ve cash. My order never is $10 or more. This is a nice neighborhood choice or a quick stop while passing through the area already.

I keep coming back here even though it's a long way from my home. They have perfectly cooked bacon, excellent scrambled eggs, and delicious buttery cuban bread. The cuban coffee is strong and delicious... very smooth. Get the beef instead of the chicken empanada!

The food here is well prepared ! This place has been around for many years ! Friendly atmosphere! Cuban food ! Great breakfast! soups , steak , chicken, etc. ! Food is good. In a corner of small shopping center. Still the same. Good to go for a quick meal!
If you are in the area and want to have authentic and very flavorful Cuban/ Latin food, definitely come to this joint. This was my first time and they will definitely be there again!
Love, love, love their café con Leche with success! That and their breakfast is my favorite, but their Cuban sandwiches are also great. And the staff is super nice! I will return everytime I am in Fort Lauderdale!

Great Cuban Cafeteria in Fort Lauderdale! I grew up having steak sandwiches “Pan con Bistec” for lunch in Westchester, FL (very Cuban/ American neighborhood) and this place does a great job at keeping their food authentic. The service is a little slow so sit back and make sure you have a couple extra mins or just make sure to order everything at once and get up and pay the bill at the counter when the time comes. Great menu! Follow me if this was helpful. Come back for updates and deets on more places!🥰
Awesome place to stop by and grab you some latin food and they have the best coffee better than most Starbucks and Dunkin donuts my favorite meal is their Dominican dish mongoo I recommend this place for a sit down and eat or even if your going to grab a quick bite or coffee
Cuban/Latin Restaurant that has a very casual Diner feel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Daily specials as well. Takeout window. It's a hole in the wall with good food and good prices. Breakfast $5-$10, Lunch/Dinner $10-15+
Breakfast was good and Cafe con leche was 😃. We ordered a pan con bistec that came out so tough that in one bite the whole steak came out and couldn't be bitten apart or even torn w hands so sent it back and ordered eggs.

Looks might deceive you but this is a great Cuban place considering the price to value ratio. It is a very humble establishment. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done at pretty inexpensive prices…
I ordered masa’s de Puerco. They charge more than the menu and included a 10% gratuity. The food was lukewarm the pork extremely dry. I guess it will be another three years before I try them again.
Authentic as it gets. Great food. So you're wondering why 3 stars? Well, outside of the food, the service was ok but they have like 6 waitresses while the place is empty in the back talking and yet…
I have been going to Las Colinas for about 4 years now. The food used to be GREAT. We order the same thing everytime we go, a chicken sandwich and a few pastries. The quality of food and service has really gone down over the past year. The pastries are always burnt or raw now, sometimes burnt on the outside and raw on the inside! I called to complain this time because our whole order was inedible and she said “ well next time we’ll give you a free side of fries and some pastries” unfortunately, that does nothing for my family this morning! No offer to bring it back and correct it and when I explained my dissatisfaction with the food over the past year and how the quality of the food has really declined, SHE LAUGHED and said yes... Like I said, the food USED to be great, but now it’s a hit or miss and more of a miss than hit.
The food was all overcooked.. Service was painfully slow and 20% tip was automatically added and it shows in the service.
First time here and it didn't wow me. I work nearby and was hoping this would be a good breakfast place but I was sadly disappointed. The egg sandwich had too much salt and my co workers omelette was mediocre at best. The place also needs a good cleaning. Staff was busy talking and took a while before taking our takeout order. I wouldn't go here again.

I was hesitant, but had alot going on so I thought I would give you all another shot. The rice was hard, and beans were good but really couldn't enjoy due to the lack of moisture in the rice. The grilled chicken was the best thing on the plate. I order a side of fried plantains as the meal comes with 2 sides. The plantains were hard and not sweet at all. I have had frozen plantains and they are bad but this was awful. When asked about the plantains, I explained and was offered something in its place. I asked for it to be removed from the bill and she said they didnt do that. I will not return.

