Osteria a due passi dalla stazione di Venezia e dalle fermate di Piazzale Roma. Personale cortese e disponibile, attento e veloce nel servizio. Menù vario con pietanze di pesce e di carne, piatti dalle giuste porzioni e cucinati molto bene. Tavoli interni e all'aperto e se state all'aperto utilizzate dello spray antizanzare. Nella sala interna c'è anche la postazione per le pizze ed il forno, in bella vista. Prezzi nella media cittadina.

Food was great as well as the atmosphere and the service. I had the rigatoni and the pasta was fresh as well as the sauce. The only downside was there was a charge for 9 euros for 3 of something that we didn’t order. The only thing I could see is the complementary drink they gave us or a service charge for 3 people.

The food is excellent ✨ with authentic italian dishes and quality ingredients. This was recommended to us by our local Italian family friend, and we trust his tastes. We were very pleased with the service and the portion size of the dishes. We got the "Mixed grilled meat" platter, and we loved it ☀️. It comes with traditional "polenta" but with a twist. Overall excellent experience and I'd recommend paying them a visit if you're in the area. I recommend trying out the "stuffed olives" appetizer. I never had anything like that before or since. Very creative. They close late (23:00).

I ordered one pizza to take away. The crust was so crunchy. It tasted amazing. I could really tell that all the ingredients were really fresh. The pricing was good too and it didn’t take a long time for the food to come out. Highly recommend. Would love to try out their other menus too

Food was amazing - everything I hoped for. I came during lunch time (2pm) and it was not super busy. The coffee was also very good - I ordered my usual espresso macchiato. Wish I had another night in Venice so I could try more of their menu. Definitely recommend!!

This place has the best food in Venice! I had the Albo pizza....yummy. I definitely recommend it. My friend had Ribs and she loved hers too! The dessert sampler is excellent for those who cannot decide! I highly recommend this restaurant. Be sure to book ahead to get a spot!

This was hands down one of the best restaurants my wife and I ate at during our honeymoon in Italy. The free bread and breadsticks for the table were delicious - the bread was very good for sopping up the pasta sauces and leftover balsamic. I started with the paccheri al ragù di verdure - the fresh house made pasta was incredible, and I loved the sauce. It seemed very simple, just carrots and zucchini with some basil, but it was so good. Next I had the tagliata di manzo con rucola, pomodorini, e aceto balsamico - this was by far the best dish I had in Italy! From the very first bite I knew this was special. The steak was sliced thin and was cooked a nice medium rare. It had such incredible, deep flavor, which I think was mostly from the beef itself. The only other seasoning on the steak itself was some very coarse salt from what I could tell. It was so rich and beefy, and it melted away in my mouth. It was served atop an arugula salad and with roasted cherry tomatoes and covered all over in high quality balsamic vinegar. The balsamic was thick, sweet, and had just the right amount of acidity to bring all the components together for a perfect bite. We finished the meal with the Quartetto di Classici - this was a sampler of 4 of their desserts and came with tiramisù, crème brûlé, panna cotta ai frutti di bosco, and vino dolce con cantuccio. All the different desserts were in such cute little serving vessels, and the crème brûlée was lit on fire by the waitress as it was served. The tiramisù was pretty good. The dessert wine was excellent, but the biscotti with it was just alright. The creme brûlée was tasty. The panna cotta was the best, it was so light and creamy, and the fruit on top was delicious. We also had the mousse al cioccolato con granella di pistacchio - this was the lightest, fluffiest mousse I’ve ever had. It had a really nice chocolate flavor too! Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Venice!

Outstanding venue set on the backstreets behind the Carlton Hotel. Turned up at 10pm for dinner when most places were closing, this Ostaria was very much alive. We’re seated, spoken to in English, treated amazingly and had a great polenta, gluten free pasta dish, with Aperol Spritz, limoncello and Cappuccino. When we arrived it was New Years Day, so the 10pm seating was a surprise to us. This is a great venue, with great staff. Who know how to delivery top quality service 365 days of the year. It’s very clear this place is loved by locals, as it was full of them. Thank you, we’ll be back.

The best food I’ve had in Italy thus far after Rome, Naples, and Procida. Many people have posted about the rude staff, waiting for service etc. but honestly it’s whiny Americans who are spoiled. You don’t come to Venice for a waiter to impress you, you come for the food, culture, and experience! Contemplating eating her again it was so good! Also open late (midnight or later) so it worked out great for us and was in walking distance to our hotel.

