Hemos cenado muy bien, nos han atendido muy bien, en especial Luis. Ha estado durante la cena muy atento a todo detalle. Volveremos sin duda.

Gratamente sorprendida de no haber ido antes. El menú es muy competitivo y ofrece muy buenos platos, especialmente la carne que resultó ser muy jugosa y tierna. La decoración también es muy elegante con iluminación minima que le da ese toque de intimidad si vas con tu pareja.

Hemos venido a comer un sábado en pleno diciembre y hemos agradecido mucho que se mantuviera el menú normal de mediodía. Como siempre una experiencia 10, servicio impecable. En este caso, nos atendió Javier y supo guiarnos tanto en la elección de platos como el postre. Sin duda el secreto y el helado de Limón fueron un acierto! Gracias chicos!

La comida estaba muy buena, con platos bien presentados y llenos de sabor. El ambiente del restaurante es muy agradable y perfecto para disfrutar con calma. Pero sin duda lo mejor fue la atención de Lorena, que fue excelente: muy amable, atenta y siempre pendiente de que todo estuviera perfecto. Gracias a ella la experiencia fue aún más especial. ¡Volveremos seguro! 😊

Hoy hemos ido a cenar a Saona sin tener mesa reservada y, aunque estaba todo bastante completo, un camarero encantador nos hizo el favor de buscarnos una mesa. Desde el primer momento fue súper servicial, atento y muy amable. Da gusto encontrarse con personas así: cercano, profesional y siempre pendiente de que no nos faltara nada. Se notaba que le importa de verdad el cliente y que disfruta haciendo bien su trabajo. Gracias a él pudimos disfrutar de una cena estupenda.

Highly recommend their menu del dia, fair price and excellent food. The location in Gran Via has a lot of seating, patio and inside. Get the ceviche, you won’t be disappointed.

The dishes took a long time to be served. The tacos al pastor are NOT tacos al pastor. It is a weird stew served with flour tortillas (whattttt!!!!) with relish and a weird mayonnaise. The veggie caneloni not worth it. Pasta was hard (not cooked enough) and Service was super slow.complained about it and did NOT receive any solution from waiter nor manager. AVOID IT IF YOU CAN. Cheap but really bad.

Got a table as a walk in. Food was delicious but not sure if the staff were as friendly as I am used to in Spain. But didn't take away from the experience and I don't have much Spanish so it's probably frustrating for servers if they don't have English.

I came to this restaurant after a commendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. The food is really tasty, we excellent quality from starter to dessert. The staff was very attentive to everything, and the service was as efficient and friendly as it should be. Unfortunately, not many vegetarian options and I don't think they are allergic-friendly either. I hope to come back soon to taste all the other desserts.

Excellent food and service, we served by a lovely waitress named Yure, she was very friendly. The dishes were exquisite, at lunch during the week they have a special menu for €11,95 pp which includes a starter, main and dessert, offering a wide range of dishes to choose from. Every dish is freshly made and the portions are good sizes.

A friend recommended us to go to the Saona Santa Barbara, but we were in the City centre yesterday and had a very late diner. We ordered the Tasting menu for 20.95€ and were not disappointed. I just found that some dishes had too much mayo for my taste. The staffs were very friendly despite the language barrier. For dessert we ordered the chocolate walnut tart but received the lemon pie. Our waiter offered us the walnut tart in the end also. We will definitely try the one in Santa Barbara. The deco there look stunning and of course, this one should be tried out.

Delicious, delicious, delicious. For the set menu (starter, main and dessert) you’ve got a number of choices. In our party, we had the octopus (divine), tempura prawns (legendary), truffled cannelloni (could eat this every day) and Iberian ribs (super succulent). However, the big surprise was the blueberry cheesecake. Get this, even if you’re not a cheesecake fan, you’ll be converted.

For €9.90 you can have a three course lunch AND a drink! And it's absolutely delicious. I have no idea how they make any money but my stomach is definitely happy. I recommend booking. Tourists and Spanish locals alike fill these restaurants daily!

Accidentally came across this place after bailing on a Thai place around the corner and could not have been more pleased. Staff was friendly but the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. WE started panicking after the first course was so incredible that we had read the “three courses and a glass of wine for 12.50€” incorrectly. They could have charged 50€ and it would have still been worth it. If their chocolate cake was a Canadian movie star, it’d be Ryan gosling.

Bueno, ke decir de kualkier Saona, la komida está muy buena, sabrosa y kon buenos produktos. El servicio muy bueno y muy amables los del personal, nos ilustraron sobre el Grupo Saona. Reservamos, pero había mesas libres, era miércoles.

Fuimos un grupo de 5 personas porque Saona siempre es un acierto. Hacía tiempo que no íbamos y habíamos visto que habían renovado la carta con platos nuevos. Todo estaba muy bueno, pero los camareros nada acertados. Tardaron muchísimo en tomarnos nota y sacar las bebidas. Cada vez que sacaban un plato se equivocaban porque eran para las mesas contiguas… pasó 4 veces. Al estar en la otra zona del local nos recogieron la mesa súper tarde y por ende, los postres también muy tarde. Pero bueno, estaba todo muy bueno y salimos a 24,70€

Nice experience, took the daily lunch menu. Kids were satisfied with the food options too. Tataki tuna, teriyaki chicken and the mascarpone dessert were delicious. As it was mentioned in other reviews, the iberic secret was not that good because the meat was hard and chewy.

