The best in downtown Monterrey, my favorites—very filling, the stews are delicious, and always at a great price. Just be aware that if you're really hungry, don't come here because they take more than half an hour to bring your order. Other than that, everything is perfect ☺️

What can I say about these chubby girls... I have mixed feelings... Finding parking in the center is an adventure, then you have to walk a long distance, when you arrive, you have to ask where it is, because it is half hidden. The eating area is poorly lit, there are a few foil tables, sometimes they are not clean... Etc. The place is typical of a market, a chaos of people serving and preparing all the time, you have to wait in line for your order to be taken and then wait a long time to receive it... In my case it was 50 minutes... Almost an hour!!! And despite all that... I'm going to come back as many times as necessary... Because the gorditas and the tacos are delicious, the stews in them are delicious and a very good size, with three you have enough but you will always want another one. Highly recommended... But get used to the idea that everything you have to go through... It's worth it for the final result... Unmissable.

You just have to have time to not feel so hungry to wait for your order to come out, as advertised on their sign it can take from 10 minutes to 1 hour, the gorditas are completely freshly made. But the wait is worth it. Other snacks such as tostadas, enchiladas, etc. They take less time to be attended to. They only accept cash.

Some of the best gorditas. The portions are big, and the filling variety is quite good. Any gordita can have cheese (panela or oaxaca cheese added) for about 2 pesos extra. I recommend ordering ahead, as it takes about 40 mins for orders to be ready. The wait is worth the food. They also deliver within the downtown area.

It used to be a place with great food, totally worth the wait. Today I went and was left with a terrible taste in my mouth. The oil tasted dirty, like it had been used a lot, and the gorditas kept falling apart. I ended up eating them like soup. Plus, it took them an hour and 20 minutes to get my order. They're not what they used to be.
