Fabulous dinner. The shrimp and milk risotto was fabulous, the fried frogs were excellent. After the risotto, my son Ricky tried the trout, which was truly excellent. Congratulations, see you soon! WELL DONE!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant and was enchanted by the authentic mountain flavors. Each dish is an explosion of flavor, transporting you straight to the peaks and forests. The undisputed star of the meal was undoubtedly the polenta taragna with porcini mushrooms: I've never tasted anything so good! The creaminess of the polenta, combined with the richness of the porcini mushrooms, made this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this delicacy to anyone who wants to rediscover the authentic and traditional flavors of the mountains. I'll definitely be back!
We stopped here spontaneously as we were cycling in the mountains. Since none of us speaks Italian, we asked if someone could help. The owners daughter speaks perfect English and helped us getting some super tasty food! They were all so nice and friendly. Thank you guys again for being so lovely 😍
I've been to Ristorante La Trota in Brembilla and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The polenta is simply divine. The staff is super kind and friendly, always available and attentive to every need. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends or a relaxing lunch. If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, this is the place. Highly recommended!
Cool place, kind hospitality, traditional very tasty food.
Everything was perfect Went to Cesa on the recommendation of a friend. A truly lovely location, with a fantastic fireplace. The staff were truly courteous and attentive, and the service was quick, perhaps a little too fast. Dinners like this should definitely be savored slowly. The dishes were truly excellent, and portioned just right: from chestnut gnocchi to casoncelli alla bergamasca, and braised venison. Not to mention the polenta, the house specialty, which you can enjoy in a variety of ways. And finally, dessert is a must; you just have to choose. Truly excellent, I'll definitely be back, but this time for the fish.

great restaurant. big tasty dishes paired with excellent wines.
Esperienza culinaria a base di polenta meravigliosa. Ho provato più delle polente proposte e le ho trovate tutte incredibili per quanto fossero buone. Lo staff gentilissimo. Lo consiglio già a voce e…
Food was ok. I didn’t personally like it felt microwaved and compared to other places that offer the same service I definitely wouldn’t return.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, for a quick lunch. We ordered just two starters and a dessert: dandelion gnocchi with cheese fondue and casoncelli bergamaschi. For dessert, a tiramisu. The dishes were top-notch, all strictly homemade, and the traditional character of the dishes and the chef's great skill were evident. Impeccable service, a lovely setting. It's a shame we arrived late and the polenta was sold out. Definitely worth a return visit.
The best experience is catching trout: the restaurant has a trout tank, so it's fresher than that! Good value for money. Appetizer: quality prosciutto. Good fried gnocco. Delicious fried calamari. The fries were a bit disappointing; they tasted like they were fried. Very kind staff. It's a shame about the mistake with the vegetables; we had asked for them not grilled. They also brought us two portions of fries instead of one. The desserts seemed a bit pricey. The place is nice and well-kept. Orders should be taken better; if the waiter isn't sure, you can always give a summary. Edit: Today we tried the pizza. Good dough, plenty of toppings on top (only mine had plenty of room for part of the crust), but we were satisfied. We'll be back. We waited quite a while, but it was Saturday night anyway (the restaurant served faster).
As soon as you enter you realize that it is a family-run business, the counter is still one of those from the past..... But then entering the well-kept and clean room there is another warmth, the menu is homemade food so the casoncelli were delicious, I had the stew with polenta which was good even if there were only two slices, one more would not have gone amiss, the French fries were good but skimpy so rejected, and I would have liked the tiramisu to have had mascarpone and not cream since it is homemade also for the price..... Anyway, all in all I recommend it for an evening with friends or family lunch.
The rooms are beautiful, welcoming, and spacious. The service is very friendly and fast, and the wine list is excellent, with helpful assistance in choosing the right one. The dishes are tasty and well-presented. Don't miss the trio of polentas, but the menu offers both fish and meat. The prices are perhaps a little high, but the quality is excellent. Highly recommended.
