I had a sever name Daniel . When I tell you his communication skills are at 100 !!! He is so friendly soon as he came to the table . He personality was also amazing . He moves very fast and kept asking if I’m okay. Do I need anything . While waiting on my food he kept me updated for example 2 mins it should be out . I never been to a restaurant where I had a 15-10 DANIEL WAS AMAZING . My daughter even said He was nice too . food was hot and fresh as well . To the point is was ready and he brought it straight to the table . I’ll definitely will be back and my FOOD WAS DELICIOUS !

I went here for my birthday and had an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and professional, and the food was excellent!

Had a great time here overall. The place was very clean and looked nice. The staff was extremely kind and went above and beyond for our entire group. The food was very very good and tasty. My cousin said her meal needed more sauce, and they then promptly brought her some more. Overall I enjoyed the entire experience and would recommend this location to others.

The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Tori was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere felt like we were in a villa in Tuscany. We ordered salmon and tortellini. Both were incredible. The desserts we ordered were the chocolate lasagna and zeppoles. Both desserts were divine. It was a very enjoyable, delicious meal. I'm looking forward to eating here again.

This is my favorite Olive Garden. It’s very close to my house, the food is always consistent and today I got a strawberry margarita that was, wow! Our server, Lisa is a gem. We’ve had her a few times and her service is always amazing! The food always comes out great, we never feel rushed, but she’s always available when you need her. Always a pleasant experience.

Well, we were going to Olive Garden on Old Country Road in Long Island but traffic changed our plans. We wind up going to Sunrise Olive Garden and all I can say is fantastic. We ordered by phone and then we were approached my manager Tiffany. She showed how as a manager Tiffany assisted ifs on the menu that was good. She was right the good was Fantastic. Instead of traveling from Coney Island to Old Country Road this Olive Garden is worth traveling for. A manager whom went above and beyond her duty to make sure my wife and I was and will be satisfied. Thank you Tiffany for all you do. New customers to your restaurant.

You’d think that I’ve you e been to one Olive Garden that you’ve seen em all. Not the case here. This location is raising the bar for the rest of the chain. The service, atmosphere and food was so good you forget that you’re at olive garden for a quick second cause it feels like fine authentic Italian dining. Good job!!

Run, don't walk if you're in the mood for a tasty Alfredo and a glass of wine along with unlimited salad and freshly baked breadsticks. Ensure you get the extra parmesan grated on top since it brings out the pasta's real flavor. The presentation isnt the best but the serving size was more thank enough for a hungry adult (I had to take some home). My server was lovely. She gave me breadsticks and salad to go with a smile. I will be back to this Green Acres, NYC location. It's huge and I had an entire section for myself on a Monday night. Love!

My sister and I went for lunch around 1pm. Our server was Malik. He is a outstanding server. We said we are very hungry. He recommended the raspberry ice tea. We had soup and salad. Went for endless pasta and typically the service isn’t great here but this time was an unexpected surprise. Our waitress, Ro was extremely friendly and humorous. She was quick and efficient with the service and she did a great job checking on us and asking if we wanted refills. She definitely made the experience for us. We came here for a going away dinner. The service was great. The food took a little longer to arrive as the server said that they were slow with the food preparation that day. Our server did do her best to accommodate us, a party of 15 people.

I just wanted to set the record straight. I walked in with some heavy prejudice from the yelp reviews and some friends who claim "worst place to eat ever". Valley Stream Olive Garden is a very very good place to eat. Food is fresh, service is very very attentive and place is very clean. You can do a lot worse for a lot more money. Don't listen to the nay sayers. Go try it for yourself.

I gave them 4 star because i was sitting at the bar and when i tried to check in, it showed i had already picked up my order before the due time which wasnt true. I got my order 20 minutes after what was stated. So i dont know if Olive Garden finagle the time it takes them to get the food ready Or what. The service is great. Got home and tried the shrimp scampi. No asperagus but alot of asperagus stems. Not as much food as if you would get in house. And it was too salty. Ate the shrimp and broccoli (in place of tomatoes) and had to dump the rest. Too salty. I will tell you about the salmon later. Later... salmon was eh...

I've been to this location several times. There has been 1 time they have missed the mark with the food last week. Otherwise, a fairly decent location to this franchise.

