Mimi Vegan

I had this amazing bread /sandwich with vegan egg in it. totally delicious. Food was amazing. Downside for me is that there is no paper menu. They said I could only order with the app, so tried that. The lady said it was in English, well I could only read the drinks menu in English but not the food menu. Another customer tried to help me. Still not in English so I wasn't quite sure what I was ordering. This is a shame as the food is fantastic but it was a struggle ordering it. Surely they could have one laminated menu for us oldies.

Great for all meals. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and enjoyed it all. The calzone with vegan cheese and pulled “beef” sandwich are excellent, and the sausage on the choripan was eerily real. Highly recommend for vegans.

i was staying two minutes away from here, and dinner was so delicious, we came back for breakfast the next morning. both meals were absolutely amazing, and i’m not even vegan or vegetarian. the food is cheap, and we experienced great service!

I went to this restaurant and got the potato and cheese appetizer first of all when you walk up it’s beautiful with a lot of different plants. They said crispy on the menu but they were more of a squishy texture. Still good though. When you go inside there’s a little library and a cozy area to sit. I chose to sit outside so I could people watch and enjoy the sun. The wait staff were really friendly and told me that I could see myself and immediately came to serve me. It has a lovely atmosphere and many vegan and vegetarian choices for food including different toasts, potatoes, and more! it is located in Ruzafa which is a part of Valencia with a ton of restaurants and bars. I took the bus from Patacona and walked from the teatre principal bus stop. I didn’t finish my food so they gave me a to go container. There were some other people there hanging out outside with their dogs and friends. I would love to go back here and try some of the toasts. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking for chill vibes and vegan food.

Un sitio muy especial y agradable con una buena variedad de platos a elegir. La hamburguesa vegetal estaba brutal y la ensalada riquísima. Además la cerveza de barril es de muy buena calidad. Un ambiente muy agradable y tranquilo para disfrutar en compañía o solo ya que también tienen zona de lectura y dónde poder conectar tu portátil. Además, el personal fue muy agradable.

El lugar es muy bonito, y tiene mucho espacio tanto en el interior como en la terraza. La comida está buenísima y merece muchísimo la pena para probar buena comida vegana. Recomiendo mucho probar sobre todo el bocadillo Vegalomo, que estaba increíble. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque quizá nos faltó un trato mas personal por parte de los camareros y camareras.

Food was very good, had the classics patatas bravas and choripan. Food was delivered quick and timely (I had two dishes, so I got the second after finishing my first). Every table outside was taken, good to see that for a vegan restaurant. Staff wanted to make sure I knew everything was vegan (the reason I went there to begin with). Even though I embrace technology and QR code menus makes things more efficient, I'd rather chat with the waitress/waiter and ask questions about the food. The experience feels cold without this, it's like an online order with a place to sit. It felt we were not serviced, we were dispatched. But hey, take this as constructive criticism, I want you to succeed and you are already somewhere there and attracting a decent crowd. Maybe I am too old for this to matter.

Very urban and cozy atmosphere. Nice terrace, a bit noisy though as it is on the street. Very good vegan breakfast, lunch and brunch options. Staff is friendly enough. Prices are affordable.

It’s a very cute place to have food. The atmosphere is nice but I feel like it would work even better in the summer on the terrace. It was quite dark/not the right lighting now. Still though, we enjoyed the food! The nuggets weren’t super special, I did really like the gyoazas :)

Situated on a pleasant corner in the Russafa district is this vegan bar that has a large food menu too. The dishes are well priced and offer quality tapas and larger dishes. The patatas bravas were good, perhaps a little more spice could have been added. The tortilla was flavoursome and a good portion. For main we had the risotto which was more like a stir fry. However, it was still very tasty with lots of mushrooms, peas and onions. For dessert we had the chocolate cake which could have been a little more chocolaty but had a nice ginger edge too it. A solid bar meal with friendly staff.

