So delicious! I've always loved eating there. Fresh, flavorful chicken, a variety of salsas, grilled chili peppers, homemade-style rice, and guacamole. The refried beans make a special combination. I was one of the first to arrive. I ordered a whole chicken to go. I thought we'd be getting a freshly cooked chicken. That wasn't the case. They gave us a chicken from the day before. It was completely dry. No juice at all. Even the legs and wings were parched, imagine the breast. By trying to sell what didn't sell yesterday, they'll lose customers forever. Goodbye, Pollo Loco. They're not even close to other places.
Compared to other restaurants of the same name, in this case the product was overcooked and had a different flavor than the others. There is no refill drink available. It seems that it is not from the same franchise that is located in other locations.
The cashier is an elderly woman who appears to be suffering from dementia. The wait for the food is incredibly long, over an hour. A tall man in the kitchen was constantly swearing. The place is filthy and old, nothing like other franchises in other cities; it looks like something out of the mountains. They don't accept card payments. Sarabia Chicken is better.
I went yesterday and something was spoiled. I think it was the beans because they tasted like overripe onions and made us sick.