I don't usually like food chains but Olive garden is definatly a place where I can get really great food. The staff at this location are attentive, and friendly. The bartender we had made us a very tasty Italian margarita made with 1800 tequila. The picture below shows cheese sticks with Alfredo sauce. I typically get the shrimp carbonara which is always a hit for me. What I do miss are the risotto bites. Parking lot right behind this location and the wait fit a table on a busy night is usually 30-40 mins. But the bar is always an option. you can dine there or wait till your seating is avalible.

They have about 3 or 4 Bar tenders that provide outstanding customer service Sasha and Chris make this trip worthwhile others are normally overwhelmed and cannot handle the bar and the drinks. I wish I could think of the other bartenders names because they really do a great job

Def knew of my Fav spots to visit. Kids friendly also, and staff is super nice and friendly. Great food.

kinda dark in there. no strong cell service. in the pic it was a chicken alfredo pasta dish lunch option came out to $20ish plus 20% tip $25 total. portion was very small but i was fine w that but most americans will not see value here. food itself was decent as expected salad was too saucy/sweet and bread was plastic maybe i got charged the regular amount instead of the $11 lunch? but the waitress swirled the ipad around asking how much tip and i did not see my bill.

We sat at the bar because there were people waiting for tables. Once we were in the place looked empty inside. I couldn't understand the long wait for those who wanted to be seated at a table.

First time visiting Olive Garden. They were super under staffed. They were slow and I basically got ignored. The price is a bit too high for what they offer. But taste is not bad.

Unfortunately, I found blood in the men's bathroom floor so I have to dock a star and another for subpar salad. The toasted ravioli was delectable and so too the calamari. Hopefully your dining experience will be better than mine. Cheers.

I often visit this location and it's great but tonight i went close to closing and it was horrible. Bad lettuce in salad, dry hard linguine burnt chicken, missing sides and sauces. Almost everything was incomplete and took long to be served. So bad I asked for the manager. She was very pleasant and apologetic and offered to fix our meals but at this point we lost our appetite. The server was polite and tried his best to accommodate us with the inadequate food the kitchen gave him to serve.

It was my first time in this beautiful restaurant that impressed me when I saw that we were going to senare there but when we arrived the waitress treated us very well. But the atmosphere was not very pleasant and what was worse were the bathrooms, they were very dirty, there was a lot of paper everywhere. The toilet bowl was with blood. With "Blood" what kind of dirt did they make there. I think they should do a little cleaning in the bathrooms.

We arrived during the lunch hour on a Saturday. Myself my mother and two of my children. There was a wait time of about 20-30 minutes. This restaurant is very spacious and there were multiple tables sitting empty so we were surprised by the wait time. We did indeed wait for about 25 minutes. The service was nice not great the food was not bad. However I did appreciate that the manager came to ask how things were. The one thing I hate at any restaurant and it happened at this service was that the main entree came minutes after we had just received our appetizers. It is so inconvenient and really disrupts the flow of the meal because the table gets overcrowded. Other than that Olive Garden is a nice place to go with a family to relax and spend time together.

We waited over 30 min. call ahead ti avoidcthe wait or go onto the website and get in line there. They will give you a time to show up and everything. Parking is an issue because it is in the parking lot of a major mall and next door to a red lobster. We circled the parking lot for 20 min before finding a spot. Our friends waited over 30 min for a handicapped parking spot. This is definately an issue and we will not be going back to this location because of it.

They profile and if they "think" you don't tip, your service will be slow. Asked for mushroom in my fettuccine Alfredo, they threw raw uncooked chopped mushroom in, no mixing, no sautee, just garnished my pasta with raw mushroom. Gross🤮 Never gave me ANY BREADSTICKS, NOT ONE AT ALL. I assumed it was protocollo when you order pasta dishes. KEISHA was our waitress who didn't even refill my water once. Its wild how if you're not an alcoholic drinking at 1pm people assume you're not a good tipping patron. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I still tipped 5 bucks because therapy, education & lash glue are expensive.

