We had lunch today for a baptism. We felt a sense of family, tradition, and quality food—somethings that have been lost today. We'll definitely be back to dine at this restaurant, nestled in the greenery...with a beautiful panoramic view of the village of Ceri. Impeccable service from the wait staff and kitchen staff.
Dinner with friends; the mixed fried fish was a must; excellent pizzas, large, thin, and well-seasoned. The house wine was excellent, and the service staff were very friendly. I can't comment on the prices, as our friends offered the dinner, whom I still thank from the bottom of my heart, but from memory, the prices on the menu seemed reasonable. A lovely place, definitely worth a visit.
I was there for a friend's 18th birthday party, and everything was excellent: the cured meats were delicious, the pasta dishes were fantastic, and the meat was excellent. The location speaks for itself, and there's a tranquility that few places have. Excellent place, and if I have the chance, I'll be back to try the à la carte menu.
Spectacular location, beautiful, fresh, well-maintained, and clean, nestled in the green countryside of Cerveteri. The staff is attentive, kind, and friendly, and the service is prompt thanks to a team of dedicated and enthusiastic waiters. The dishes are exquisite; we opted for a pizza al centro (pizza in the center) as an appetizer and grilled meat with sides. Everything was delicious and flavorful. It was very quiet, no one rushed us, just time to enjoy the lovely cool evening air. The pizza maker's oven is open to the public, with beautiful windows. You can choose from anything from the menu, including fried foods, appetizers, various types of pizza, as well as appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful evening or day, enjoying not only a meal, but also the tranquility, the ambiance, and the friendly service, all while getting away from the city.
A restaurant nestled in the Ceri countryside, in the province of Cerveteri, with breathtaking views! Good food, fast service, and friendly, knowledgeable waiters. Excellent value for money, we'll definitely be back! The only downside is the road to get there, as if you have a low-slung car, you risk slashing your tires!
A charming location, a splendid farmhouse surrounded by greenery with a panoramic view of the ancient village of Ceri... Ideal for informal ceremonies. It has a vast park where children can play safely. The food is exceptional. All the staff are friendly, kind, and helpful. So much stuff
I've been to this trattoria several times in the past. It enjoys a splendid location and, back then, was a "country" restaurant. The food was good and the prices were affordable, moderate to low. Now the context has changed, demand and perhaps even attendance have increased, so the prices have aligned with those of a decent-quality restaurant in Rome. However, I still think they're reasonable given the quality and portion size (appetizers from €10-15, first and second courses from €12-15 - excluding meat by weight, side dishes from €4-5, desserts from €5-7). Regarding the food, we had polenta, suckling pig with chicory and roast potatoes, and a crumbled cake for dessert. All the dishes were good quality and of a decent size, and in some cases generous (see photo of the roast suckling pig, which was delicious, more than good). So, based on my experience today, given the above premises, the restaurant remains recommendable, as it has been in the past.
This is the greatest experience for traditional Pizza, non of the rubbish you get in England. The staff are excellent and even when busy, they will always make sure you have all you need. It has fantastic views of the countryside, It's a place I will make a point of going again next time I am in Ladispoli. Thank you so much.
If you have mobility (car) and you are near the coast of Rome Ladispoli Civitavecchia you have to try this place. It ain't vegan, but you can call ahead (better if someone speaks Italian), and politely explain you are a plant based eater. Many Italian dishes are plant based by default They also have pizza. The service is amazing too
Its a beautiful restaurant situated on the hills of Rome and very close to a medieval village called Ceri. The food is great and have a variety of antipasto, pastas and grilled meats. I would definitely suggest to try. The ONLY downfall of the location is that you NEED a car to get to the restaurant because there are no public transportation that I know of that goes close or around the restaurant.

Excellent restaurant with a breathtaking view of the wonderful countryside and the fairytale village of Ceri. They serve excellent food of both quality and quantity. Excellent table service and prompt service. The only thing is the price is a little high. But it was a great experience.
I'll start by saying that the location is beautiful, overlooking the spectacular Borgo di Ceri. The place is historic, and there's nothing more to complain about. But let's start with the appetizers, which I have to say were a bit small in quantity, even though they were for two people, so much so that we had to take them back. The first courses were the same, fairly basic in quantity. I'd also say the tagliatelle with ragù were a bit dry (not enough sauce), while the mushroom and sausage gnocchi in the photo were worth it. The pork was truly a standout dish, cooked perfectly, soft and tasty. As for the desserts, other diners said they were delicious, but at the end of the day, paying €54 for eight desserts seemed a bit high. However, in the end, the price is also fair, around €30 per person, even a little more. The staff were young and friendly, and the service was ultimately clean and fast.
Good place for pizza, homemade first course and delicious meat. I love the grilled "maialino" alias little pig. You can reach the destination only by car but there you'll enjoy a wonderful view of the village. Staff friendly and kindly. 👍
Very good. They can even accommodate vegan options, even if they're all veggies. Everyone is very kind and friendly. The only downside is that the lighting is really dim, in my opinion.
The restaurant has a truly beautiful location, with a splendid view of the village that creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are good and the portions are reasonable; overall, the cuisine is satisfying. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by some negative aspects. In particular, an appetizer bearing the restaurant's name was missing, which one would expect as a signature dish. Furthermore, shortly before the main courses arrived, we were informed that the baked potatoes we had ordered were unavailable, offering two other side dishes as substitutes. To our surprise, upon service, we were nevertheless brought both the baked potatoes and the alternative side dishes, which we would not have ordered had we not been informed of the lack of potatoes. Finally, a decidedly unpleasant note on the final bill: the prices of the main courses were higher than indicated on the menu, for a total difference of about 15 euros. In summary, an excellent location and good cuisine, but attention to service and price transparency are key aspects to ensuring a truly positive experience.
We had lunch on a sunny day, and the location certainly deserves a mention: beautiful view and a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes were also good, simple and homemade, with decent portions. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the service and especially the bill. We had asked for potatoes as a side dish, but just before the main courses arrived, we were told they were out of stock. We were then advised to order two side dishes instead, but in the end, the potatoes arrived as well. However, the bill included both the potatoes and an additional side dish we hadn't requested. To make matters worse, one of the main courses was charged at a different (higher) price than what was listed on the menu. In total, it was about €15 more, which we had corrected, but the inconvenience remains. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but incidents like this seriously detract from the experience and give the impression that it wasn't a simple oversight.
