The place is clean, the service is good, and the staff is very friendly. However, I've had the experience of buying chicharrón con carnitas and it's too greasy and even stiff, but that's rarely the case. (The food is takeout only.) You can also order carnitas or chicharrón in bulk, depending on whether you order $30, $50, a quarter, a half. The chile rellenos and tamales are really delicious.

It looked bad, despite having tables stacked inside which indicated it wasn't in use. Looking from the outside in through the counter, everything looked dirty, even the curtain. We decided to leave.

As a recommendation, don't be guided by the number of diners you see waiting to be served; it was a mistake I made. I thought they would be good at least, given their popularity. However, the place is a complete joke. I don't know why they're so popular, because the carnitas are drier than the hottest desert in the solar system. They resemble pork rinds, and their flavor is extremely disappointing, even, I'd go so far as to say, horrible. There are much better places for that craving.

Very poor service, very bad service, in contrast to the many staff I observed. The taste was average, but it didn't meet the expectations I had for the place and the well-intentioned comments I'd received about it. The price is relatively expensive compared to what I would pay at a mid-range restaurant.

The tacos? Good. The service? TERRIBLE. The two women who work both at the register and when they cut the meat act like they're doing you a favor—very rude and pushy. I'm never going back.

Today we went to buy carnitas, and a woman reluctantly served us and tried to give us whatever she wanted. When I told her I didn't want it, she got angry and started making faces at me. She seemed very rude to me. It's never happened to me before. They've always been very friendly, but that employee they hired today was very bad at serving customers.

I found bones in my carnitas. (It was supposed to be solid meat). I'm never buying from them again, and besides, when you ask them to cut it up, they give you dirty looks. The service acts like they're doing you a favor. Oh! And they only accept cash.

Today I ordered a kilo and a half of castacan and it was a disappointment. They gave me pure fat and only a few pieces of meat. I won't buy from this place again, much less recommend it.