I wanted to eat at the bar. The counter was full of dirty dishes. I asked the server if she could clean the table. I had to ask her again to please clear all the other dishes. Who wants to eat and be surrounded by dirty dishes? I was there from 730pm to 930pm. This is how slow and inattentive she was. A Caucasian couple came and she introduced hrrself,( something close to Jessie) She never introduced herself to me. She was very quick and attentive to them They had come in much much later than me and got served immediately and their orders were coming timely! I had to wait so much for my order. There were many gaps in between waiting for the food( hence 2 hrs. I was there) MY soup got cold waiting for bread sticks as an example.( 5 minutes waiting) I asked for seltzer water with lemon.i waited patiently for 25 minutes before I got it. Terrible service. I gave her a tip I was considering on not giving her a tip but I did anyway,out of my heart! I would have given much more had the service been better. I truly appreciate an attentive server therefore bigger tips!

Our food came out with a fair amount of hair in it and the lemonade that came out, I guess they forgot the syrup because it was nothing more than warm water. Despite the poor food, our server Angela was wonderful and is probably the only reason we’d give this OG a chance again. She did her best to fix and compensate for the slew of food related issues. Her table side demeanor was A1 and she was patient and understanding. The survey on the tablet didn’t ask about her service just the food, so we wanted to make sure it was clear that while the food was subpar today, her service will make us give a old favorite spot another chance.

The food arrived cold and lacked flavor, The drink was poorly made and completely unbalanced. It tasted like mostly ice with barely any actual flavor, which was surprising given the restaurant’s reputation. Additionally, the restaurant did not appear very clean, and the overall atmosphere felt rushed and unorganized. For the price, I expected much better quality and service. I hope management takes steps to improve both customer service and food quality

Unfortunately we were seated for over 25 minutes and could not get our drink order taken. After waiting, we waved at the Manager and a waitress but were ignored. We decided to leave and on the way out the Manager asked if we wanted to sit on the other side. That was the first time being addressed since being seated.

My it’s time at this Olive Garden, I just had to walk out. They are very disorganized. Jayla seems to be the person in charge but she can’t give clear directions regarding when or how long it going to take to get a table. Very poor communication and nobody seems to know what they have to do.

Today I had the worst experience at this location. Ever since we got there the service was terrible. We got there at 8 pm and no one came to the table to give us a drink for almost an hour. A lot of people came after us and they were taken care of except for us. I had to call one of the waitress to ask if we could order and the guy told me to give him a few minutes, 15 min later they came to take our order. They brought us our drinks and salad. But took more than an hour to give us our food. When they brought the food the restaurant was already closed it was almost 10:30. I told another waitress our situation that we were there for two hours waiting and at the end we did not get what we wanted. They only apologized but an apology was not going to make it any better. I have visited Olive garden in valley stream on numerous occasions for many years, and I always order the same meal. However, at 1pm today the waitress was the absolute worst. First she kept calling me mommy which in my opinion is rude she was also loud and obnoxious. So I start placing my order which was soup and salad and then also another order for eggplant parmesan and I literally pointed to each item as I ordered. So she brings me my soup I finished my soup and then I asked her if she was going to break the salad and she said no you get either or I said no on the menu you get salad with your soup. She then proceeded to tell me oh that's not what you ordered you can pay for the salad if you want but it doesn't come with it you ordered incorrectly and then she told me she was getting frustrated with me and started yelling. I have never seen anything like that in my entire life and was completely baffled by her outburst. If you know me you know that I'm the nicest person in the world this young lady was extremely rude I couldn't even believe my ears so my spouse and I ended up leaving I was so disappointed.

This location always has an issue whether it is customer service or food quality. On my visit a few days ago however, it was the quality of the food which was a true disappointment. When my family and I went, my daughter ordered a kid’s meal with old grapes served to her that she couldn’t eat it. Afterwards, the most disgusting part was the breadsticks had MOLD on it. There was a huge blackish green mold growing on the bread already! Even though I brought it to the manager’s attention and she brought new bread and a discounted bill, it is still so unsettling to know how unsanitary their kitchen must be and how their food is being stored. This isn’t the first time that the quality of food or customer service has been a disappointment at this location. I truly hope they fix this place up because it is horrible!

We should've left the minute we were asked to wait outside, since the hostess was unavailable. We stood outside in the cold with 3 other parties, till invited in. Other employees were standing around with no customers in whole sections. Took forever to be waited on. Only 2 tables in site. Alec was our waiter, he was pleasant, and only positive of this location. We had salad and soup before drinks. Waited on cheese for a while for each course. Order was wrong, and bathroom was the vision of Covid. I understand new servers, but the bathroom had numerous employees in it. Not from NY, and our back home location put this location to shame! I don't know how Olive Garden would claim this location!

