Bar Pasticceria e Pizzeria Romano

Solche Läden liebe ich, sie sind wie eine kleine Zeitreise, als ich in jungen Jahren mit knappem Budget Italien bereiste. Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen, winzig klein, gerade Platz für 3 Tische, wir kamen am Samstagabend zu dritt, man machte uns noch Platz, kein Problem! Die Karte ist ein in Plastik eingeschweisstes Blatt mit diversen Pizzen, preislich zwischen 6 und 10€. Man sitzt an Klapptischen auf einfachen Stühlen. Der Service sehr herzlich und freundlich, alles familiär. Die hintere Hälfte des Lokals nimmt der Pizzaofen ein, der von einem älteren Herrn betrieben wird, der sein Handwerk absolut versteht. Trotz der günstigen Preise sind die Pizzen reichlich belegt und groß. Der Teig ist wunderbar, am Rand ein wenig trocken, aber klasse. Während wir warteten, stellte uns die Signora plötzlich einen Teller Pommes auf den Tisch - ein Gruß aus der Küche. Und die waren richtig gut. Wir sahen auch, wie andere Speisen serviert wurden, wie man die auswählt und bestellt, blieb uns aber unklar. Wohl etwas für Stammgäste. Insgesamt zahlten wir für ein üppiges Mahl zu dritt knapp 30€ und hatten eine richtig gute Zeit! Absolute Empfehlung und beide Daumen hoch. Wir kommen wieder - ganz sicher!

Dopo aver cercato ristoranti in tutta la città per ore, abbiamo scelto questo per cena. È davvero una pizzeria italiana autentica, sia per l'atmosfera che per il cibo. La consiglierei rispetto agli altri ristoranti in città che fanno pagare almeno 25€ a testa e offrono cibo probabilmente peggiore. Allego anche il menu: è davvero economico e offre cibo e servizio buoni.

On our last night in Ventimiglia, we went for a pizza at this lovely place which we already knew to be an excellent place for breakfast as well. The pizza was delicious with great ingredients and the service was very welcoming and attentive, even though there were lots of customers to be served. Affordable prizes, delicious pastries as a desert on the house and an overall authentic experience. You can already tell, because the place seems to be mostly frequented by locals. Hidden gem - highly recommended!

Volevo lasciare una recensione da 5 stelle a questa pizzeria “tutto in famiglia”. Qua si vive la vera esperienza di paese italiana, e da italiana espatriata, ritornare e respirare un po’ di semplicità e genuinità “un po’ alla buona” ha fatto bene al cuore a me, e al mio ragazzo francese. Se sei un turista, e ti capita di fermarti a Ventimiglia, non andare al ristorante vieni qui, e vivi l’Italia vera. E poi la pizza è bona ma bona davvero!