Probably some of the worst Cuban food I have ever had. This place was well reviewed and recommended. Huge disappointment., steak was over cooked in old oil. Onions were huge and raw. Plantains both styles were raw . Got a sandwich Togo that was not much better. The dog will be happy tonight. Let’s not forget the service... ladies let’s not assume all white girls don’t speak Spanish.. the waitress I got to help me was good, but this no speak English is getting old. She did not even attempt to ask me questions in Spanish.. I guess it will be drives south for good Cuban food. I was hopeful about this place and we seriously disappointed. 🤢🤢🤢 To top it off desserts are not homemade.. as stated
I have been getting food at Las Colinas for several years now and I NEVER thought I’d be writing a bad review. Their food was always very good and prices used to be reasonable, however, I stopped going due to their ridiculous price hike. And I want to be fair but being Cuban, this isn’t Cuban cuisine by far. As a matter of fact the owners and workers aren’t even Cuban. But yesterday I decided to go back thinking perhaps their prices started to go down but unfortunately I was absolutely wrong. The prices went up even more. They had a sign on the door that read “as of February we have raised the prices and it doesn’t reflect on the menu” WHAT? You’re charging a significant amount MORE and you can’t even update your menu? You’re deceiving your customers into thinking the price is an “X” amount and when they get there it’s much higher. And what’s actually worse I had takeout and ordered a steak sandwich which without exaggeration SO hard that I couldn’t even eat it. My wife said “return it” but I said it wasn’t worth it. I’m just not going there anymore. This place unfortunately has gone straight down the tubes. I’m sorry.
I bought two breakfasts for takeout ($38). My friend did not like the pancakes; he said the butter was too salty. I returned to the restaurant to ask the pancakes to be remade. The manager wanted to charge me for the remade order and argued with me. Very poor business and I will not return and am telling my friends about the owner’s uncaring attitude.
Absolutely not… super slow service and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich had no cheese…. also one of the workers literally has their dog sitting in their minivan with no AIR THATS MESSED UP
Rice was stale, service was awful, chicken soup had no chicken or noodles, so called churrasco served on some lettuce that looked like it was scrapped from the bottom of an aldi bag.
Place is bullshit the prices they advertise are lies they place a mandatory $6 gratuity that they don’t mention and show I paid $40 for 2 sandwiches and 2 slices of fried cheese the food wasn’t even amazing enough to cover the price and when I go to talk to them about it they act like it’s not there problem bullshit service bullshit food bullshit place if I had a option to put zero stars I would
Atmosphere and experience was not good, I’m Cuban and I’m embarrassed of this place listed as Cuban cuisine, I honestly don’t recommended and I won’t be back. Lack of elegance, looks aged, noise level, and poor service. Not to mention the plastic cups and the ceiling fans 🙈 Food was overly salty and greasy.

Dont ever order from this place, cuban sandeich not even close, chicharrones only fat, ham croquetas old, poor quality food
DO NOT order from here - their consistency is absolute garbage. Consistently miss items. One day the chicken soup Is the best soup ever, the next you are eat chicken soup Straight from the vampire Ella can. One moment the chicharrones are smashed and come with 3 limes, the next you get an undercooked piece of fat with one lime. You ask for yellow rice you get undercooked tasteless white rice. They are so disorganized and have no direction at all. They have so much potential to be great but cooks and employees are lazy and nothing is ever the same. Ewwwwww
I came in to pick up my order. Four women’s standing near the counter they had a total of three customers inside. All four women ignored me. I had to shout out to get one of them‘s attention to pick up my order that was sitting on the counter. The only good service I’ve gotten from this place was when the Mail waiter was working here. Maybe that’s why you only have three customers at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon lunchtime.
Went to this restaurant last night and was at the window ask the young lady for a steak sandwich as I usually do didn’t ask me what I wanted on my sandwich or anything. She just put it on a little plate And said here she was young with long black hair, quite rude. I don’t even think I want to go back to this place.