Avoid going on any big holiday your going to get seated then wait over an hour for your food they even had people that came after us receiving there order first we finally get our food and I was highly disappointed I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was a bowl full is asparagus and tomatoes I was ready to go and we was trying to pay the bill on the tablet attached to the table and a lady staff member rushed over to the table telling us don’t skip the survey then asked ‘you did have good service right’ and pressed on the tablet basically giving their location good ratings I will never go back to the Olive Garden (me and my husband went on Mother’s Day)

Zero stars will be better. 1 hour waiting for food. The drinks come after 30 min. And the food never come to the table. We paid the drinks and leave with out eating. I will never come back to this place. And of course I don't recommend 🙄

First and last time visiting this Olive Garden. From the moment we arrived, the wait to be seated was unusually long. Once we were seated, our server (who I should have caught her name) didn’t make a good impression, she seemed overwhelmed and had a bit of an attitude. We understood she was also bartending that night, ( only one making drinks) but her focus was completely on the bar. We waited a long time for drinks and weren’t even offered water while we waited. We had to repeatedly ask other staff members for napkins and updates on our food because our server was rarely attentive. We were dining with my mother’s elderly friend, who is over 70, and even when she politely mentioned the long wait, the server remained dismissive and rude. I remained nice and calm as I’m pregnant but that was hard to do when someone is being nasty. The only positive was that the food tasted good. But unfortunately, the poor customer service made the entire experience uncomfortable. We won’t be returning!

I ordered chicken scampi which is supposed to come with green and red peppers but instead I received asparagus. I get this dish often. I got take out so didn’t see this until later in the night and by that time it was too late. I was really upset because I ended up throwing it out because it tasted bad. I don’t understand how they can mess a dish like this up.

It was not a busy, calm evening. The host still made everyone wait about 20 minutes even though the tables were empty. I believe they are understaffed. The waiter seemed not to be paying attention to any of his tables. Drinks came very late, about 20 minutes, then he forgot our appetizers and tried to serve the main food first. The food was very bland and watery. I will not go again.

This place is starting to look really unappealing. The bathroom needs service. No toilet paper, toilet paper all over the floor, water spout missing on the faucet. The tables need to be cleaned better and

I travel around the world and have dined in many restaurants. I must say this establishment is the worst place I have dined. My family and I arrived at 8:40pm. Was seated at 9:24pm. We placed our orders at 9:30pm. However, appetizers did not arrive until 10pm. Our drinks did not arrive until 10:15. Our main course meals did not arrive until 10:45. After speaking with the general manager (Angela Zelaya) and she confirming a very bad service, she did nothing to accommodate us but offer us free dessert and credit us $12.79 for the appetizers. This place, is the worst. Alec, our server, should have no business serving in this field due to his lack of experience and knowledge. I would not reccomend this place to anyone and advise all to consider eating elsewhere when in the area.

I don’t think I’ve even experienced a birthday dinner like this. My best friend and I decided to do a laid back birthday dinner this year. We were sat at a dirty booth then our server said he would be back but didn’t come back until we turned on our flashing light. We ordered unlimited salad & breadsticks-never received the breadsticks until the end of the meal when we had to ask. The salad was missing most of the components and they didn’t take empty bowls and cups until we asked.

Myself and my family visited this location in the past and it was always a wonderful experience. We decided to visit this location last evening and had the worst experience. From the time we entered customer service was horrible. I was told to take my 4 months old baby out of the stroller and fold the stroller. Next when we got our table we ordered drinks and food and sat for two without any food or response from the waiter . When the food came we were told they had a party of 40 and the kitchen was busy. We understand that but the food was horrible. My family couldn't eat any of the food. It had no taste , the eggplant was raw and the noodles was watery. The shrimp was raw with no taste and we couldn't eat any of the food. We called the waiter n told him about the food. He went and lingered in the back and came back and say he told them and they say they can't do anything about it and went on to give me the bill . I pain extra and he took a while to come back to the table and I told him the experience is so horrible and this is not how you deal with an issue and I told him to take the 20 dollars tip. He laughed and left . I am never going back to this restaurant at this location and I dont recommend it to anyone.

