A truly lovely place if you're looking for a nice break for a bite to eat while cycling. It's naturally busy on weekends, but you have to expect that. It's best to make a reservation by phone one day before your arrival.

A lovely refuge, certainly convenient due to its location right by the lake. We had a reasonably good lunch; the service was a bit scattered but overall friendly. The outdoor space with loungers for sunbathing is lovely!

Characterful place, good menu, normal prices, no receipts. Naturally, in the summer it's literally mobbed by tourists, not all of whom are fully aware of the rules of etiquette. We ate inside because it was a cloudy day, and we had a great time. They asked us if we had a green pass, but they didn't check it due to technical difficulties. There's no internet or phone connection, making it impossible to verify the green pass, or even use debit cards to pay. The parking lot is dirt, and disabled people have serious problems accessing the outside, and no access inside. The restaurant closes in October and reopens in late spring. Family-run, I'm quick to serve. The food is good, but keep in mind that the prices may seem high, but the location is inconvenient. The road up to Cancano is horrendous, to say the least. They get their electricity from an expensive, noisy, and polluting thermal generator, since the Stelvio National Park prohibits the installation of eco-friendly hydroelectric generators for the nearby water! Bureaucratic nonsense worthy of the Supreme Soviet! This impacts the overall costs you pay at the table.

Very good food. I recommend the typical Valtellina bresaola. On weekends, it's best to arrive early, otherwise the outdoor seating is sold out.

Delicious local beer and the homemade pie is a must. The location is key for those doing mountain biking and needing a break. The place offers sun loungers for those who want to rest.

Il piatto di salumi era molto buono e ricco, L’espresso era un caffè da campeggio. Servizio non proprio eccelso. Detto ciò il luogo è talmente bello che il resto non è un problema

Slow service, friendly and helpful staff, food just below average for the area. Pasta with ragu was disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it. The pizzoccheri and desserts were good.

Excellent food and value. We ate very well and recommend the mushroom polenta and pizzoccheri. The desserts are also worth trying. A major drawback is that they only accept cash payments. They don't accept credit or debit cards. We were lucky to have cash with us; otherwise, it would have been a hassle. Overall, I recommend!

I simply had a cappuccino on a Saturday afternoon, so I can't comment on the quality of the food or anything else. I must say that I found the cappuccino good and I appreciated the kindness of the people who run the place.

I stopped by for a snack, asked for a cake, and was told they only had an apricot tart. Then other customers were offered other desserts. Quite strange, and then they served them as shown in the photo. It was crowded with tourists, and be careful, they don't have power for credit cards or POS. The view, however, is worth the trip to the lake.

Card payments are not accepted. If you don't have cash, you won't be served. Two kilometers further, towards the dam, there's a refuge that accepts cards. If you're hungry, go there.

If I may... Pros Slow but very friendly staff, good cold cuts, cheeses, and beer. Cons Pizzoccheri with little seasoning, dry. Cheese and butter almost nonexistent. Bread... or rather pan carré... even if warmed, it would be better not to serve it as bread. Okay, there's no signal, so cash only is completely justified... but a receipt is mandatory... there's none here. It's a shame because the view is beautiful...