Decent vegan restaurant. I’ve come here quite often by now. Food tastes mostly good, service is very friendly and helpful - but quite busy most of the times (so no one might bring you the menu for example...). It is also a bit pricy, but therefore portions are quite big. So all in all a cozy little place and I’ll probably be back some other day soon… ‘L.O.V.E. Personalmente no nos gustó, y me da rabia porque la idea y el concepto del local me hizo ir ilusionada. El camarero nos dió unos cubiertos que tenían en la mesa otros clientes, al verme la cara de asco dijo "están limpios" y ya no le dije nada de que los cambiara porque ya deduje que si eso lo hacía en mi cara, lo que hiciera dentro sería mucho peor. La comida no estaba muy rica, las bolitas de patata sabían a aceite sucio. La empanada argentina solo tenía el sabor de la aceituna. La calzone y las salsas... muy sin más. No soy vegana, pero si que estoy acostumbrada a probar y cocinar muchas cosas que lo son, y creo que en general lo que probé era mejorable. Lo que si que me gustó mucho y que destaco por encima de lo demás fue la sobrasada, muy rica y lograda. El local es verdad que tiene un encanto especial, le falta un pelín de higiene, y por eso no volvería a comer allí, como mucho a tomar algún refresco.

La comida se podría decir que está bien, no la gran cosa, sabor muy normal y los medallones / escalopes / Seitan, son congelados industriales. El puntaje de 3 es más que nada por la suciedad que había en el lugar. El baño muy sucio, sin papel, y las mesas pegajosas y con poca pulcritud en el lugar. Sin duda mi puntaje es más que nada porque aunque sea tiene cocina vegana pero si no fuese así, seguro le pondría menos.

Buena variedad de comida, solo que normal de sabor. Fácilmente podrías hacértelo en tu casa, ya que algunas cosas son congelados industriales. Le pongo poco puntaje porque me pareció un poco sucio el lugar, y la chica que estaba trabajando, estaba muy apurada, tirando todo, y no limpiaba bien las mesas.

Everything was nice, but the food is not that great (if you take into account the price.. I would say food is 2 star maximum). We got 2 of the house favourite hot sandwiches.. the bread could have been better and the sandwich is kinda dry..

Small cafe with vegan breakfast/lunch Food *** We got the yogurt with fruit and the seitan sandwich. Yogurt was decent, seemed store bought - perhaps try the pancakes instead. Seitan sandwich was great! It also came with an orange juice. Horchata was not good and tasted like melted ice. Service **** Super fast, waitress efficient and understands English well. Atmosphere *** Nice outdoor seating, inside very hot. Price € Under 10 euros a dish. Super affordable it was great!

The staff was very kind, but that's about it. The burger was a disappointment, Not worth 8EUR. The place also looked a bit ran down, the plants.. which sold the place on the pics, looked very thirsty. It was more unmaintained/ poorly put together than having a hippie/ ruin bar feeling.

Ugh. Vegan place, though it's hard to notice from the outside. Literally the toasts they offer are either toast with oil and salt (??), or toast with tomato sauce (??). Coffee wasn't good either. Great place if you like the vegan hipster kind of vibe.

Nice vegan place, no more, no less. As English only speakers we were glad to know that Jardin Urbano had an English menu, however it's hard to understand what translates to what. A calzone in the English menu may actually be an ampenada by name and when we ordered it we got something that may best be described as a quiche. Food was so so, decent but not really good, atmosphere was fine, we felt welcome and all but it was clear that we and the establishment along with the rest of the customers were lived life in a different pace. By the time we finished dinner, pretty much every one else were still sipping on the same drink

Me han cobrado 3€ por una infusión cuando en la carta pone 2,20€. Volveré a qué me devuelvan el dinero. No son los 80 céntimos en si. Es la discordancia entre lo que pone en la carta y lo que luego cobran lo que me ha churriado. Eso sí, las dos personas que había muy amables. Si leen esto por favor que me expliquen.