Didn't even get to the food waiter last name reed black girl terrible took her 30 mins to serve drinks then had the nerve to have a attitude after she says they dont have the beer I asked for and after she served other people who just sat down their drinks 😒 charged me $30 for a salad bread sticks and a ginger ale

Literally waited 1 hr to be presented to a sever and get our drinks, then we got our salad and ordered our food and still waited 1 hr to get our food , in the mean time no one told us that there system was down so we felt as if we were just forgotten , when the food came we didn’t even want to eat at all! Very bad service we are never coming back here again.

This place is filthy as idk what. Our server was good, but no one should come here unless you want to eat in a pig pen. Only came here because a friend invited for a meet up for the kids. But I never imagined it would be this bad.. gross.

Food was good. We had a party of five and only 4 of us received our meal while the fifth person in our party had to wait 15 minutes longer for his meal because a waiter/waitress gave his to someone else in another party. Service was non existent, this was not due to a bad waitress, this was due to the fact that our waitress was waiting tables, bartending and bussing tables. Our used dishes sat there until we asked to have them removed. There was a fly that landed on our table a few times and a couple of gnats that our table was shooing away for the entire meal. The floor was not swept and the restaurant was very hot.

First time trying Olive Garden in New York and it was a huge disappointment. Our table wasn’t clean, the server was sarcastic (even made a rude remark when asked about rice), and when bringing out the food, it felt like he slammed the plates on the table. As a first-time visitor, I expected warmth and good service to match the reputation of the food, but the customer service was poor. Definitely needs improvement.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I ordered to go when I got home my shrimp Alfredo was so burnt I called the store and the manager was too busy to come to the phone. I went to the store gave the guy at the desk the food he took it to manger Tiffany that never came to apologize . I ask for a refund Tiffany told them that it will be done at the end of the night I had to get really loud then so came and refund my money. Stay away from this store all kids and unprofessional people work here

I will never come to this Olive Garden ever again!!!! I had the worst experience. First, my table was never cleaned; I had my entree plate, salad bowl, and soups on the table while the main dish was served. ( and we were a group of 5). The girl never even asked if we wanted a refill. I asked for cheese three times and never got it because ANOTHER WAITER HID THE CHEESE!!! Who does that? The waiter could not go and tell me. I had been waiting for 15 minutes before I started eating my food because I was waiting for the cheese. Then I saw her bringing the cheese to another table, I raised my hand, and she ignored me and told me another waiter hid it, and apparently, they only had ONE IN THE entire RESTAURANT. We were never asked if everything was good with our order nor if we wanted a refill, and the waiter was nowhere to be found. I had to get up to get ketchup, too, because there was none on the table. To put a cherry on top of the cake, they did not have any chocolates, and the outside was filthy. NEVER AGAIN!!!

If there was an option to rate 0 star, I would, 1 star is way too much for this location. It's not my first time going to this location, and as soon as you walk through the door, you notice how un kept the restaurant is with wrappers and other debris on the floor in the waiting area. No one is ever at the desk to greet guests, and you have to stand there clueless, wondering where the greeter is as the family in front of us as well. When we finally sat down to get served, the waitress didn't have a clue what she was doing, not even knowing which bottle of water the restaurant carries. Waitress brought out the soup and salad with no plate to server/ eat on, we asked for a plate which never came and we had to ask a manager or who I thought was picking up the slack. We asked for plastic utensils and was told they dont have any, we also asked for peach ice tea, and we were also told they dont have any! When the food came out it the presentation was very sloppy and slapped together, which looked like it was missing food and sauce as if we were served a side dish instead of an entree. After noticing the lack of sauce for the food, 10 minutes later, when we finally saw the waiter to tell her about the sauce, she said sure I'll get it right now. We never saw her again and never got my sauce and had to eat the bland food that was lacking a lot of taste and flavor. After eating, the waitress finally appeared once again asking if everything was ok, not even acknowledging that she didn't even bring out the sauce. The entire time at the restaurant, we noticed the understaffed establishment with the waitress cleaning the tables that were serving with no bus boy in sight. Looked like they hired whoever with no customer experience and no training to serve customers. I'm surprised the location is still in business. I'm extremely disappointed that management would allow this to go on, and I've tried eating here for the last year or two with no change whatsoever. I will never waste my time or money eating at this Greenacres location ever. I highly recommend anyone to try another location for better service.