Mi entrante tenía un aspecto horrible; el aguacate estaba rancio y el atún seco, como si lo hubieran preparado con antelación y lo hubieran dejado reposar durante horas.

Estaba todo muy bueno pero tendrían que mejorar el espacio de la terraza. Las mesas y las sillas están muy pegadas al resto y casi no cabes ni para sentarte porque te metes en la mesa de al lado. Fuimos con un carro de bebé y aún fue más complicado, ya que justo al lado está el carril bici y tampoco puedes separarte de las demás mesas... Tampoco me gustó el trato de una de las trabajadoras hacia otro compañero de trabajo. Delante de todos los que estábamos comiendo, empezó a reñirle de malas formas porque no sabía colocar bien las mesas una vez estaba todo recogido. El chico no lo entendía y ella aún se ponía más nerviosa y le hablaba peor.

Experiencia lamentable y MUY PELIGROSA. Estábamos comiendo en la terraza cuando una sombrilla que no tenía la traba de seguridad puesta se salió de su base y cayó directamente sobre nuestra mesa. La sombrilla es de metal y cayó encima de mi prima. Por suerte no pasó a mayores, pero podría haber provocado una lesión grave. Con el impacto se rompieron vasos y platos, se derramaron todas las bebidas y la comida y las salsas terminaron por todos lados. Nuestras mochilas quedaron completamente manchadas con salsa de pollo teriyaki, y una mochila blanca quedó arruinada. Lo más increíble es que nadie del personal se acercó a ayudarnos. Todo el restaurante mirándonos mientras nosotros seguíamos sentados entre vidrios, bebidas derramadas y nuestras cosas completamente sucias. Tuvieron que pasar varios minutos hasta que nosotros mismos nos levantamos a pedir ayuda. La excusa de la encargada fue que estaba ocupada con las reservas. Sinceramente, cuesta entender cómo en un restaurante la prioridad pueden ser las reservas cuando acaba de ocurrir un incidente con una sombrilla del propio local que no estaba correctamente asegurada. Para empeorar la situación, nos obligaron a pagar igualmente, diciendo que ellas “solo eran encargadas” y que no podían hacer nada. En ningún momento asumieron responsabilidad por algo que claramente fue consecuencia de no asegurar correctamente una sombrilla pesada en la terraza. No hubo disculpas reales, ni preocupación por el cliente, ni ningún gesto mínimo después de un incidente que podría haber sido mucho más grave. Una experiencia muy decepcionante y, sobre todo, una falta total de responsabilidad en materia de seguridad y atención al cliente.

Okay, I'm going to list the positive things first. The ambient is quite nice and the staff don't seem unfriendly, the sangria is very good and cheap(11€ for I think 0,75L) That's about it for the positive things as goes. We sat down, the place was half empty, the waiter comes and asks us if we have a reservation, we say no and he explains that it is okay, but for the next time we should know that a reservation is needed. Okay no big deal yet, I guess we didn't know. They take our order of drinks and when they bring them we want to order food, we weren't particurarly hungry so we just wanted one order of tapas or snacks each. We are then told that that is not posibble as at this time they only offered the classic menu or the tapas menu(eventhough their website offered much more and that information isn't stated anywhere), that means starter, main dish and dessert. Because we weren't that hungry, we politely explained that we will only finish the sangria we ordered, pay and then go and the waiter literally said "no worries". After about 25 mins, the waiter brought us the bill out of nowhere, okay, no big deal again but literally less then 5 mins later he asked if I wanted to pay with cash or card, again out of nowhere, after I paid literally a minute later another waiter came and explained that they are going to need our table in maximum five minutes(we were forced to leave basically). I can only assume that that happened because we only ordered drinks and they wanted to make room for people who would order more. I again state that the information that you have to order a menu isn't stated anywhere and when I told the waiter we will only be staying for drinks, he said, and I quote, "Oh okay no worries". It is a shame since the ambient is pretty nice and the staff isn't rude, but the rules or I guess policly is very dumb since the place is located in the center(a very touristic spot) so I dont understand how they don't think tourists won't get confused. That left a pretty bitter taste and we left in a frustrated mood.

I couldn’t remember the last time I had such a bad meal. The food quality is not just poor but absolutely terrible and that’s pretty clear from the starters to the desserts. And it was not bad luck on the choices; we were two, we ordered different dishes and we shared them all. Plus, the portions are minimal. The night menu is very cheap, but the most appealing dishes have an extra cost over the menu’s price and the drinks are paid separately. I ended up spending more than 20€ in a meal that wasn’t even worth 10€. I regret each cent spent. The waiters were thoughtful and service was efficient. The terrace is also cute, even tho a couple of cockroaches were roaming. Anyways, it’s still a restaurant and food must be the main actor - this said, I have to sincerely recommend everyone not to go to Saona.
