I wish I could give the center a better rating, but unfortunately, it was a bad experience. The reception staff is pleasant, which is appreciated, because after waiting alone in the waiting room for an hour to get an ultrasound, I went to the counter, asked if maybe my number hadn't been entered correctly, and they were pleasant, concerned, and spoke to the staff who were chatting, laughing, and not seeing patients in the ultrasound room (not for nothing, but it was perfectly audible from the room). My experience with Dr. Ruth Alcalaya Learra was TERRIBLE. I was very worried, having a prescription from my primary care physician for a breast ultrasound, especially considering I have two family history of breast ultrasounds. Upon entering the room, the doctor's assistant was empathetic, approachable, and kind—everything Dr. Alcalaya Learra wasn't. The doctor showed no empathy for me. She was grumpy, huffing and puffing, and repeatedly repeating that I have large breasts and that she needs to change the probe because she can't see anything. She didn't deign to talk to me, to be even a little friendly. She asked me twice if I should come because my grandmother had breast cancer, and I never mentioned it, since my family history runs through my mother and aunt. She called a colleague, who at least has more respect than her, and they changed the probe and the depth of the breast examination. The doctor continued complaining. I assure you, it's a delicate situation to be worried about the test and on top of that, the person who should be treating you is complaining and treating you as if you were a barcode. She didn't tell me at any point if she saw anything wrong or not. I asked her, and she simply said that what she saw wasn't bad, but that with the breast tissue I have, it would be my doctor who would decide whether to order a mammogram or not. She proceeds to throw me a piece of paper so I can wipe myself, and goodbye. By the way, she was annoyed that I had gone to the counter after waiting an hour in an empty waiting room because she didn't speak to me, but she did tell her colleagues, "Cristina thought we'd forgotten about her." Well, Doctor, if I'm listening to you chatting, laughing, and no one has come in for an hour... yes, sorry for asking, since I had even taken the day off from work. A week later, I still don't have the results in the Recoletas app. We'll see if they've processed them correctly, because I'm already expecting anything.
A terrible experience. My insurance company referred me to this clinic because, supposedly, it's the only center that can perform the procedure I need. I've been trying to schedule an appointment for two months, both by phone and email, without success. They always tell me they'll check if they can schedule me, but they never get back to me, neither to confirm nor to deny the procedure. The lack of communication and follow-up is infuriating. It's incredibly frustrating to have to constantly insist without getting any solution.
The delays at this clinic are a disgrace. You call and the doctors' schedules are always closed, which makes sense if they only offer services one day a week. We're talking about health, not a supermarket queue.
It couldn't get any worse. They already messed things up last year with an operation that they cancelled because of them, problems with my reports, chaos among themselves, etc. Now I've been waiting for days for them to call me with a medical certificate I need, and nobody calls. Nobody seems to realize how incompetent they are. I've called several times this week and they keep telling me they'll call me back. The days just keep passing by, and nothing's changed. I thought they couldn't do any worse, but they keep outdoing themselves. Nobody knows anything there. What a mess...
Thank goodness my life doesn't depend on them... After three months, they still can't find the test results. The receptionist was more concerned with showing off her nails than finding the results. These days, when everything is accessible with a click, they can't access the results, even though they were requested... if they're not in a box, they can't access them... Completely unacceptable... I've lost my appointment with a specialist that took me three months to get, thanks to their incompetence.
My terrible experience was at a physiotherapy clinic. I never imagined that a medical center could provide this kind of care. They were just focused on keeping to the schedule: 15 minutes of massage and 10 minutes of machine therapy. I've been in severe pain for two days now, forcing me to go to another professional physiotherapist. This service gets a 0 out of 10.
The doctor was very good. Perfect. Some of the appointment givers were very poor. They told me to go to the appointment and miss a morning, only to later tell me they'd made a mistake, and the doctor was in the afternoon.
At the beginning of October, my nephew suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon. Given the situation, I urgently requested an appointment with Dr. Lomo. Apparently, the waiting list was at least seven months long, but even without knowing what the situation would be like after the fracture (which fortunately was resolved with surgery by another doctor), they didn't give me any option for an urgent appointment. As someone who works in the public healthcare system, and I say this from experience, I think there's always a way to see a patient urgently. The strangest thing is that yesterday they called me from his clinic to schedule an appointment with this doctor after "10 MONTHS," and if I'm being honest, it's August and now there are available appointment slots... Please try to be more professional and handle things differently. This is private healthcare, not the public system that is so often criticized. This is private healthcare, not the public system. I'm sorry, but after this experience, I wouldn't recommend your clinic to anyone. They don't value critical situations and it feels like we're begging for a handout for an appointment. After waiting 45 minutes late, my number finally pops up on the screen. I walk in and see Dr. Trigueros laughing with a colleague in yellow pants. I was dying to say something to him... and not content with that, I told him about my injury, and he didn't even take off my clothes... He barely got up from his chair. And to make matters worse, they've given me an appointment for a test in 12 days and a doctor's appointment for a month...!!!! WORSE THINGS! THEY'RE LAUGHING AT US