Siamo a Venezia laguna e tra sestrieri, campi, fondamenta e calle troverai sempre un pozzo. Il Vecio Pozzo è il tipico ristorante che sa traametterti tutto il fascino delle tradizioni del luogo dove risiedi o visiti. Caratteristico, molto soprattutto nella seconda sala ti trovi immerso in un sotteportego tra mura antiche e ringhiere arruginite. Bello. Pranzare o cenare fuori poi, all aperto nella strada che dire sei a Venezia ogni commento è singolare. Veniamo al cibo. Lo chef ci mette cuore nei piatti tradizionali, non parlo di straniero, italiano 100% indigeno doc. Piatti quindi della tradizione, dai bigoli, anatra, pesce rigorosamente locale ho trovato quello azzurro che si sa, deve essere fresco, davvero cucinato benissimo. Non ho provato tutto, la pizza non la ho assaggiata ma ho assaggiato la schiacciata fatta dal pizzaiolo e mi è sembrata buona. Forse il menu non è variegatissimo, ho mangiato due giorni di fila e cambiava poco. Prezzi? Be nella norma antipasto, primo, secondo cantucci e biscotti al vin santo 32€ direi buono. Una cosa, servizio straordinario ho visto cucinare una carne al tavolo spettacolo e preparare la tartarre con maestria. Camerieri gentili riservati gli stranieri sono coccolati e questo mi è piaciuto moltissimo, raro a Venezia soprattutto perché qui al vecio pozzo c è l italianità cosa molto rara qui.

Già visitato per l'ottima pizza, questa volta ho voluto provare la tagliata di manzo con rucola e grana ma, a chi e' interessato, dico che ho visto passare anche fiorentine e grigliate miste di carne favolose! Ambiente piacevole ed accoglienza simpatica. Prezzi giusti ed ottima qualità. È uno di quei locali che costituiscono un punto di riferimento per i veneziani. Consigliato!

Nice local restaurant with pizza and pasta in a quite neighbourhood close to the city center of Venice. The staff was ok but they could be more helpful and responsive. The pizzas were very tasty and the Prosecco also nice! We tried the cotto e funghi pizza and the pizza amber with truffle paste and wild mushrooms!

So this place was recommended by the hotel staff and we thought for our first night we would give it a try. I have to say the service was fantastic. We arrived with no booking and asked to sit outside, the waiter was happy to seat us outside and provided menus immediately. All the service was with a smile and he had no problem with me not speaking much italian. I ordered the home made roast pork followed by grilled meat. Now my partner had veal ragu which she said was lovely and I have to say there was nothing in particular wrong with my food except that both dishes were simply meat. No sauces or anything to reduce the dryness of the plates. This was probably my fault for not thinking about the order but the plate of grilled meat was quite well cooked so also very dry. The roast pork was nice but again it was just a very large plate of roast pork slices. During our meal it began to rain and this got heavier and heavier and the waiters gave everyone the option of staying outside initially but once the rain became too heavy they helped get everyone inside and onto tables as quickly as they possibly could finding room for all diners. So the service here was absolutely fabulous and the food was good but to me not remarkable although the portion sizes were huge.

Ci aspettavamo di più: sapori piatti e poco armonizzati tra loro. Comunque porzioni abbondanti, cordialità da parte del personale e menù turistico a prezzo economico, ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo, secondo me è sfavorevole, in particolare riguardo al menù alla carta.

Abbiamo pagato 12 euro a pizza, su una mancava l uovo, segnato sullo scontrino come aggiunta a 2 euro. Mentre le altre due erano con l aggiunta di patate a 2,50. I prezzi non sono commisurati alla quantità degli ingredienti, ci sono due cose in croce. Vedete voi cosa fare

We arrived a little late as we couldn't find our way. We were greeted with the rudest staff. Asked for a highchair and got tutted at. Took them 30 minutes to bring that. Took them 1 hr to take our food order. We didn't get our starters until 22.15. We then got our main and they didn't even take the starter plates away and give us cutlery. Again it seemed like too much bother for them to do their job. We then signalled to a girl for attention and said excuse me. She looked as us and walked away. We wanted to order more drinks. Anyway the main came.. duck ragu.. no sauce. When we said it was dry the man replied that's how we do it in Italy in a horrible tone. The chips were even dry.. like they'd been microwaved. They stood over us waiting for us to sort the bill. Cleaned up around us trying to rush us as they wanted to go home. Now the two of us who had the duck ragu have both been bad as dogs and can't get off the toilet. So we've also been food poisoned too. Avoid avoid avoid!!
