I went on Easter Sunday with my daughter, we walked through the old neighborhood of "La Huaca" and it is a ladino from the heart of the huaca with exquisite food, tattooed sauces, the perfect chicharron sauce and some giant empanadas at a super good price, they treated us like at home and you have to try this wonderful place, 10 out of 10!!
They say the flowers sing when you have breakfast here, the empanadas are a heartfelt "I love you so much," the tomato platters are a blessing, the beans are a sea of palms at full volume—something truly special. The boss has a permanent smile, the girls are quite nice, and the service is a blessing. When you're looking to return to your roots and you long for a taste of death, then this is the place, here where Katia, smiling, ate and ate incredibly well. Don't overthink it; in this place, you can enjoy all the wonderful things that dough, in its many transformations, gives us. Come and enjoy, forget everything, jot things down in your notebook, and get ready because the magic is about to begin...

It's a must-visit spot on my visits to the port. Delicious! Great seasoning, and jarocho snacks. The fried plantains with cream and cheese are a favorite. The empanadas are flavorful, the sauces are delicious, and they sell smoothies, soft drinks, and much more.

The food is delicious, the service is good, and it's affordable. You can eat with your family inside, outside, or take it to go. They also deliver. They accept cash or bank transfers. They have really tasty snacks. They're open from 2 pm to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. They have set meals, and everything is delicious 😋
Delicious, traditional and absurdily inexpensive
The waitress didn't offer what was available; there were ants all over the table and in the sugar, and I asked her three times to please clean the table. None of the sauces were spicy, so I couldn't taste them. I saw a TikTok video that looked amazing, but when I arrived, it wasn't the same. My expectations were higher; the service fell short.
The appetizers are excellent 👌🏾 everything else is fine. The problem is that, on the three occasions I've been, they haven't paid attention to the details of the order and end up preparing things as they see fit, not as I request; fortunately, they've replaced them with what I originally asked for.
A great and affordable place to eat typical Veracruz dishes. Although they always have a terrible attitude, they treat you like they're giving you everything for free!
The food is very good, with authentic Veracruz flavor, but the staff's attitude is terrible; it's like I'm getting something for free. They get angry and start saying things in front of the other customers. It used to be a family favorite, but now it's just another place thanks to some of the women who work there and the tall, thin waiter who has a superiority complex.
