After a hike in Entracque, we decided to have lunch here as a perfect end to the first Sunday of the year. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. After we ordered, the waiter brought us a small sandwich with butter and salami as an entree. Reading the menu, we were intrigued by the raw venison with hollandaise sauce. It was beautifully seasoned, tender, and flavorful. Then we ordered capon plin and grilled trout with pesto sauce, carrot, cabbage, and cavolo nero puree. The agnolotti were delicious, cooked to perfection. The fish was very delicate. We accompanied our meal with two glasses. The restaurant offers a very extensive and varied wine list. I'd say that if we were to return, a stop at the inn is a must.

The perfect place! The atmosphere is meticulously maintained, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The excellent wine list features a wide variety of labels and wines that pair beautifully with the dishes. The cuisine is fabulous! Everything is prepared with great care, carefully selecting local, wholesome, and healthy ingredients! The meats were cooked to perfection, melting in your mouth! The fresh pasta was handcrafted, impeccably following traditional recipes! I recommend the full menu with wine pairings for a truly fabulous experience! The price is fair, considering the use of fresh, local ingredients and the extensive research that goes into each dish and wine. Everything was excellent, see you soon!

Located in the heart of the Gesso Valley, this quaint restaurant was recommended to us by several locals, and we immediately found it to be a very welcoming place. The qualified and very helpful staff welcomed us with an interesting menu. Curious to try as many dishes as possible, we ordered two appetizers, two different first courses, and a second course to share. The bread was very good, and the wine list was excellent. The lamb dishes were noteworthy, including the maltagliati with ragù and a delicious, tender lamb shoulder cooked at a low temperature. The care the kitchen takes in preparing the ingredients is evident. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back!

This historic inn is well-run by Michelin-starred staff who have attended hotel management school. The chef is highly trained and can prepare delicious dishes, whether game, fish, or meat. I tried a rabbit-and-tuna dish and a perfectly prepared veal tartare. The cod-filled tortelli, served with a green sauce of exceptional color and flavor, were also excellent. I recommend it for its excellent value and the young manager's exceptional kindness.

Really nice restaurant close to the Valdieri town hall. Service and food are simply amazing, great selection of wines, amari and beers. I enjoyed basically everything, from the bread to the last dish except the desserts, they were a bit basic compared to the main dishes.

What a delightful find in Valdieri - we had a phenomenal meal here! The set four course menu is excellent value at 35 euros and the dishes were delicious, featuring inventive twists on Piemontese cuisine. Service was attentive and gave really nice wine recommendations to pair with each dish. We paid 50 euros pp for a four course meal with wine/beers and coffee. Would 100% recommend and we hope to return!

Amazing atmosphere and a cuisine worth to be in a Michelin guide! Waiters are very helpful and polite, the service is great! The plates are sophisticated and delicious. They use the entire animal (including heart, lungs, kidney, liver, tail), and they do know how to cook it well! Their sauces based on various cheeses drive your mind crazy! Unlike most Italian places, even when crowded it's very quiet. Highly recommended! We'll definitely come back for more.

Cibo molto buono, con abbinamento innovativi che ad alcuni possono non piacere, ma cmq interessanti. Ingredienti sicuramente genuini e bio. L'ambiente, perlomeno a Ferragosto a pranzo, era molto caotico con le voci che si accavallavano e impedivano di parlarsi tra vicini di tavolo, perlomeno nella bella saletta interna. Probabilmente in un momento più calmo la location è molto carina e anche adatta a coppie. Ad alcuni dei miei commensali non è piaciuta la totale assenza di tovaglia e anche di tovaglietta, ma credo sia una scelta precisa del locale, come anche cambiare sempre le posate tra una portata e l'altra.

Sono stata in questo ristorante a cena per un compleanno, eravamo in 6 persone. Lo spazio è piccolo ma molto caratteristico. Lo stile è casereccio e semplice. Le pareti sono in mattoni e i tavoli in legno. Il Menù prevede i classici come battuta di vitella o vitello tonnato altrimenti vi è la possibilità di scegliere altri piatti dalla lavagna. Pochi piatti ma caratteristici e buoni. Consigliati i ravioli al plin (anche se mancava un po' di salvia a parer mio) e i maltagliati al ragù di selvaggina. La carne servita è di qualità e anche la verdura molto gustosa. Molto buono anche il pane e la focaccia fatta in casa che hanno servito come accompagnamento. Le porzioni sono abbastanza abbondanti a differenza di quanto mi aspettassi essendo un ristorante avente una stella. Per quanto riguarda il servizio una ragazza con gli occhiali è stata molto gentile e preparata mentre altri invece non li ho ritenuti all'altezza del ristorante. I prezzi sono onesti, non troppo eccessivi, siamo sui 14/16 euro a piatto però per la qualità servita è giusto. Unica pecca a parer mio è stata l'illuminazione, con una giusta luce i colori dei piatti sarebbero stati risaltati meglio.

A rustic and very clean restaurant, it has two rooms, one of which is immersed in the wine room that covers every wall! In my opinion, this restaurant is suitable for romantic dinners, but also with friends if desired! The food was good and fresh, but some dishes could use some tweaking to the flavors, such as: the seafood pasta was overly salty, the tomato sauce with salsa verde (we couldn't tell if it was pesto) was too much to eat like that, the classic tiramisu wasn't classic, but just cream that tasted like coffee, but not much, and the fresh pasta was soaked in too much oil and butter, but it was still good! The staff was truly kind and cheerful, but I will definitely be back, especially since those who work in this field can sometimes encounter problems! The wine list is enough to spend half an hour reading! My husband and I had a 35€ menu and a 45€ one. Perhaps I was expecting slightly larger portions for the 45€ one for the price.

Inspired by the reviews and by many friends who had already dined there, we went to dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The place is rustic and well-maintained, with very friendly staff. My review isn't negative, but they probably had more problems than usual that day (it can happen). Some dishes were missing from the menu. The seafood pasta was very, very salty, while the fresh pasta was soaked in too much oil. I repeat, it must have been a coincidence, which is why I'll be back again.