Disaster. Long waiting time and nothing we preordered was available. We visited 3/05/24. We booked the table a week before, and had to wait 30min outside as it was not booked nor prepared. We were asked to pre-order before and nothing from what we wanted was available. Pretty much only baguettes with meat replacement were available. I had humus with bread and that was tasty. I do like vegan and vegetarian food and had way nicer food elsewhere. This was nothing special. But the biggest downside was the service. The rest of the group had the bocadillo and they were happy as we were starving as we were waiting nearly 1h for our food after our starters. Not mentioning that it was way overpriced for why it was. The toilets were also dirty and blocked. Desastre. Mucho tiempo de espera y nada de lo que habíamos reservado estaba disponible. Visitamos el 05/03/24. Reservamos la mesa una semana antes y tuvimos que esperar 30 minutos afuera porque no estaba reservada ni preparada. Nos pidieron que hiciéramos un pedido por adelantado antes y no había nada de lo que queríamos disponible. Prácticamente sólo estaban disponibles baguettes con sustituto de carne. Comí humus con pan y estaba delicioso. Me gusta la comida vegana y vegetariana y comí mucho mejor en otros lugares. Esto no fue nada especial. Pero el mayor inconveniente fue el servicio. El resto del grupo comió el bocadillo y estaban contentos porque estábamos hambrientos mientras esperábamos casi 1 hora por nuestra comida después de nuestros entrantes. Sin mencionar que era demasiado caro para el motivo. Los baños también estaban sucios y bloqueados.

Comida - creo que la foto habla por sí sola. El calzone era un pedazo de masa con aire. Servicio - inexistente, tenían a un pobre chico solo para lavar, cocinar y atender. La comida se demoró 30 minutos y si no lo cruzabamos de casualidad al chico para preguntarle a quien le haciamos el pedido no nos enterabamos del sistema porque no lo aclara en ninguna parte. Ambiente - le pongo 3 estrellas porque el resto es un desastre y esto es lo único bueno

Fuimos a cenar con amigas y fue desastrosa nuestra experiencia. Pedimos choripanes y hot dog acompañados con un hummus para compartir. De todo eso sólo hummus se podía comer ya que imposible hacerlo mal. El pan de hot dog superaba 5 veces el tamaño de la salchicha además era tan duro que por poco podría competir con un martillo. Las verduras del chori crudas y cortadas en 4 cada una literalmente, además se les había terminado la salsa barbacoa así que todo servido en seco. Pésima experiencia. No volveremos.

Nos cobraron igualmente por el pan quemado y muy duro . Salsa súper picante , ni siquiera limpiaron las mesas nos pusieron los bocadillos con la mesa sucia . Ni siquiera pusieron una servilleta ni cubiertos … en la aprobación que instalaron te piden propina pero no hay una atención al cliente . La chica perdida preguntando para quien era el café, no se aclaran con las mesas b dando vueltas y vueltas y sin preguntar nada … Inaceptable . Tardaron montón, incluso, una familia que se sentó se fue, por la espera, yo tuve que pedir un café antes del bocata quemado porqué no se aclaraban nada en la cocina y solo era 3 mesas . No volveré ni loco!

Fui el domingo a tomar una cerveza y a cenar con mi pareja pero no llegamos a pedir nunca la comida. Siempre había pasado por delante y parecía un buen sitio pero parece que ese no era el día. Se pide a través delante móvil, y porque ya había pagado sino me habría ido. Tardaron 17 minutos en traer la cerveza y al llegar el camarero tiró en la mesa 3 cervezas y 1 copa de vino. Las copas se partireron un par y podéis imaginar como quedamos. Un “lo siento, ahora lo limpio” nervioso es lo único que recibimos. Menos mal que cambiamos de mesa, porque el camarero tardó otros 5 minutos en salir otra vez a la terraza. No nos ofreció paño para limpiar ni nada, es más, se justificó diciendo que “a mi compañero antes también le ha pasado”. Me molestó que tardaran tanto tiempo en traer la cerveza cuando habíamos 5 mesas de 2 personas (todas estaban atendidas cuando llegamos), me molestó nos tirasen 4 copas encima y no hicieran nada y luego también me molestó mucho como una mesa pedía en dos ocasiones bebida y se fueron sin que esa bebida llegase. Sé que es un buen sitio, pero quedé tan disgustado que necesitaba poner la reseña.

Disastrous, I would give it no stars if I could. We ordered drinks online and they took 15 minutes to arrive. It wasnt busy, so there was no reason for a long delay. Then the waiter tipped the tray of drinks all over my husband. He apologised, a few times, but there was no offer of a drink or a snack. Then my cava was warm and when I took it back, they looked at me like I was the problem, and said that they didn't have any in the fridge did I want ice! Unbelievable. Please give it a miss, there are lots of amazing bars in Valencia, go somewhere else. Thank you for replying, but this was our last night in Valencia. Not the best end to our weekend.
